I can assure you that if Davido had done this just be sure that in the next 3 months his house would be turned into a Mecca with all manner of idle brainless buffoons coming to pay him a useless visit from God knows where.

I think his handling was apt because it will completely shut down any other plans by another individual to follow in this guy's footsteps
Has Davido now corrected his approach or not?

Una sabi do unnecessary oversabi. Which sane person addresses a fan in that manner, in such an expansive public forum?

Can you now see how he turned around to modify his earlier approach?

The billboard is arrant nonsense.

Well-meaning Nigerians can't be described as Obidients. Obidients are those who support Peter Obi.

They can't use the tool of blackmail. It can't work. The judgement of the Tribunal should not be preempted, with so much recklessly as mounting a billboard.

Simple....just two instances:

1. 'I appreciate your selfless gesture bro, but I am currently unavailable. If it is okay with you, I will have a representative receive you at my home, upon arrival.'

One love!

2. I see you bro, that gesture is hugely touching. I am unavailable to receive you in person though. However, I'd ask a representative to do so on my behalf. Your support means everything to me. Jah bless!

It is not everything that makes sense to us that is true.

Families can be close and respectful even in the face of a divorce.

As for children, they will always be fine. Sometimes, what is needed is that space for the good of everyone, especially the children. Divorce isn't as bad as people make it out. It could be an opportunity for rediscovery for everyone.

One reality that adults fight against is that people fall out of love from their partners, and that there are differences which are irreconcilable, including those that seem very small.

Obi didn't win any election.

He does not even belong to a political party to start with.

How can someone who wants to be president not know the timing of when he should join a political party?

The Constitution and Electoral Act are clear on that. You have to belong to, and be sponsored by a political party to vie for any public office in Nigeria.

Section 77 (2) (3) of the Electoral Act are clear on hard and soft copies submission of party registers to INEC at least 30 days before any primary election.

So, Obi wasn't validly nominated by his party and as a matter of fact, did not participate in the last presidential election.

I hear people talking of Tinubu not getting up to 25% votes in Abuja, I think they need to read Section 299 of the Constitution where Abuja was defined. Abuja is just like any other state in Nigeria.

Simply put, Obi is pretentious.

Politics › Re: Ministerial List: New Ministries May Be Created – Gbajabiamila by CoolAmbience(m): 6:57am On Jul 28, 2023
festacman:
Why is ministerial lists in Nigeria always look largely ordinary and non-inspiring?

I know that people who work during elections would be compensated and the president reserves the right to choose his team but why must it be the same old politicians instead of their nominees with proven qualifications, experience and professional accomplishments.

Just like Buhari's ministers, take a look at this Tinubu's ministerial list and except for a very few, you won't sense much of likelihood of visionary sparks, revolutionary ideas and passion to go extra mile except waiting on presidential initiatives and maintaining/building political structure at home-front. The list communicates a scary feeling of "business as usual" than that of transformative policies, disruptive moves and even revolutionary ideas. But the next four years will tell.

We need to change this current selection system if Nigeria will ever fly high again.
It could be beyond proven qualifications, experience and accomplishments. How have these past qualifications, experiences or experiences impacted Nigerians? Many of these things are merely academic, with flawed acquisition processes. We need people that can get things done.

Prioritizing and impact are very vital. You need Ministers that will create solutions that will make direct immediate impact on the masses, in the forms of programs, policies and initiatives.

No matter how we see it, Wike, Umahi and Elrufai, largely got the job done in their past assignments. They were both transformers and disruptors. I can't say whether they revolutionaries. This is not without their baggages of partisan politics though.
