So, for them, it's just like working in their countries. However, there are certain benefits in Nigeria they cannot get because they are not Nigerian citizens. That's why they are formalizing it. Yes, it's worth it. majority of them are businessmen, dubious ones at that. |

And how can you even know the latest happenings in the financial sector when you spend all your time watching football and playing bet9ja?
For your information, Wema Bank has consistently been one of the top 10 banks in Nigeria in practically every aspect. Does that sound like a bank you describe there? The bank still have great potential for growth as someone rightly pointed out. Stop saying what you don't know,Wema bank is a regional bank, it's not even among the top 20 banks in the country You can't even find them in some states and major cities in the country except in the south west. |

Hamachi: ● 6 things you should never tell everyone ●
I have come to realize that some of the problems we are facing in life all started from, sharing too much information with others, which came back to hurt us.
If you want to live a fulfilled life, here are six things I think, you should never tell people:
● Your deepest fears and insecurities:
These are private matters that should only be shared with someone you trust completely. Telling others can leave you feeling vulnerable and exposed.
● Your financial situation: Money can be a touchy subject, and discussing your finances with others can lead to jealousy, judgment, and unwanted advice.
● Your romantic problems: While it's important to have a support system, airing your romantic problems to everyone can lead to unwanted opinions and gossip.
● Your personal goals: Keep your personal goals to yourself until you have achieved them. Sharing them prematurely can lead to discouragement and criticism.
●Your negative opinions about others: Speaking negatively about others only reflects poorly on yourself. Instead, focus on positivity and building others up.
● Your past mistakes and regrets: Your past mistakes do not define you, and sharing them can lead to unnecessary shame and judgment. Focus on learning from them and moving forward.
Remember, that Trust is a precious gift that should be given with caution, and not everyone deserves access to the sacred spaces of our hearts and minds.
To live a fulfilled life, we must learn to discern those who are worthy of our trust, from those who only seek to betray it. Most of the things you mentioned up there are clearly seen and known by people especially a staunch observer, without you telling them. Remember, action speaks louder than words, For example, if you go closer to someone who's financially down, you will know without him telling you.You will think people don't know what you are passing through until they tell you. |

jumper524: Fuel subsidy is a program that people exploit too. Its not a scam. If subsidy is removed, those exploits by individuals would stop and also petrol price would jump high.. But yes, it'll save the fg some cool cash to be used for other business. All our neighbouring countries are selling fuel at #400upward. You should know smugglers are cashing in. Who is exploiting who, does the government no know the landing cost of petrol or didn't they know the cost of producing a litre of fuel. Those neighbouring African countries selling fuel #400 per litre do not have crude oil or refinery,so, you can't compare them with Nigeria,an oil giant with four refineries. |

Brimstone77: .....
I think I have a problem or not a problem per say, this is my story:
I have had some couples of ladies as friends but i do fall apart with almost all of them in a short distant time (never dated before) but have had some ladies as friends though not too close with some.
But one thing keep happening,we would stop talking to each other,I do feel bad sometimes after we stop taking but I'm the type that will never be the first to start talking to you or make peace with you no matter who you are when you're the first that started ignoring me, because I believe that once you stop talking to me then you don't need me,so trying to make peace will look like imposing or forcing myself on you..
Mind you i have this special respect for women can never talk down on then nor treat them bad and again I have never made any sexual advances towards any of them..
This issue started giving me concern because I think it will affect me tomorrow if I decide to date or marry..
Please guys what's wrong with me...am I normal? You need the to build strong positive emotions, devoid of pride and low self esteem. Women are the best to make friends with, they have a lovely heart especially when they know you are genuine. You can always talk to a friend even if he/ignores you, your friend is someone you can joke and play with, someone you are free to relate, someone you can tell anything. Not someone you afraid of or fear to relate, infact you can fart in the his/presence. |

It is almost impossible to ride Keke on a hire purchase, then use the proceeds to buy other Keke after remittance to your principal. A man still riding Keke at age 60 has gotten it all wrong. |

Sonnobax15: Good day my fellow nairalanders...It's been a while since I've been active in-here...I know how much you guys have equally missed me ,the warri guy .....But I must really confess that I've missed you all so much too...But the hustle has really got my hands so tied up
Well,I've sat and thought of sharing with you all my experience and journey so far on how I've fared since I left my bakery work for keke riding...
First of all,it hasn't been an easy journey..But I must say from the depth of my heart that it's the best decision I've made so far in my entire life....
Though it was given to me by a micro finance bank at a higher purchase price...But considering the amount of profit I usually make for myself on a daily basis after remitting the everyday #4k back to the micro finance bank is very mouth-watering .
Also, the peace of mind is top-notch....I don't have to be confronted by any boss whosoever for coming late to work or poor work output...As a matter of fact, I'm myself boss . If any passenger tries to intimidate me,I've every right to show him/her the exit door out of my keke . I remember how agberos took advantage of me at first when I first started as a novice......To the extent that I stopped working during the day, waiting until the evening when the different squad of agberos have departed the roads . Chaiiii, dem really show me shege cha
Las las,it wouldn't be nice if I don't mention the fact that "agberoism" is indeed a part of this job.... Sometimes I can't help but ponder and wonder how a dude like me who used to be very quiet has suddenly turned out to be the outspoken type to the extent that I now exchange insults with other motorists on the road . Perhaps it's something that's encrypted in every transporter's DNA
In a nutshell,my deepest regret is that I neglected this idea as at five years ago...If only I had paid heed to my old man's advice, definitely, I'd have had my own keke by now... But so far so good,I give God all the glory
Las las, I'd love to advise every jobless but aspiring nairalander out there, that there are enough legit hustling out there which are waiting for you to come and embrace them....."KILL THE PRIDE AND HUSTLE, BECAUSE LAS LAS, NOBODY GO PUT FOOD FOR YOUR TABLE IF YOU NO GET MONEY"...... You took a bold and wise decision. As soon as you finish paying for the hire purchase to the micro finance bank and the Keke becomes your own... You start planning your exit,to move to something less stressful and more rewarding that can sustain you at old age. I am saying this because Keke does not have second hand value and the job is very stressful,it makes one to age faster because you are not getting any younger. I have known many Keke riders doing the job for years but it hasn't really added any value to their lives,in the true sence of it.The reward is like a temporary relief. Plan an exit and work assiduously towards it,more blessings to your hustle. |

Those fines were issued to add credence to the judgement.
On the other hand Peter Obi who was duly qualified to file a reasonable suit against the president elect went about beating around the bush, when he actually knows what to do.

If the refinery will bring in foreign exchange,as is claimed, you don't need to force or beg him to sell at favourable rate.As long as the dollar is entering the market,it will sell at good rate because this time around Dangote won't be the only source of foreign exchange, there will still be majority and substantial earnings from sale of crude. The only message this dullard wants to pass is that goverment should quash the subsidy regime because of course it would benefit the likes of Emefiele substantially because I bet anything,he has a financial stake in this refinery, aside the billions of dollars he made the CBN to pump into it. The other day the fraud told people Dangote has started repaying loans from a refinery that hasn't sold one single litre of fuel. A refinery that will importing crude oil to shore up it's production capacity.Nigeria crude production has dropped drastically due to oil theft, vandalism and spillage. The production sharing agreement NNPC had with the oil major is not enough to supply Dangote. So, if Dangote still imports crude with the scarce forex available, how will the price of petrol going to drop. |

The only thing you can do is to sponsor their education or skills, nature which is the best teacher will do the rest.
Your time and that of your children are quite different, you will be surprised that they will not follow the path that you want them to follow.you just have to guide and pray for them. |
