How do you know that they are not Boko Haram boys?If you know them then why are you keeping quiet? or you are a member right?my comment is if they are innocent let God set them free, but if they are guilty , let them face the penalties, because they have done more harm to so many families.

SportsRe: Interesting Article About John Mikel Obi by COOLDUN: 9:22pm On Aug 29, 2012
Mikel is an average player; my advice to him is to read from his critics and make some changes and not to see his critics as his enemies. Every footballer has his weapons, Mikel is a good passer of ball, but a good players is known to be playing and scoring goals, it is from mistakes we learn, a good player always take risks from that comes goals sometimes, which makes a player to be famous. Many clubs are not interested in Mikel because of his goals droughts .Ramirez is a darling of the Chelsea fans today because of his goals scoring abilities. Goal makes a good player.

Thank you for your intelligent reasoning and outspokenness, Igbo tribe is like a caterpillar ant, in the beech of a fowl, it can't swallow it and it doesn't want to drop it ,The only beneficiary to the rotten system of Nigeria are the Yorubas, that is why they want to hold it together at all costs, Take a look at the comments against the Igbo tribe in this forum, you will see what i mean. Igbo people are bad, why are you still living with these bad people for goodness sake? Nigeria is not one, and will never be one from all indications.

creserve: It was not Buhari that replied, not even his media aide!Buhari had contested elections on three different occassions and ALL efforts to pin down anything on him with regards to corrupt practices had proved abortive!OBJ set up three different committees to probe the defunct PTF and Buhari was found unblemished!OBJ himself acknoledged the man as a HONEST person in one of his published books! Baring any BIAS or HATRED.I think we should not shy away from giving kudos to the guy!If you have been following the trend of reactions of Babangida's spokesperson to accusation's of this nature, they always come with counter accusations. But this time,it came with a mere threat and nothing of substance.
You are current, please keep it up, only tribalists/bigots that call Buhari names. People who lived when 20 cups of garri was 1 naira will continue to pray for Gen Buhari and his second in command Maj Gen Tunde Idiagbon,RIP, but those who are benefitting from the rotten system will be praising the devil's agent IBB and the new regime. God will judge all the people who destroyed the middle class in Nigeria and made it only for the richests and the poorets.Gen Buhari you are one of the most patriotic leaders of our time. You are a leader and not a ruler.
PoliticsRe: I’ll Reply Babangida Soon - Buhari by COOLDUN: 2:24pm On Aug 29, 2012
Eziachi: My personal inner guts tells me that judging by the Nigerian standard, Buhari is not only clean but un-blemish. The man has stood between few corrupt Nigerians in an election they were desperate to defeat him by all means. Obasanjo is not only a wicked man but a very vindictive person, but saw nothing to hold on to against Buhari when he has every opportunity, motives and means to do so.

When IBB showed a little interest against OBJ and they started lifting the carpet through Ribadu, suddenly IBB goes silent and cooled on his ambition of a comeback.
Jonathan is surrounded by those that wants to shut up Buhari forever, especially those from the north as him and still they found nothing to go on about against him and had dare them more than once to go out and search anything against him,.

Its a typical Nigerian way to hate any sign of a good thing. Nigerians don't like good thing, in fact they prefer their greatest enemies. Its Nigerian way to judge people by their own standard.
So I don't find it difficult to believe when they feed on rumours and innuendoes over Buhari. If the man till date, still flys economic class like most of you, lives in a modest house in Daura, of which he has produced the evidence on how the small house was finance from his pension, no evidence of any foreign bank account till date despite OBJ/Ribadu looking but failed attempts.
Where is this money he was meant to have stolen and when is he going to spend it at his current age?

Replying IBB makes no sense at all, because people like IBB would die to have any mud to stick on Buhari, to justify himself and others like him that everybody is the same.
At the same time, you can never say never with human beings, so if any truthful evidence comes of any financial corruption against Buhari name, as usual with me, I won't be thrown out of my chair but I will be very surprised.
And I hope to see that day.
Nwannem, Chukwu gozie gi, you will live long, people like you is what we need in Igbo land today, many people on this forum hate Gen Buhari because of mere them say, and that he is an opponent to the GEJ. Buhari is not a saint likewise all of us as humans, but the idea of linking him to all the terroristic attacks in Nigeria today is highly un acceptable and image execution. He was only few months in power comparing to decades of his accusers today, but what are we facing today? The policies he rejected in act of patriotism was accepted and introduced against the advises of the educated economists we have in the country. Today where are we? IBB' accepted and introduced the western economical colonsizational policies continues in the present government of Nigeria. The Theorical and action less economical ideologies that only impoverish the masses as directed by the IMF and World Bank is in its highest duties in Nigeria today. We hear grammars, promises, assurances but no single visible proof of the actions. Let IBB come out with his proofs of Gen Buhari's loot, for we all have his right from the first SAP riot of 1989.Gulf war oil wind fall, and his last day stepping aside military escorted loot to his Minna mansion. My dear keep up your truthful and reasonable write ups. God love the truth Sayers.

Gen Muhamad Buhari, please quit the Nigerian Politics, it is not a must that you must be a president to make a change in Nigeria. Evil, Corruption and unpatriotic have shadowed the country.
Ayatollah Mudmutt Buhari Bin Laden of the Boko Haram terrorist bombing campaign fame does indeed have a criminal rap-sheet to make any jail-bird proud. Through a variety of tried and tested paperwork shuffles, Ayatollah Buhari exploited various government posts to embezzle Nigerian federal funds well into the multi-million dollar range, but then the dimwit quickly squandered it all on a series of failed but amusing toilet runs as a comedic relief candidate in Nigerian presidential elections, justly earning himself 15 minutes of fleeting fame, for being Nigeria's most prolific loser.

In answer to threats by fellow mega-embezzler and former head-of-state Ibrahim "Evil Genius" Babangida, that Ayatollah Buhari's bogus claim to innocence on industrial-scale graft charges is about to be debunked on the world stage, Buhari's only audible response is to splutter through his rodent teeth that he needs some time to think up a way to explain away his felonious past.

Give your response NOW, Buhari Bin Laden, you autistic buffoon ha ha ha.

PoliticsRe: Barth Nnaji Resigns (Or Sacked) From Power Ministry? by COOLDUN: 12:16pm On Aug 29, 2012
Gbawe: Indeed. The likes of Nnaji are good guys , too willing to serve their nation to the extent they ignore how their employer is an appointee of the system that revels in failure for the masses and stupendous wealth and overwhelming control for the few 'insiders' and "owners of Nigeria". Nnaji is supposed to defeat Atiku (Mikano) and other Vultures like Otedola when his last line of defense is a highly corrupt President sponsored into office to protect the interest of the "business as usual" crowd?

Prof Nnaji, you are a patriotic man but you were always fighting a losing battle as some of us concluded ages ago. You were a pawn in the wicked game vacuous opportunists deceived you with - all in the effort to pretend they are seeking solution while they deepen the problem. You are now a victim of the treachery of Nigerian politics that means corrupt Presidents, sponsored by saboteurs, deploy credible folks like you to add gloss to their regime while the real intention is that you never succeed. Just ask Tai Solarin et al.
You are an icon, people like you are few in this country and nairaland forum, you will hear how the tribalists bigots will respond to your great reasoning now with baseless and fact less comments, all in the name of , we voted for GEJ. GEJ is a product of corruption because he was sponsored by the corrupt cabals which he pretends to be fighting. We heard that they are returning the stolen money from the oil subsidy, is that all? Is the punishment of stealing and looting in Nigeria only returning of the stolen item or loot? Now they are returning the least aspect of their loot and the government is celebrating victory as if there is no penalty for the thieves in Nigeria.

Prof Barth Nnaji never knew the government he came down from the USA to work with. He didn't know that many of his type have gone. Many tried to be patriotic in the last two regimes and received the same treatment only to study the system and returned with the join them slogan, which we are seeing today, now they are being celebrated even when they lost an election in the biggest financial institution to a medical doctor. Now what we are hearing from them is rhetorical news without an action. Budget execution fluctuates sometime 52% and later under 14%. Great and patriot governors like Lt col Yohana Madaki, Col Ike Nwosu,Chris Ngige, and others were given boot out because of their patriotic natures.Prof Barth Nnaji, take heart because it is not easy to face the monstrous Goliaths in the Nigeria system today. They hold the yam and knife, they worship the gods of darkness so light is an abomination to them, you were recording a tremendous success which was a torn in their fleshs.Nigeria, is a land of darkness, an axis of evil, so people who are ready to make a change are the enemies of the people in power. Go and rest, your work and success in a little time of your tenure will speak for you. As for the federal government, your days are numbered God of light is ready now to make a change in the country. The storm of evil will consume all of you, the evil doers.

Expose Buhari that he stole 1 trillion and built houses under the ocean or what?
Don’t mind them jare, It is now he wants to expose Buhari after keeping quiet when Buhari openly told anyone that have any corruption evidence about him to come out. I am not supporting Buhari but it is time IBB and co should spare us this hypocrisy all in the name of national interest, So you know about Buhari’s corruption and kept quiet until now he has touched your chronic crimes against the country. Believe it or not Buhari/Idiagbon regime is the best thing that has happened to Nigeria. My advice to Gen Buhari is to leave the Nigeria Politics and stand as an elder statesman. He has been there before, the good Nigerians know that his patriotism cost him his leadership. CIA , succeeded in planting their man IBB to assist the IMF, World Bank to destroy Nigeria. Their economic colonization continues till today. IBB, you are evil and will continue to be until you repent and confess your sins. Leave Buhari alone everybody with his or her own sins, but he is more patriotic than you.

take dat: You are such a disgusting and dishonorable fella with this post of yours.Does Obama have anything to do with the economic melt down USA is passing through? No. But every American is looking up to him for solutions and lately Romney has been using that as a tool to campaign against him.It is only normal for people to look up to govt and criticize when they are yet to see results but perverted bigots like you who hate others view cos there are expressing thier thots dont know that.We might all be hurling insults on former leaders which is normal but you dont like it when they do the same for your principal.dont forget that some of these past leaders built refineries, constructed roads, built power plants, built universities etc but Nigerians demand more that is why we all condemn them.Pls quite acting a fool and grow up.
Thank you very much my dear, everything is tribalized in Nigeria, until we come out of these unpatriotic attitudes we can never go anywhere. What is wrong in criticizing the government? Many educated illiterates here mistake the duty of the people in power as their achievements, If, we don’t criticize our leaders, who then are we going to criticize? Those who study theories want us to believe in their propaganda and shallow ideologies. We are not practicing monarchy, where the king will slap us, while we jump up and say thank you your majesty. Why Gordon Brown didn’t win for his second tenure? The most criticized president on earth is the USA president, but you will never see his attacking dogs on pages of newspaper or online forums defending him. Many paid laptop rats has started giving them the best ministers awards. This country is widely divided into Ethnic, Religious, and Party lines which makes things more difficult for the right thinking ones. If an Hausa man raises an important topic, Igbo and Yorubas will see and reason it in a different way, likewise Yoruba or Igbo raises a topic, it will be tribalized. Some believe that they are most educated and informed, while others are not educated or informed at all, that is one of the reasons,my tribe Igbo produced 5 different Senate presidents in just 8years.Because of too much education and wisdom. If the critics of the president and his government performances are wrong with their points, then give us substantial evidences of his achievements, I agree that many things was not working before he came to power, what happened to the people who were there when those things got rotten? When someone agrees to be the president, he is prepared to work and not remind his subjects of his predecessors’ failures. No one has the monopoly of wisdom. Listen and respect others views, if want yours to be accepted and respected. I am not here in favor any politician, person, or persons but to learn and share ideas with reasonable people and not the dirty stinking bigots and attacking dogs.

Unfortunately he is now the scapegoat because a lot of pharmacies sell drugs without prescription. The pharmacist is the one with glasses not covering his face.
My dear I understand your feelings, to me alone the seller or the owner of the Pharmaceutical shop is not guilty unless the drug is illegal or contraband drug. Again if he knew the intention of the buyers before the crime was committed, if all these factors are well checked.investigated and deliberated and he is found guiltless then he will be freed. I want law to take its rightful course, God please let the innocent ones be freed. But the guilty ones be executed. Enough of reckless killings in Nigeria.

dedeike: @cooldun,

I tried so hard to read through your gibberish without a single paragraph. But I could see you have a problem with the trio of Diezani, Okonjo and SANUSI.
My question is, what wrong has these fellows done to you?

Diezani is safely coming across as the Best Petroluem minister ever. A lot has happened in the Petroluem sector under her watch.
She is the first woman who had the courage to confront the cabal and sought to close the window of corruption called subsidy, which has turned both politicians and civil servants alike to billionaires in Nigeria.
It was her policy directive that we need to start full deregulation by removing rsubsidy immediately. Unfortunately, the same cabal mobilised labour to confuse issues and retain subsidy. A time will come in the history of our great country when we will regret to have ever opposed that move.

Not done, she invited Ribadu to oversee govt revenue in the oil sector. She also opened up the sector to probe by AIG IMOUKHEDE.
Today, AIG has submitted his reports against all odds. Govt is now implementing the report and sanctioning erring marketers thus leading to protests and strikes.

For the first time in the history of this country, we have seen influential people in the country being charged to court for subsidy fraud.

We are seeing oil marketers refund stolen oil money.
We are seeing a govt insist on punishing oil markerters who were indicted for major infractions in the subsidy regime.
Diezani is undertaking the refurbishment of Refineries and some will be due by November. She has also entered into PPP with VULCAN ENERGY for construction of new refineries.
Diezani braced the odds to formulate the new comprehensive PIB which is acclaimed by all to be the much needed legislation for the overhaul of the oil sector.

Under her watch, we have hit the highest record of 2.7MBPD in oil production.
Under her watch, she has executed the gas to power plan which is meant to supply gas to the newly refurbished power stations.

Sincere 9gerian: This shows how foolish some Nigerians could be. You'r comparing governing a state of few millions of people with governing of the whole country. Did Fashola and Oshiomole have boko haram and other obstacles to deal with? Moreover, the performance of Fashola and Oshiomole did not come to light in their first year in office. Jonathan is has spent just about 14months in power, from 2014 we can compare notes on his achievements. Already power supply is stabilising
You have shown the level of your insanity and myopic through your comment, was he not a governor? What did he achieve then? If you are intelligent enough you would have known that if someone couldn’t perform as governor he will not perform as a president. Was he not a governor before became the president? Mr.Socretes , 14 months is a not 14days ok, what, I was saying is for him to be active and not an orator, if you really understand words correctly. A working and busy man never have time to respond to critics. Democracy gives space for criticism ok, many succeeded American presidents performed marvelously well, through learning from their critics and putting their corrections into actions which yielded good fruits to their achievements. No one can please all but at least try to please substantial amount of people. Mr Solomon of the nairaland forum, you are the one doing harm to GEJ, than his critics, because you a hypocrites who always mislead their victim and come back to blame them later. One thing most of these Nigerian rulers fail to understand is that Nigerians are the most patient and appreciative people on earth. Adding to it intelligence, when you are doing well you will be applauded; likewise when you are not doing well you will be criticized , so you shouldn’t expect people who sacrificed their votes for you, to be singing praises to you when your administrative engine is not accelerative than the snail movement. From your statement about when you were governor of Bayelsa state have shown that you have not been the listening ruler, as you, boastfully advised your cabinet to block their ears. Now we can see why you do not give a damn to declare your assets as required by the law and the constitution of the country. We have heard a lot of your talking, many performing governors like Owelle Rochas Okorocha, Babatunde Fashiola, Adams Oshiomole, Akpabio,Iroko Mimiko, are not centuries in their posts. It doesn’t take centuries to make changes and impacts. Stop your Finance Minister from over introducing the IMF and World Bank impoverish policies in Nigeria, IBB deceived Nigerians with these grammatical fraudulent economical ideologies that destroyed the middle class status of Nigeria, and made it for only two groups, the Richest and the Poorest status. Check your petroleum minister. Central bank governor is an Emperor on his own. Mr. President, action speaks louder than words. For Speeches I score you 99% but for action I score 1%. Improve or stop talking. You choosed to be the president , no one forced you, if you find it tough and beyond your capacity then you can throw in a towel than lamenting.

Why is it that now, it is being generalized and people making issues out of it. I think cyntia's death is more than what we are hearing on the tv or reading from else where. People, wake-up. Look at the name of the drug? Its so fishy to just believe its a facebook stuff. Damn!!!
Thank you my dear, now every finger is pointing at the social sites eg Facebook as the connecting sources of the death of this young girl, We in Nigeria know it very well that many people have killed their girlfriends, wives, husbands, relations, friends, business partners, in this form even before the coming of these social sites. Social sites, mostly facebook has done more good than what people are about to paint it with. Many lost families has been reunited through Facebook and other social sites. Anyone trying to politicize this sad incident by pointing at Facebook/other social sites is an anti development/civilization. I hope they are not trying to turn Nigeria, to the place where 17 people were slaughtered because they attended a party.Facebook did not force the innocent girl to visit her killers, what about the mobile phone operators that transmitted their calls? Let the death of this innocent girl teach us a lesson and not to look for a scape goat. Things like this happen in many countries but they learn teach, and work through it. I heard a politician recently complaining of the Facebook and other social sites for allowing people to air their views about their government. Maybe they are regretting making the communication available to all Nigerians, i am very sorry it is too late to reverse the hand of a clock.Facebook, social sites, and mobile phones have come to stay. Leave facebook/social sites alone. Crime has been in Nigeria before their arrival. Stop chasing shadow.

Very good and commendable job by the Nigerian Police Force, I would like you to extend this job towards the evil forests in Nigeria, where many innocent Nigerians have met their untimely deaths in the hands of the ritual killers. These forests exist in many places like Ogun,Lagos,Benin Ore axis, Asaba, Isialangwa, Omagwa , Try to comb these areas, take the descriptions from the lucky escapees and fish out these evil men who deal on their fellow human parts for living. I know that my post might be blocked. Nigeria Police thank you very much for this gallant job. Jerry Rawlings of Ghana changed his country with action and not by words.GEJ is not in control take it or leave it. Any performance that is not impacting on the lives of the masses is useless, let us tell ourselves the truth, the only people who see the critics of Mr. President as a crime are tribalists/bigots. I don't believe in a tribe, religion, party, but I believe in an action man that can make a change and not an orator. All the things he mentioned as an achievement of the Mr. President are his duties and not achievements. If Nigerians can reason well, we would have known that most of the campaign promises are our necessities and not a pleasure or gesture, eg, Power, Education, Health, Road, Agricuture, etc.It is the duty of the president to change the living standard of his people, not God from the heaven.Afteall he was the one who choose to rule, no one forced him, why should his duties be celebrated as achievements? The problem of the country is not the rulers but the ruled who are contented with nothing. This is what we will be hearing till 2015.If a clean, free and fair election will be conducted in Nigeria.GEJ will not win my vote. I don't know of you.

D sage: I disagreed with you,I doubt if a Yoruba guy can raised his hand at his mother for failure to prepared his meals.
Mr. man stop that crap, there are wayward people in any tribe, I have seen an area boy that beat his mother into comma at Isale eko Lagos .because of money to smoke Gbana, No reasonable fellow will support any one that beats his/her mother for any reason, but if you come here to defend your yoruba tribe then you are a bigot. If you reside at Lagos Island you will agree with me that, yoruba has the highest rate of domestic violence in Africa. We should stop tribalizing every comment on this forum. From all indication I have seen that this Nairaland is mainly created for blackmailing and not for reasonings.Every topic here is to expose the Igbo faults and then make the yorubas saints. Divide and rule virus is still working in your bloods you yorubas. Anytime the Northerners have a secrete plan, they will sponsor the weak tribe to flame up nonsense arguments which will occupy the minds of the Southerners while they buy enough time to harness their plots. I am very sorry for people like you in this country. Why are you still living with the bad tribe in your country? yoruba Saints answer this question.

He is a disgrace to the soceity. He would have been asked how much he gave to his mother for cooking when he was leaving the house? This is the kind of animals that bring bad image to the Igbo tribe. If he is found guilty let him be sent to many years in jail, so that others can learn from him. In this present economic hardship in Nigeria someone is beating his mother for not cooking. Even if it the people that voted 1 billion naira for their feeding alone, can someone beat their wives for not cooking? This animal should be taught a lesson. Animal in human skin. Ewu afo nri.
The frontpage sef don tire for biafrans nefarious activities.Later, they would tell us that biafra republic was god's promiseland but from what i have seen so far, biafra would have been a land of kidnapping, armed robbery, baby industries, forgery,ra''p''e and other devilish acts.infact, biafra would have been lucifer bedroom.
Baby, I hope you have suckled your feeding bottle this night. I do hope your mother did not forget wearing you, your pampers. Oh sorry you are under bridge right, what I see from your comment Mr Area boy is stupidity and jealousy. What do you have in your paradise country of Nigeria today? You are judging an unborn child, blind and slowpoke. Your thug father described your Nigeria, as a mere geographical expression, remove the log of wood in your eyes before you talk of a dust in another man’s eye. With all you mentioned, Biafra would still be better than your Nigeria. People like you supposed to be in a zoo, for touristic expeditions. Area boy, stop taking Gbana, it is not good for you. Your Nigeria today is an AXIS OF EVIL.
