Oakbend16: Good morning e-family compliments of the season to you all. Please I need advise on a grossly disturbing issue which goes thus:
We got a guy to help process WAEC verification and send to WES on behalf of my wife, brother and his wife, unknown to us the guy collected the money but got waec letter head and forged signatures on the verification.
My brother's wife's verification scaled through, my wife's own is still pending but my brother's own was rejected because waec notified wes that it was not authentic. He has however verified his first degree and foreign masters degree.

My suggestion to him is to register with wes again and start the process all over again and personally process the waec verification and re-send to wes to correct the negative reporthings.
Has anyone had a similar issue? How was it handled?

He should forget about WES and use ICES and evaluate only his foreign Master's. But if WES has reported the case to IRCC, then your brother needs to sort it out with WES bedore going further.
I am new and about to start my Canada waka , I really need help on how to go about it. I already have an account with WES, and entered my degree and NECO.
I want to know if at the time I need to do ECA, am I doing for the for my degree and NECO. Or should I take the NECO off, so I will be evaluating only the B.Sc degree.
NormalThing: I intend doing with iqas. As I see they do not request this waec scratch card thingy. However why do people still go for Wes (knowing you have to go through the waec hassle) Am I missing anything?
If you plan to use the ECA in 5 month's time or you've LLB, then use IQAS, otherwise use ICES.
1. How do I apply if I don't want to claim points for a sibling in Canada without lying? Will I get the option to say I don't want to claim points during application or I must lie and say I don't have a sibling?
2. How do l claim one year NYSC work experience since one month was spent in camp, can I ask PPA to give me letter that covers camp? is it acceptable?
Will appreciate responses please, didn't find explanation on page 1.
1. When applying fill NO to sibling in Canada. Get ITA and when you want to submit your application, write LOE and give reason(s) why you dont want to claim points from your sibling in Canada.
2. Your NYSC is 1 yr. Check your discharge cert for confirmation.
brainy4oli: I know people are gonna try to be diplomatic with you and be like, you can still get it, and stuff like 'try and get a job offer, or do a program in Canada, or go through the Provincial Nomination route, or learn French', all of which are very difficult and may not be worth the stress, especially as you are already in a developed country. Bro I'm gonna be sincere with you, your chances are little to none if you are to the be the primary applicant. The program is getting more and more competitive by the day even for those in their twenties. In 2019 I don't see the CRS cut-off getting less than 445 readily.

Are you aware that he has Master's? Or you didnt see that? He has a great chance. Let him play with the CRS tool and see what he gets.

Please has anyone ever applied for a re-mark with BC that took longer than the 6 week time?? The suspense is killing me.
Send email to Cambridge (get their email address online) to make sure your EOR was sent to them. BC can be crazy at times.

Yes, there is a need. Though no extra points if your Speaking increases. But if your writing returns unchanged and speaking increases, you will get a refund. So remark writing and speaking.

I'm currently at 440 with a LRWS 9,7.5,7.5,7.5 I'm worried draws will not drop to the 440 range anymore with the high numbers that dive in the pool daily. Should I ask for a remark in Reading? I might get lucky and get 443 if it comes back with an upgrade. 46k is a lotta money to gamble away...
Ask for a remark in RWS to increase your chances of not losing the 46k.

Both of us finished from different universities, but plan to send our sealed transcript envelopes (addressed to ICES) in the same courier package to avoid paying two courier fees. I don't know if it will fly and be accepted by ICES as coming directly from our respective universities. Thanks guys for your anticipated response.

Dont remark only Writing, remark speaking too. It is the same amount and it increases your chances of refund.

Finally, how do I exclude verifying my bachelor's? cos they mailed me that they are still awaiting it but I definitely don't want to evaluate it
Call them on phone or message them on Twitter to delete your BSc. Your cert will be updated when they receive all your docs.

i am trying to send my transcript from my school to WES, my school is asking for extra payment for courier service...that is not even the problem, my question is... since my school is sending my transcript from their own end and i am sending the photocopies of my credentials on my own from my own end, i hope it wouldnt disrupt the evaluation process since my documents will get to them on separate dates via different courier service.
secondly, about NECO, am i just going to send my NECO certificate alongside the Neco scratch cards or there is a special NECO Document that will be sent from NECO office to WES just like the transcript.
Dont waste your money using courier to send your certificate. You can fax it to WES for free but you must include your WES ref #.
You must pay NECO to confirm your result and send it to WES. You can also instruct them to send it together with the scratch card to avoid secondary verificarion by WES.

There is nothing to get frustrated about. Your Speaking test date will be between 11-14th Dec. Better use that time you're wasting to call them and prepare.

This means I am unable to view status of documents they update on my behalf when received. I have contacted them severally but nothing was done to correct it.

It will be like that for at least 2 weeks before it would be updated with the conpletion date. This is the new delay tactics from WES.
Ifeoma77: Probably means no more combining transcripts or WAEC scratch cards in one envelope to save courier costs I'm beginning to think that it's witches and wizards that work in WES. They come to work on Monday morning and go; 'how can we make life more difficult for our customers?' Please and please, people should avoid WES. Paying for multiple qualifications in ICES is better than this. Even a 5 months wait with IQAS is better than this
I think they just want to keep delaying Nigerian EE applicants.

IQAS takes about 5 months. Why not use ICES that takes 5-6 weeks? Read Shyee posts on how she evaluated her nursing certs with ICES.

What you're writing looks like a 'story' an Agent told you. I just hope an Agent is not somewhere 'messing' up your head.
Finish your pre-HND or whatever and evaluate it. Write IELTS and enter the pool. It's that simple! In this Cannyland journey, you cant "jump the gun" or "cut corners."
