SpicyP43: Good day fam. Trust y'all good. Super silent reader here... Please I need your counsel. Background gist: I got to know about EE from this thread sometime in December,2018. After simulating my CRS point I realised I needed another degree in order to get ITA. I registered for NOUN masters in information technology, with the hope of completing it in a year. Started the program in January and was able to do all coursework in 2 semesters. Unfortunately, I couldn't submit thesis on time (closed today )- meaning, I'd have to wait till next semester to complete my program. Next semester results is projected to be out by August 2020, which is when I'd be able to apply for transcripts.
[ cc: ednut1 bankyh1905 and others From experience, dont put your hope in one basket in this journey especially when NOUN is involved. If you can avoid BCS, I will advise you go for it. What if you wait till August and unfortunately your name is not on NOUN graduation list, it happens. So have plan B Shalom |

aremso: oga, you got it age alone can knock one off, have read of people on this thread with 10yrs working experince and all the qualifications but age knocked them off not to talk talk of going tru the task. The way am begging my wife to read for ielts alone no one has never begged me to read like that in my life cos she a primary applicant, then to talk of other hurdles one has to pass tru. The guy should just go and be thanking God faith cos his scores would fly i believe This journey is not an easy one. I know lots of people with sibling points, but yet to ace ielts |

Tina26: come down how With people smashing ielts, more sibling points, more awareness, more french tef candidates. Next year won't be funny o. Let people do all they can to increase points I understand what you are saying. 467 is a perfect score and CRS will definitely come down below it. I believe you are aware that CRs has gone as high as 490 in the past but still went below 440 early this year. People uave always been aware about EE, not all are eligible or ready to face the task. In all, be optimistic and keep hope alive Shalom |

Goodnigga: Learn French(TEF), BCS, CIMA. Whichever is fine by u Bro for someone with such score, aforementioned certificates are not needed. You are fine with 467, however, you can start learning french or try to rewrite ielts and max out |

loffers: Hello house, please I’m confused about the minimum points to be scored before one can be considered. I saw 67points out of 100 and another place I saw CRS of not less than 440. Please what is the difference 67/100 to be eligible CRS is what gives you an ITA if you meet/surpass the cut off for a particular draw |

Thecannylady: I am currently at my NYSC PPA(a school). I want a reference letter from them but they are insisting they must state its NYSC that posted me there. Will this be acceptable please? I'm still there o, trying to convince them. No problem with it. As far they confirmed you worked with them. However, the wordings should not be too confusing too |

Ibukune: Hello house, WES contacted me that my institution is yet to reply the confirmatory message sent to them, but checking in my institution, i was told that no email was gotten from WES. I will like to know if the message from wes is hard copy or via email, and how is the reply meant to be? is it by hard copy or also by mail? Thanks. Both hard copy and email; however, i advise you reply them via both means to avoid the issue of wes not getting an email reply from your school Shalom |

msnasa: Hello House, please assist wit my issue. I am only able to get a reference letter from my current job which is 2years 4months. I am aware that I can add my NYSC work experience which will take me past the 3years mark but my problem is that I am unable to get a reference letter from my PPA. I was initially posted in 2013 but i left to do my masters after camp and I was later remobilised in 2015 to a different state. I am claiming noc 4031 but i don’t have any document showing that I was posted to school. My remobilisation letter only contains the state I was posted to. I am trying not to complicate my application so I plan to attach a LOE, my remobilization documents, nysc cert showing the duration (oct 2015-oct 2016) and a print out of my account statement showing the salary payment. Im not sure if these will suffice or is there anything else I might be able to add to this. Also, I submitted my express entry application mid november, is it advisable to edit this one and add my nysc work experience or should I just create a new profile because of the timestamp issue, please note that this should increase my score from 453 to 478. Please help as this would increase my score from 453 to 478 You MUST get a reference letter from your ppa, its only the reference letter that can show your work description which is the most important component for claiming point in the chosen NOC. Try to get it |

Shesbiodun: Hello everyone. Pls help
So I want to use gift deed for my POF but the bank is saying their reference letter won’t state my current balance, non-indebtedness and it’s availability for immediate use because it’s only a savings account and not an investment account. How do I go about this since this is part of the requirement for IRCC?
They said they can only state when it was opened and that I have run it satisfactorily and successfully for the past 6months. Since its gift deed, all you need are Evidence of transfer by the person(e.g receipt) Gift deed letter(which can be notarized) Statement of account(just for the day the transaction occurs is ok) Letter of non indebtedness from you bank And probably reference letter from the bank, even if its not in CIC format, its still ok, but they will definitely give it to you in CIC format if you press harder Shalom |

Nedu2144: Good morning House,
I have question which has been addressed here but I have a little different case scenario from the already answered question.
1. I work for Company A, the A organized the interview and everything. We discussed the salary and all. But while getting my appointment letter, I noticed that they contracted me to Company B(to avoid paying benefits). Company B doesn't know much about me except that they pay my Salary. So how can i structure my Reference letter to capture the necessary things (b/c of the pay slip(B) and also my online LinkedIn profile is showing company (A)?
2. My pay slip amount is showing the salary amount plus overtime payment. How would the additional overtime pay be represented in the reference letter?
3. I am expecting payment increase between this dec and Jan. Should the new increment be stated or should I stick with old one. Abi na the two? PS: I will not have enough Evidence(pay slip) for new amount, also they(CIC) might want recent pay slip. I dey confuse biko nu. Please help
Cc:@stephanie09 and others
Thanks 1. Which of them are you claiming work experience for? Definitely B. Get the reference letter from B, update your linkeld to Company B because you are working for B and not A. You can add LOE explaining that you were contracted by A for B, its not a new thing they understand how contract jobs works. 2. Just write a number reference letter e.g "......his or her annual remuneration is ... .. excluding other allowances like Overtime pay, 13th month salary, etc. So its not a problem. 3. This depends on when you are getting your reference letter and application. You can always raise CSE to inform them you have salary increase although this is necessary, but can be done to sleep well at night. Shalom |

vitrendy4eva: Good morning house. Please I have a question. What is the minimum amount of time you're expected to have worked with a company to use a reference letter from them for PR application? For example, I worked with Company A for 4 years, and left for Company B. Now I'm about leaving B back to A? Do you advise I get the letter from B before leaving? Since you have worked 4 years with A, you can just get reference letter from just A as the maximum point for work experience is acquired if one has worked for minimum 3 years |

ChiefVal: Where will the Evaluating body get the 1992 date from? Does your school send date of birth on their records with transcripts? I thought it’s date of birth on passport that will be mentioned on the ECA o. I am asking cos I don’t know since I have a uniform DOB across board lol. If that’s the case then OYO is your case o, Cos someone had that issue earlier and was asked for ADR. WES will state DOB on transcript |

ChiefVal: So you’re actually born in 1996, but said 1992 to get into university? Were you 12 when you were entering school that you had to add a whole 4 years? Lol. Anyway, I don’t think your DOB is mentioned on your Diploma or certificates awarded by your school right? You’re not using Waec either. You lied to your university, just don’t lie to IRCC or the evaluating body. 1992 will br stated on his ECA report |
