solomon111: Many govt parastals and even private companies are already using the made in Nigeria vehicles as a matter of policy.
GEJ has also promised to replace FG cars with made in Nigeria ones.

Ok , lets wait until he does that, then we can follow, did he make the promise before or after his wife imported the BMW cars with waivers?

I am not an economist, just an average guy with a head and functioning cerebrum. I have highlighted all your key notes but all what you wrote are just speculations, complains and rants summed up from cheer bitterness, frustration and an unwillingness to struggle. You don't even have an opinion to share, you're just hating on everything.

Go get help bro, you're frustrated.

If you really read my comment well you would see that I never insulted you in anyway, but from your comment I have come to know your age limit and educational level. My comment is well understood by the people with high level of understanding and comprehensive abilities.
You and your types will never stop me from saying what I know at the right time and place.

Frustration is a word that is popularized by the past and present governments in Nigeria, due to their myopic and shallow understanding of the basic economical policies. There is big difference between a text book economical ideologies and practical economical ideologies.

A country is made for everyone both, big, small, rich, poor, strong and weak; the people we are copying are protecting everyone in their societies, while our rulers protect themselves and cronies alone. I can see clearly that you are well placed and favored, as you can ascertain the level of every commenter on this forum. Yes I am not well placed or paid agent like you, that is why I am always against any policy that would bring more harm to me and my family.

You are not an economist but you are everywhere on this thread insulting people that made constructive comments , because you are benefitting from the government, not everyone is opportuned like you, so leave us to say our mind.

Since this present administration came into power, you people see anyone that opposed your ill timed policies/laws as opposition and anti administration, but that is a big lie, we argue to learn, as we disagree to agree. I am an Igbo man from Orlu in Imo state , I personally campaigned for GEJ, and won many voters for him, based on his campaign promises and assurance of reshaping the country, which I have not seen since he was elected and sworn in, I have my personal opinion too to criticize any of his policy that will affect me and my people that voted for him, if it makes me a frustrated man, there is no problem, what I know is that I still have that my right and senses of reasoning to decide on who to vote for in 2015.

I know my single vote might not count, but it will surely satisfy my conscience to vote for who his/her agents would not see me as a frustrated man.

I have a word for you, save your paid wealth well, because all the people who benefitted from people like Saddam Hussien, Moamar Ghadafi, Laurent Gbagbo, Ferdinand Marcus, Idi Amin, Samuel Doe, Kamuzu Banda, Milton Obote, Hosni Mubarak, Ben Ali, Adulf Hitler, are no longer there today.

Enjoy yourself.

On the contrary, it is you who have been getting high on cheap drugs.

You can't understand that importing cars into the country will kill our own Auto mobile industry that has just began springing up and needs all the support they can get from the Govt to grow.

You cannot understand that importing finished cars from America means, the American Auto Mobile Industry gets to produce more cars to meet their demand, and to meet their demands, they have to employ more workers. (That is we are importing finished goods but exporting our jobs)

You don't understand that over 2000 materials are used to produce cars (Textiles, wires, carbon, paper, leather etc). Importing cars from America means you are only enriching their Textiles, wires, carbon, paper, leather industries too. Products that we have here in Nigeria that would have had a ripple effect on the economy.

You don't know that the ban will force Toyota, Honda etc that have a market in Nigeria and know what they're going to loose if the ban is in effect to open their assembling parts here.

You don't know that opening an assembling port here doesn't mean that they would import everything and just assemble here but they will import the major engines and stuff but patronize our textiles and wires and other minor products here.

I can go on and on and on... But i will love you to look at yourself now and tell me you're not high when you wrote that nonsense. Tomorrow you will be the one shouting "NO JOB FOR NIGERIA" ewu gambia.

My friend spare us this too know economical sermon, how can you throw away your old cloths without having a tailor that will sew new ones for you? No matter how you polish your logic, there is no time the newly built car manufacturing companies would tackle the unemployment predicaments of Nigeria over night.

There are many minor companies we need to stand on our feet first before these giant ones, which we have not done anything about them, not to talk about car manufacturing. I know you are one of those people who always accuse Nigerians of impatience whenever we complain of what we supposed to have since our independence. But now you are preaching for patience for a project that would go like other ones in the past.

By the way how many of these your car manufacturing companies have even secured a plot of land, as their company sites? Talk less of construction of the car companies plants. I don’t how old you are, I would have asked you how many of these honey coated tongued developmental projects that has ever worked out since you heard about them.

No, one is against the competition of the cars with the western world, but let it be done gradually; Nigerians are sick and tired of fake economical jargons. The most basic live amenities which many poor countries have are still lacking in Nigeria, but all we are after is elephant projects that never work out. Our rulers, families, friends and cronies still jet out of the country for minor head ace treatments, while our hospitals and doctors are turned to a mere consultation houses and death traps. When would the government ban the oversea treatments for the rulers? Are we not up to having standard hospitals which would compete with the western countries?

Nigeria, president was flown to Saudi Arabia for medical treatment, while the Saudi King who was also sick then was flown to the United States of America for treatment also, is it not shameful? Everyday new presidential jet is added to the fleet of un economical importance presidential jets, why can’t Nigeria ban the importation of the private jets also and bring the manufacturing companies to build their plants in Nigeria?

Common petrol we use in Nigeria is imported, while we have four good for nothing refineries, are we not supposed to be exporting refined petrol which is easier than manufactured cars?

My friend, let us stand up first before we think of running, someone rightly said that the word patience in Nigeria is only meant for the masses and not the rulers that supposed to show/live by example.

I have seen your level of patriotism, but let me tell you; the policy is and will not be what you are made to believe by these politicians who speak with both sides of their mouths. Stop defending what you will, one day regret wasting your time and energy for. We have heard enough of these unrealistic economical trashes. Unless you are one of them.

The much talked privatization policy only favored few cabals in Nigeria. I don’t support arguing with insults, but don’t also buy fake/false economical logics. Thank you.

cold:
The tariff introduction should be gradual but not scrapped in its entirety. We can't continue to think of the pain in the short run, rather the benefits in the long term. That's how those countries we so much love to buy their used cars from got to where the are today

I hear you and your economical logic, we should think of a long term benefit like we did to the SAP right? The SAP policy we were told that would last for only 2 years is now 3 decades without any reasonable profit to show for it. A, tiny country like Mauritius adopted the same SAP policy for only 2 years, and is enjoying the dividends now while we are starving to death from the chronic corruption which it brought to the gullible Nigerians who believe every political/economical jargon from the politicians.

Have you seen a country where the things they don’t produce are banned totally except Nigeria? Even the developed countries like USA, GERMANY, JAPAN, UK, ITALY, FRANCE, SPAIN, Etc that produce all the good cars in the world still import fairly used cars for people who prefer them, and Nigeria that couldn’t even manage ordinary a Peugeot assembly plant at Kaduna is now boasting of banning fairly used cars.

If the car companies will work and substitute the fairly used cars in Nigeria, it, is NOT in this century. Let us tell ourselves the truth and stop supporting based on the person, party, tribe and religion of the person in power.

Nigeria, in their act of ill economical introductions have made our neighboring countries rich by the activities of the smugglers, I support the policy that suggests the scrapping of the policy until we have steady power that will help the car manufacturing companies to function well with much productions and not just to create another Dangotes/Adenugas as regards to the monopoly of business in Nigeria .

For your question, the new FIFA rules says that any player that played in any Under age category for any country , can still switch over to another country at the senior level, As long as the player has not played in any national engagement with the former country.

This new law makes it possible for any player/players that played in U-16,U-21,U-23 , but if the player played in any national team's match even friendly, he is no longer eligible to play for another national team. This is all i know about your question, I believe that some people might know more of it.

Don't mind them the great Edison Arantes do Nascimento, a.k.a Pele was born on 23 October 1940 played for the Brazil national team in the world cup in Sweden in june 1958 at the age of 17, which i know that Kelechi Ihenacho is now or nearly to, he can also do better in the world cup where he will play with his seniors with less burden on his shoulders. Abedi Ayew Pele of Ghana played for the Ghana Black Stars at the age of 16/17 , but in Nigeria we know more than knowledge itself. Thank you my dear.

Is this the only way you can reason? Oh I’m very sorry for the country you come from. Who is Kate Henshaw to order the guy to stop when his time to perform has not finished? From the beginning they never allowed the guy to relax, it seems that the guy was rejected on arrival.

I know Kate Henshaw as an average opportuned actress in Nigeria and not a musician that is supposed to be a judge in this musical contest. The two Hippopotamus also don't merit being there; they succumbed to her nasty, rude and unprofessional attitude, just to please her because they know what they are looking for from her.

That is what you get from a country where triangular pegs are put in the round holes, they were expecting the Late Michael Jackson to wake up and sing in their shabby ill organized contest.

I really commend the guy for his courageous and outspokenness, he did well to give it back to those village square comedians/judges.

Don't be surprised that this guy might turn out to be more successful musician tomorrow , while the arrangee winner will end up as a backup artist.

Legend Bright Chimezie of Zigima band was humiliated by many producers, before he made it as a patient and determined musician.

I advice this insulted guy not to relent and face his musical career with prayer and hard work, sky will be his limit tomorrow. A man, who passed in the subject Bill Gate failed, later became his manager in his Microsoft business.

Gear up brother, you can still make it in life without Nigeria got Talents contest. God bless and guide you.

As for you that is supporting this evil, try to change before you destroy yourself by being an evil supporter. Kate and her Hippopotamus co judges are BIG CLOWNS.

Or av he killed anyone during his robberies? Those OGA's at d top are stealing BILLIONS of naira av they been sentenced to death? I jus pray GOD help us in dis country Nigeria..

See them, na them be these, did i hear you say poor boy? why didn't u go and kill the corrupt Local Government Chairman? yes the corrupt LG Chairman deserve to die when you and i decide to take back our rights as citizens of this country, but till then. Let any caught, confirmed, and duly tried and convicted armed robber be publicly executed.

I will advise you to trace the origin of that corrupt LG Chairman you will see that he graduated from his mother's pot of soup, petit stealing, armed robbery to LG Chairman.

Recently we read how armed robbers robbed a young girl r-apped her before killing her, all of us cried and called for the heads of the armed robbers, today an armed robber is convicted and sentenced to death, we are blaming the court and law, by always repeating one comment about corrupt government officials. The level of hypocorism in Nigeria will make this country never to move an inch in terms of development.

When an Igbo man is caught in corruption, my people will say that he is not the first criminal and give instances. When an Hausa man is caught his people will accuse the government in power for witch hunting the Huasas because they are no longer in power, with examples.

When Yoruba man is caught, his people would say because he is from the opposition party, and too educated, they would also give an example.

There is no logical point to justify crime; armed robbers are so heartless to be left off hook no matter how little their crime might look like. Some said that he robbed but didn't kill as if the gun he robbed was with water and not bullet. Forgetting that without gun, armed robbers can never overpower their victims.

Nigerians should shut up and face the truth about things in Nigeria problem. The level of confusion is too much for us honestly.

Keep on pointing fingers, until armed robbers break into your house, point gun at your head and order you to climb on top of your mother, sister, daughter, relative. or your father, brother, son, relative to mount on you, then you will come online and bleat like a Charismas goat.

Chrisx1x: Arm robbery...at gun point..abeg why d judge nor sentence am to firing squard.hanging nor fit am..if arm robber don do u b4,u go knw why i dey bitter against them

I support you billion %, armed robbers deserve no pity, i don't want to be their victims before i will know how heartless they are. Those condemning capital punishment are just wasting their times. When this law was passed under Gen Yakubu Gowon, armed robbers were not as bad/many as they are now. But since the government of IBB introduced the use of armed robbers as personal Thugs and passed them on to the OBJ civilian government who changed their name to PA, Personal Assistants the level of armed Robbery skyrocketed to the mars planet.

During the Buhari/Idiagbon regime, armed robbers were being executed in their respective villages, to deter others, i could remember one that was killed in my neighboring village, my father took all of us his children there, to put fear into our minds. Throughout that period till today that memory is still in my heart. As i saw a healthy man who talked greeted his family members and friends, confessed and warned people to stay off from crimes, being shredded by bullets of the hardened military men.

When we got home that day coupling with the heavy rain that fell that day after the execution, our father called us all and asked us what we learnt and our minds towards what we saw in the day, we all told him that crime/armed robbery/stealing is not good for any one. He thanked us and advised us be poor than being known as rouges, he said that if that executed robber was innocent that our community and his would have overpowered the soldiers and rescued him, but as a guilty man, that everyone was powerless and weak to fight for him.

Being a last born i used to sleep in the bed with my mother, i remembered covering my face throughout the night with my mother's cloths and never opened my eyes till the morning as i was thinking that the dead robber was standing in my front. He was a well known man, but never knew he was an armed robber then.

That time was when moral values was still respected in our societies, but today what do we have shameless and Moralese beasts, who are contended with evil/crimes and oppression we are witnessing in our societies today. That is why a well known armed robber is widely celebrated because he/she is used to rig elections, by carrying ballot boxes, fighting, intimidating, and killing of the opposite political opponents of his/her political god fathers. When he is caught only a phone call from his Oga at the top, he would be released while the police officers that arrested him or her would be in great trouble. Then a hunter would become hunted.

When he comes home to his/her village you will see how gullible people would be celebrating him/her, hailing and prostrating, the village chief will give him/her chieftaincy title. The next time you will see him/her pasting posters round the town as a Politcian, rig the election be the looter people are calling for their heads while condemning the execution of the armed robbers who are under graduates of Looting Science.

If he was caught in the act, proved beyond reasonable doubt, tried and convicted in the crime, let him be publicly executed, and let the armed robbers human right /anti capital punishment campaigners pull down the sky.

Best campaigner is one who campaigns against crime. Let him be executed before he graduates to a Looter/corrupt politician.
Family / Re: Advice On How To Annul A Traditional Marriage by COOLDUN: 4:44pm On Nov 26, 2013
My dear your story is so touchy, I honestly sympathize with your sister for marrying another woman’s husband, because if he is her husband he wouldn’t have had the strength to raise his hands on her.

Both you, your sister and family should not be blamed for this, the whole blame should go to LOVE who is always blind and so misleading.
I don’t care to know the reason of their quarrel, but only concerned of the beating, no man in his right sense should raise a hand on his wife for any reason.

The two options you have to call off the marriage are these, go to the customary court/keep your sister to your house and force you’re in laws to collect their bride price or forfeit it because he has been sleeping with your sister.

The rate of India Hemp smokers and Drug abusers we have in our society today is alarming, when a hungry man finishes smoking Hemp he would go and lure an innocent girl into love/marriage, when he is tired of the girl after destroying her freshness with his condemned oil, he will resort into beating her to force her out of his home, so that he should go for another innocent prey.

Or you save sufficient amount of money for your sister’s funeral, but then do not expect my condolence ok.

The life of your sister is far better than marriage my dear, focus on the safety of your sister now than her next marriage. Marriage is not do or die.
A living ugliest village Mgbeke is far better than a dead beauty queen. Save your sister’s life now, or expect condolence messages soon.

A Woman/wife beater can never change but graduates from hand beating to weapon beating. God don’t make a wrong marriage to workout, because he created every woman her own husband. Thank you.

Why do I say this? Pls, let's face the truth, truth is the Igbos are the main people encouraging the current corrupt government to do as it wishes. This is the bottom line. Yesterday, it was the North encouraging their sons to plunder the country as they wish, today it is the East. If Govt doesn't feel pressure from every angle of the country they will never do whats right.

Do not tribalize this good thread now, yesterday was Hausas, Now is Igbos, what about the years before Yaradua/ Goodluck became presidents? You excluded your tribe and mentioned others. The same problem that was mentioned in this thread is what you are showcasing here while DUMMIES like you clicked Like to your posted TRASH.

As this great leader Thabo Mbeki rightly said, we are all involved in the mess we find ourselves, every tribe is involved, including you and i, posterity will judge you and i, for not preparing a good future for children and future generations to come.

Hmmmmm, standard of education are fallen in Nigeria cos of so many factors
(1) social activites , imagine a student that cannot define a " Noun " but has about 3pages of exercise books of 2go friends and can name 90% of them without looking the books, etc
(2) parent, some of our parent have a fault, by not forcing their children/ward to do what is right, i remeber a neigbhour that fails to buy books for his child after 2months holiday and later he was saying that he does not know that the school has resume.
(3) Govt policy: that fails to yield positive result
(4) School Mgt and Teachers
(5) student itself that fails to utilize the little resoures that are available.

Wow very good one, keep it up .

caprini: kai Amunike and his hot temper again?...I remember vividly how he harassed an army officers wife at apongbon Lagos island traffic with his Benz slk coupe unknowingly, and got the beating of his life in the late 90,s.This chap should go for anger management.

You are liar , it was the wife of the army officer that mistook Amuneke as a fraud star because of his BMW 7 series when she crashed Amuneke’s car under the Apongbon bridge, but later raised alarm as a victim, then I was going to the Atlantic Travel Agency in Bankole street to buy my tciket , I was present that day, when the Area boys recognized Amuneke , they pounced on the woman and the few army guys who fled and left the hapless woman, the woman even later begged Amunke and demanded for his complementary card. Amuneke as an Orlie boy, and Gaskia college Badia Ijora student is well known in Lagos.

If you know Emnanuel Amuneke very well you wouldn’t have described him as a hot tempered man. He is one of the gentlest men I have ever come across in my life, though no one is perfect.

Coming to the Ihenacho and his choice, my only advice to him is to read the history of Nigeria footballers, he is not better than Philip Osondu, let him ask where Philip Osondu is today. It is a dream of every upcoming footballer to make it bigger in Europe, and this is the main reason why the greedy and shylock foreign agents always catch them napping. Remember that it is what you desperately need that is used to dupe you.

My advice to Emmanuel Amuneke is trade with caution so that he would not be seen as a greedy man, which I know him for not being one. He was once in this transfer tussle during his playing days, we all are life witnesses of how his transfer to the Sporting Lisbon was intervened by the FIFA. I know that he doesn’t want his kid brother Ihenacho to go through that hard time too.

As for those people calling him names, or seeing him as a poor man, mind you that the money Amuneke made while playing for Zamelk of Egypt alone is capable of sustaining his family forever. He is such a gentle man who keep very low profile because of his family background. Most of his collegues then who allowed the press to run their lives for them are beggars today, even those they claimed that had private jet today feed from hand to mouth.

He should apologize to the American man as he admitted being rude to the man, that sounded so unprofessional to a man of his caliber; there are many ways to send messages into peoples’ ears in a most civilized manners not by violence. Amuneke was attacked by the army, but later he was victorious through the help of the area boys. The army officer’s wife later fall for him, who no like a star?

These apes that believe that their ancestor fell down from the sky with a broom and calabash will never wake up and face the realities of the 21st century. They are still living in the 1st century, while still claiming to be educated, I wonder how these people would have been, if they were not educated with a confiscated money from one section of the country.

Why in this modern time someone is wasting the lives of innocent people in the name of money ritual? Who told them that money ritual is real? Though if a tribe’s existence is based on lie/fable stories, which all of the people believe to an extend that it is written in the history books , why won’t they believe it, even if they were told that their grandfathers were transformed from women to men.

They have changed from diverting innocent bus travelers in their cities to their evil forests to the robbing of newly born babies in the hospitals.

Now I can believe a testimony of One of the escaped victims of the evil forest ritualists wrote how he and co army officer in the bus with guns overpowered ritualists/agents and slaughtered them including their village partners in rituals who always pretend to be helpers to the lucky escaped victims; he said that he and the co army officer pretended to be asleep when they blew their powdered substance in the bus, and made sure that they were proved beyond reasonable doubt that they were ritualists, when they were about to enter into the Sagamu/Lagos express way evil forest, when the bus slowed down because of the bad road, the army officer blew off the driver’s head which made the bus to fell in a ditch, before the other ritualists could know it they have surrendered them with their guns, shooting them on their heads, and tortured the remaining who pointed at the other females patners in the bus that pretended to be victims too. While they were toturing them they started showing them their villagers co ritualists too.

The army guys said that if they took them to the authorities they would be freed by their high placed patronizers so they decided to waste the ones they caught and freed the genuine passengers in the bus and fled the scene too.

I can see that the bus travelers are wiser and well prepared nowadays, that is why they have resorted to invading the hospitals.

I believe that this has made them to change their method by invading the hospitals in their towns, as foolish gullible people they are. Why should a man kill his fellow human being for money ritual? And their people would be claiming that other section of the country is desperate for money?

I would advise other people to leave these clowns to continue killing/wasting their new generation by killing them for senseless reasons so that they will seize to exist very soon. Keep on killing yourselves and point your fingers at other people.

Nairaland / General / Re: Soldiers Harass Civilians For Putting On Camouflage by COOLDUN: 4:40pm On Nov 18, 2013
To be frank with you I have not seen people like Nigerians in my entire life, how can someone insult the people he/she is not better than? Imagine someone with incorrect spellings and poor language skill insulting all the Nigerian army as illiterates. Between this fellow and the military guys he/she was insulting who is an illiterate now? He/she is the one to me.

Coming to the wearing of military camouflage, it is a well known law in Nigeria that a civilian should not put on any dress in the color or making of the military or security personnel, it is not today the law has been in place.

This law was made in order to avoid daunting the image of the Military/security personnel by the dubious fellows and criminals, who sometimes dressed like that to defraud or humiliate innocent citizens. This law is made to protect you and I, and not for intimidation as some people are seeing it.
That other countries are wearing camouflage as their daily dressings or school uniforms does never make it compulsory that Nigerians should follow them, because we are not much law abided. When you give us an inch we take a yard, when you give us a yard we take miles, so let the law be there.

If anyone wants to wear military uniform/camouflage let the fellow follow the right channel by enrolling in one of the military bodies in Nigeria, so that you can wear the camouflage tire, but if you are not a soldier for now, please stay clear from camouflages. The mod was very lucky that the army personnel that stripped you were in a very happy mood, maybe he just newly collected his monthly salary or promoted, otherwise you would have not been here now complaining and calling them names.

Nigerians should try to be conversant with the laws and prohibited things in the country, so that we should know how to respect our laws than always claiming victims ,even when we are guilty.

For those of you who are mentioning countries that are wearing military camouflages to churches/mosques, discos, know it today that military camouflage of any color is prohibited in Nigeria, the offence is punishable by VIP TREATMENT or Lighter option of PUBLIC PULLOUT. Be warned all!!

Politics / Re: Nigeria Would Have Disintegrated But For Prayers — Jonathan by COOLDUN: 2:36pm On Nov 11, 2013
To me mr president and his prayer warriors fail this one, if God is answering the prayers of elites and few well placed ones and keep this false country one, means that God doesn’t like Nigeria.

The only people praying for this geographical expression to remain one are the benefactors of its rottenness. It is like the prayers of business owners praying for the success of their business empire.

GEJ, that I campaigned and voted for you, will not make me to swallow your smelling farts in the name of zombiyic support. Your prayers for the Unity of Nigeria is never a sign of love and patriotism but for your selfish interests. No one would like to loose from where he eats from.

From your looting and the over bloated pension as an ex president of Nigeria alone, will make you to kill anyone that advises you to break up Nigeria.

The God I serve says that the prayer of a sinner is an abomination in his sight. Let me tell you that God does not answer every prayer. Sometimes Satan does something that looks like it is done by God.

Nigeria, as a country is lie and lie comes from satan so it is satan that is keeping Nigeria together and NOT GOD. God will rise any moment from now to separate chaffs from the grains. Thank you.

If any KIDNAPPER, is caught in action or proved beyond reasonable doubt to be a KIDNAPPER. HE/SHE, should be killed without wasting any single minute. Those clamoring for their right to live should use themselves or their loved ones to replace any caught kidnapper so that we shall have another Jesus that died for the sinners. Kill them one hand.

nora544: The problem is the society in nigeria, and to kill then brings nothing.

Look in America they have also in many states the death penalty and did it bring something.

We here in europa didnot have it.

The people have to start to fight against corruption.
The pastor have to change what they preach not about getting rich quick with sowing seed and tithing and harvest money..... they have to preach about what it means to be a right christian, about don't steal, don't make kidnapping, don't rob but not preaching when you dinot tithe you will rob God.

When this will happen than nigeria can change, than the youth in this country will have a future.

European tried it before they changed their laws; let us try it now maybe later we might change it like the Europeans, what failed in Europe might workout in Nigeria. After all many policies that succeeded in the European countries failed woefully in Nigeria when they were tried.

Nigeria, is opposite of the Western people, I believe killing the confirmed Kidnappers will succeed in Nigeria, enough of you these human right Campaigners on Nairaland forum.

lovat:
Two wrongs don't make a right. Killing them won't stop kidnapping rather a more pragmatic approach like giving them longer sentences and those ones that show remorse on the long run will be paroled and reintegrated back to the society.

Thank you very much, your suggestion is very good, but let us do that when you fall victim to them or any of your dearly ones, then we should send them to the skill acquisition centers at the Asians /European countries where they will be changed to pastors, imams, reverends ,and nuns, when they come back ok. But right now let the ones caught in action and proved beyond reasonable doubts to be KIDNAPPERS be killed.

Justicemy: dis is pure jungle justice

Big lie, what do you call their kidnapping activities? You mean they should be pampered while they continue to waste innocent lives? Park your human right campaign one side.

Let those of you who miraculously escaped from the security personnel try to repent and sin no more. The next trial might not be so. Channel your human right campaign pretence towards advising your collegues to quit now. CRIME IS BAD, NO MATTER THE CAUSE!!.

frankly disgusting if this is the mentality of you women
you marry a powerful man, knowing full well he is a notorious womanizer then start to complain after the fact
you complain about being abused in a marriage, but still prefer a gilded cage to freedom
you cannot have it both ways - either leave and live as a normal nigerian, or suck it up and stop spamming the rest of nigeria
if she doesn't want to end the marriage, then she should shut up.

if the guy was a regular guy she would have left 'unceremoniously' long ago

No mind them, the woman in question is a flirt too who left her old school fiancée for this money bag politician, to me she sold it, the same amount she bought it simple. I have come to know what my father told me about women many years ago. They are the loudest killers and complainants. They bite you while they weep more than you.

She knows that her husband is a womanizer and she fronted her sister to him, do you keep rat to secure a fish? No, she is a gold digger that got what she bargained for. I don't have any pity for her. She wants to travel out and return back to cry wolf again. Women are really woe unto men.

Family / Re: Banned From Speaking My Language To My Baby by COOLDUN: 2:08pm On Nov 10, 2013
Your husband is right as you confessed not speaking your language fluently; this might be his reason so that you will not teach your children bad Yoruba language. Like Great Fela Kuti said that Teacher don't teach me Nonsense !!

I suggest you beg him to allow you to teach them but not to dominate and assimilate them because the children are more Essan than Yoruba.

I know many of my brother’s children born in Yoruba land, who don’t know how to speak our native language. You don’t have to dominate the children because that is what I am sensing here. Nigeria children follow father and not mother. They're your children but their father's surname and not yours.

You have to beg your husband and not force him, because he has the upper hand on your children. In my tribe we tell people to answer their father’s name and not their mother’s name. Only bastardds that answer their mother’s name. Thank you.
