we can argue all day here but i wont budge. wayne rooney is better than miroslav klose. ferguson is better than ottmar hitzfeld and man utd are better than bayern munich. its not only my opinion. its a fact. let me educate u some more. only 4 clubs have done the treble. celtic in 1967, ajax in 1972, psv in 1988 and man utd in 1999. this simply means man utd was the last club to complete the treble. mr dayo, man utd is the only team in a grade a league that has ever done the treble. one can understand the scottish league and eredivisie are relatively weak  football leagues. u cannot say the same about the premiership, can u? this is the simple reason man utd is the best club in europe bar none.

u are more reasonable so lets continue the debate. i know the rivalry between arsenal and spurs and i support arsenal fans booing any player that crosses from arsenal to spurs and vice versa. man utd booing stevie gerrard has a reason. gerrard wrote in his autobiography that he was raised to hate man utd fans. in his book, he said his greatest wish is to see man utd die. tell me why united fans are not justified to boo gerrard. did edgar davids write any book about arsenal wishing them to die? arsenal booing edgar davids is senseless.

and to think rooney started few games in wide positions? trust me, rooney is miles ahead klose. rooney scored 14 goals with 13 assists in the league alone. klose scored 13 goals with 7 assists. what is klose's contribution in other club competitions? he went to sleep.

as expected of any arsenal fan, they don't get it!!! ashley cole deserves to be booed because he was once an arsenal player before moving to chelsea(a rival club), luis figo deserves the boos because he was once a barca player before joining real madrid. edgar davids never played for arsenal before playing for spurs so why should arsenal fans boo him? it's like united fans booing  torres, crouch, babel, elano and mpenza because they once played for a rival club. it makes no sense.
u should have added a selling club that has never won anything in europe, never won the league cup in 11 attempts, never retained a premiership title, has failed to win any title in the last 2 seasons. chelsea and liverpool can still raise their hands up if we take the events that happened 3 years ago. liverpool won ucl, chelsea won back to back titles. what has arsenal won since 2004? a miserable fa cup!!!! keep selling and keep getting deceived by your dubious board who will do anything to make fans feel things are rosy at the club.

please stop saying u are neck and neck with last season's champions. is that your main objective this season or trying to stop these run of barren seasons? arsenal for what they are should be hungrier for this title than any other club. arsenal must win the league this season or else it makes 4 seasons without winning the premier league. arsenal is a selling club, united is not. man utd go out there to buy players and they don't care if they make profit/loss in the transfer market like arsenal. no prize is given for stuffs like that. p.s. liverpool has more fans than arsenal. the mad men wearing arsenal shirts(according to dayokanu) in lagos does not make the number.

what happened to kloses legs last season scoring 15 goals in all competition compared to wayne rooney's 23 goals? a player might have a bad tournament but when u have a bad tournament and a bad season then houston, we have a problem.

arsenal only became rich after they moved to the emirates who gives them 3 million on tickets alone. chelsea will be richer if they move to a bigger stadium likewise liverpool. don't come here to tell us what u don't know. the highest transfer deal arsenal has ever done was jose antonio reyes for 17 million. liverpool has broken that mark. chelsea has surpassed it so what makes u rich if u cannot transform financial success to titles?

u guys make me laugh. u had to write those cryptic lines to drive your points home. swp once played for man city. i am yet to see any united fan boo him for playing for man city. robbie fowler, el hadji diouf and owen all played for liverpool, united fans dont boo them. all i was trying to say is arsenal fans are too aggressive. edgar davids wasn't even a spurs player when the testimonial game was played. he is not english so he doesn't even know about the spurs/arsenal rivalry before he signed. so why will some set of drunken fans(majority at emirates) will stoop so low and boo edgar davids on a special day like that. it beggars belief.

on financial dealings, arsenal is a selling club. man utd can sell david beckham all they want but they will still go out there and buy the rooneys, ferdinands, verons, andersons and nanis at cut throat prices. arsene wenger goes into the market to buy cheap players to make profits in transfer dealings. who sets out to make profits in transfer market at the expense of buying quality players? vieira was sold, henry was sold and what did wenger bring in? diaby and eduardo. how does that make wenger a ftse expert? why hasn't he turn arsenal into the richest club in england despite his economic acumen. keep living in fool's paradise. arsenal is a selling club. look at milan, liverpool, man utd, barcelona and chelsea and see why they are successful and why wenger is yet to retain a premier league title.

epl is better than bundesliga cos we have more quality teams than bundesliga. 4 clubs represent the epl in the ucl compared to bundesligas 3. epl is richer and stronger than the bundesliga. it is too obvious to be noticed. even dayokanu in his state of drunkeness admitted to it some days ago. 3 defenders better than lucio in the premiership are vidic, carvalho, toure and gallas. i cannot choose between lucio and ledley king at this stage.

ronaldo, giggs, hleb, malouda are better than ribery. drogba, rooney, torres, anelka and robbie keane are all better than miroslav klose.

after reading all your epistle to the romans, can u explain how bayern missed playing in the champions league with their supposed class players?how did bundesliga slip from being a great league to a mediocre league? the epl sent out 4 teams to play in the ucl, the 4 of them are still in contention. tell us why bundesliga sent 3 teams and only one(schalke04) is still standing.

man utd has one cutting edge over real madrid, barcelona and milan. they might have won the ucl 9 years ago but they have been able to dominate a grade a league. u cannot say the same in serie a or the la liga. that is the cutting edge. who has 60% dominance in a grade a league comprising of 20 teams. get back to me when u solve that mystery. if teams like celtic/porto were grade a leagues, i will give it to them but they belong to grade c leagues. united gets a nod because they have won the ucl and they have been able to wrap a grade a league in their palms. they are on the march again to win their 10th premiership title this season. in case u dont know, the premiership title has been identified as the strongest league in the world.

fabregas played 38 league games last season and all he could come up with was 2 goals and 13 assists. ronaldo has the highest shots on goal last season and he is leading the pile this season. he is closely followed by carlos tevez.

thats a blatant lie. the only reason he didn't get booed at the emirates was by the time he played at the emirates, he has converted his haters into admirers. even then, he still got booed but not as much as what he got when the premiership began in august 2006. ronaldo didnt play at the emirates until january 2007 so forget that theory. don't kind yourselves to believe henry will not be booed if he comes to the emirates. arsenal fans are sometimes irrational with their actions and it makes one sick. why will any arsenal fan boo edgar davids? is that not abnormal? especially when the game was a dennis bergkamp's testimonial game.

ronaldo's contribution last season is better than all the pires' performances put together. ronaldo scored 17 league goals with 14 assists as a winger.
he scored 23 goals with 20 assists in all competitions last season. go and bring out the stats on pires and lets see if it comes near ronaldo's outstanding performance.

the basis for comparison is man utd play in a grade a league while bayern plays in a grade b league. it aint about the number of cups won. porto and celtic or al ahly in egypt have won more cups than bayern munich or arsenal but does it mean they are all better than arsenal? real madrid is not the best team in europe as we speak. they need to win something on the continental level as soon as possible to get back to the zenith.

bundesliga is weak because uefa rates them weak. they are not even seeded. the days of bundesliga are over. nothing shines in germany anymore as long as football is concerned. the strongest league in the world as we speak is the english premier league. i have stayed in germany before as well and there's nothing spectacular about your league. no passion, no finance, poor packaging and racism has eaten into bundesliga. it can never ever match the epl. the iffhs(a german based football history and statistics body) rates the epl as number 1. bundesliga is 6th in the ranking.

its not about the number of cups won by bayern in the league or the ucl. afterall, celtic has won more cups than any team in europe so does that make them better than chelsea? i have warned u at various times to stop comparing bundesliga teams with the epl teams. the last time i checked, bundesliga is a grade b league. until uefa changes it to grade a, there's no basis for comparison. u lots can only play 3 teams in ucl while epl will always play 4 teams. it means uefa rates this league more than the bundesliga. therefore, the best team in europe can only come from grade a leagues which are serie a, la liga and the epl.

how can anyone compare pires to ronaldo? ronaldo is the best thing that happened to this league since cantona left the game 10 years ago. the sterling quality is top notch and this is why people always expect him to score as a winger. all arsenal wingers put together does not have his goal tally this season. ribery is a god in germany but ronaldo makes him look like a poof. the only reason why anyone will not give credit to the portugese is beef. arsene wenger will auction his scrotum to get ronaldo if he gets such offers.

nope. there's nuthing chelsea has won that united doesn't have in 2-3 folds. chelsea has only won 3 league titles in 53 seasons. never played in the finals of ucl, never won the ucl plus i cannot remember any 5 players graduating from chelsea academy to break into their starting eleven. real madrid and barcelona is a different kettle. barcelona has contributed to at least 70% of the prodigious talents lying around the world as we speak. won back to back la liga titles, they own a player who won fifa awards in quick succession and loads more. besides, iffhs says barcelona is the best team in the world today, i will have to agree with them.

flamini took his chance and he is reaping the benefits. gilberto going to the copa america helped flamster a lot. flamster saw this as an opportunity knowing the gentle brazilian is breathing down on his neck. same goes for almunia. he got injured against everton the other night and the moment he saw lehmann warming up for him, he got up and was healed mysteriously. the competition is good for the team but people like diarra(a newbie) will always feel short-changed as he is yet to enjoy his good spell with arsenal. my take is, we cannot blame diarra for wanting to leave arsenal. he wants regular team action.
