The girlfriend of Ezekiel Joseph Mayowa, a Lagos State Polytechnic student who recently committed suicide has finally spoken about the incident.

The lady who reportedly jilted Mayowa gave her statement to Police.

In the statement, she told Police investigators that herself and the deceased dated for nine years. That the deceased is fond of beating her. That while she was with the deceased in his room, they had a quarrel and he, as usual, resorted into physical violence. That she ran into the restroom and upon return she found him gasping for breath with an empty bottle of sniper beside him.

Homicide detectives from the State Criminal Investigation Department, Yaba visited the scene at Eyita area, Ikorodu. The corpse of the said Joseph Mayowa was deposited at General hospital mortuary for autopsy while the girlfriend was invited for questioning. An investigation is ongoing to determine whether it was actually a suicide case or murder.

Rev. Dr Abraham Chingbudu of Word Of Life Bible Church is currently under fire after his members snubbed him during an Altar calling.

In the video making rounds on social media, the Pastor called for a seed of breakthrough in a range of 5000-7000 naira.

The pastor after making some prophetic words as regards the seed sowing, still got snubbed.

He then resulted into counting from 1-7 and yet his non of his members came out.

A Video of Stonebwoy handcuffed after pulling out a gun during a fight with Shatta Wale and his crew members at the 2019 VGMA awardd has emerged.

It was earlier reported that fight broke out when Stonebwoy was announced the winner of ‘Reggae/Dancehall Artiste of the Year’ at the award ceremony which held last night.

All of a sudden Shatta Wale and his crew members stormed the stage when Stonebwoy was about receiving the award.

Afraid of what could happen, Stonebwoy quickly pulled out a gun.

He was consequently arrested and handcuffed by security operatives at the venue of the event.

The singer was later released and announced as a winner in another category ‘Best Collaboration of the Year’.
