Politics › Re: Buhari's Son, Yusuf Wedding Invitation Letter by CoolAmbience(m): 9:35pm On Aug 14, 2021
KwaraRat:
Why is there a presidential seal on that wedding invite?

Is the State house now the ones organizing and funding the wedding?

Why is Yusuf and his siblings living in Aso Rock when they are adults ?

In the barracks any ward of a serving officer or personnel that attains the age of 18 is expected to vacate the barracks . Buhari knows this very well as he has served in several command positions and would have enforced such laws. So why are his lazy yoot kids still being fed and housed on tax payers dime?

These people think the presidency is equal to a monarchy and that Buhari is king and his useless children are royalty to be dotted on by Aso Rock staff
See pain o.

What is wrong with using the seal of the preaident? Their both families are the ones inviting guests, and it turns out that his father is Nigeria's sitting president.

Can we see proof of the army rule / law that prohibits children / wards of soldiers above 18 years of age, from staying in the barracks with their parent(s)?

For the seal, so long the president's family is involved, the seal can be used.

As for them staying in Aso Rock, wait until you become president, you can chase your own children into the bush, to please Nigerians.

Oga. your post reeks of hate and paranoia. It is equally childish and totally unnecessary.

Where is ur comparative analysis of d buhari administration with all other Nigerian govts since 1960? Since u did ur research, answering my questions shouldn't be a challenge for u:

Is this what u call a comparative analysis based on ur conclusion that "There has been no single President better than Buhari since independence"? I don't see any indices in what u wrote.

In ur number 3 point for instance, what are d figures? What's d reality on ground? What's d living standard of Nigerians since 2015 compared to before 2015? How has d economy been diversified? What has it been diversified to? how much revenue came in since 2015, how was it utilised that made u say "prudent management of economy"?

You have to take every aspect of governance since 1960 (taking into cognisance section 14 (2b) of d constitution), compare every administration since 1960 and mirror against d buhari administration using every single aspect of governance as indices.
Do your own research.

Stop being lazy.

How long ago was the Itakpe-Warri Railway started?

How long ago was the 2nd Niger Bridge conceived?

Why do pensioners now receive better attention than before?

Why has nothing been done to solve the notorious traffic gridlock on Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, such as constructing a railway line until now?

How is Nigeria surviving despite about 60% drop in oil revenue, when it is supposed to have shut down completely?

Who will believe that we will have locally grown rice flood markets across Nigeria?

Keep living in self denial.

Na you sabi.

Let me school you a bit.

On diversification, Nigeria is earning more from Solid Minerals, Agriculture, Customs, JAMB etc, than she did in decades, and that was what helped to sustain the economy, following drastic drop in oil revenues.

My basis for talking about prudent management of the economy is also evident. Have you asked why the civil service size wasn't cut despite significantly dwindled oil revenues? Why are pensioners receiving better attention than before?

1. Let's discountenance uncompleted projects if not Warri-Itakpe can also be claimed by IBB regime. So, modify your list to reflect that.

2. I'll also expect you to remove Lagos-, Ibadan expressway cause it's not a new project but just a rehabilitation. Or have people not been using the road since the 70s and successive govt carry out rehab work on it?

3. Here we go

Abuja capital city
Third mainland bridge
Shiroro hydroelectric power dam
Kano-Kaduna highway
Port Harcourt refinery 2

You want more?
Discountenance some abi?

Let's also discountenance Abuja City since every past leadership can lay claim to it, especially as it will remain an ongoing project for so long.

Same applies to Kano-Kaduna Highway which the current adminstration is investing hugely into fixing. So much has also gone into various maintenance works on the Third Mainland Bridge.

So, what is left on your list?

Buhari also built and commissioned a Solar power plant in Nigeria, it is a 1.52MW power infrastructure.

How did u arrive ur conclusion that "There has been no single President better than Buhari since independence"?
Simple..

1. Huge Strategic Physical Projects i.e. 2nd Niger Bridge; Bonny-Bodo Bridge; Lagos-Ibadan Railway, Lagos-Ibadan Expressway; Airports upgrade projects etc.

2. Pragmatic & progressive policies i.e. Anchor Borrowers Scheme; NSIP; PIDF; Energizing Businesses Initiative etc.

3. Prudent Economy Management through diversification. Who could have managed the economy better, among our crop of past leaders, with revenue dropping by around 60%?

Is it Babangida, Jonathan, Obasanjo or Abubakar? All of these people were there while the Itakpe-Warri Railway stayed under construction for almost 40 years? What about the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway? Lagos-Benin Highway; Abuja-Kaduna Expressway; Kaduna-Kano Highway etc.

Do you how many decades ago the 2nd Niger Bridge was conceived? Do you know for how long the Igbani people of Grand Bonny Kingdom in Rivers have depended only on the dangerous Atlantic creeks to connect to the rest of Rivers people?

Abeg, make we leave petty hate. I am from Anambra state. Buhari is the man!

Bonny-Bodo Bridge
Lagos-Ibadan Expressway
Lagos-Ibadan Railway
Itakpe-Warri Railway
2nd Niger Bridge.
Calabar-Cameroun Highway

.........let me pause and await for your list to continue.

mess has finished this team
Only an ignorant sports fan as you would say such.

According to Spanish Press, Messi brings in between £200million and £250million yearly to Barca, and earned gross salary of £138million annually, including bonuses.

So, how did he finish the team by singlehandedly raking in over £60million for them yearly, across the past 4 years?

Do you even know the cost of talent? I mean, sublime talent. Such so ingenious that one Club seeks to covet to themselves alone. Messi is one of the the beauties of this world, and I am glad that not only one Club will enjoy him.

Yes, Messi's cost is huge, but Barca has remained the richest Club in the world over the past few years despite his huge wage. It is obvious that it is case of administrative mismanagement by the Club; hence they should leave the young man alone to relish his new life with PSG.

Have you tried to value the trophies won by the Club in terms of money, as well as other earnings it received, over the past two decades, which were mostly due to Messi's singular influence?

Igbo don't need the bridge.

It is a waste of money.
Have you travelled smoothly for few hours before, only to get to Asaba to spend double or even triple the length of time you spent getting to Asaba, just to cross that bridge into Onitsha?

Upon completion next year, this bridge should be the longest, if I am not mistaken, in Africa. It directly move the huge traffic inward Owerri, Enugu, Port Harcourt etc, outside the hearts of Asaba and Onitsha.

This will, undoubtedly, represent one of the most important (if not the very most) physical infrastructures in the entire South East, as it is also expected to bear a railway line into the Onitsha Main Market from Agbor.

Do you know what manhours means in terms of money?

This is the best way to go for government. We can't afford to keep allowing terror to burgeon into something huge, before acting. We have to learn to cut terror to size once they begin to sprout.
