Are we supposed to congratulate them on being trāfficked? ![]() |
Absolutely. People who say 'no' seem lazy, ignorant, or degenerate. |
Both are eaten all over the world. If you're ever in Florida (US), there's plenty of restaurants offering crocodile "wings" (legs). |

Racism in any country that has a substantial population of oyinbos isn't news or surprising. |
Barbados. |
Depends on how good the bread is... |
Maybe talk to them about specific reasons why they don't like the women you choose. If their reasons just aren't valid, you'll have to go against them and marry her. They'll have to accept it eventually. |

Here's a link to Spain's embassy in Abuja: http://www.exteriores.gob.es/Embajadas/ABUJA/en/Embajada/Pages/Embajador.aspx Here's a site the embassy directs international students to (view it on a desktop or set your phone browser to desktop settings): http://www.studyinspain.info/en/prepara-tu-viaje/Tramites_administrativos/ Info on grants: http://www.studyinspain.info/en/reportajes/propuestas/How-to-obtain-a-grant-to-study-in-Spain/ Some of the links are old, so you may have to search for the new site. One of the grant websites was acting funny for me, so I contacted the appropriate people to address it. I'll follow up on that sometime next week. Some websites also seem kind of slow, but they do work. Be patient. If you're having trouble with something because you don't know Spanish, let me know and I'll see what I can do. |
Just to give an update, you shouldn't have any trouble going. They're letting Indians in, so obviously they're not worried. I assume you'll just have to be sure to get vaccinated. |
I don't think some of these clowns realize that some people cannot get vaccinated. Some people have health conditions that make it dangerous. Some people are on necessary medications, and they can't get it because of drug interactions. |

Karlovych:Miami has clubs. But what does Vegas have besides obese oyinbos? |
Depressed101:I said he could try. Scholarships, cheap school, government program, or whatever may help. |
Abnormal insecurity (among many other maladaptive patterns). But sometimes there are people who you can never give enough, and/or they waste it. |
I might start watching PL again just to see Lukaku. Dude just dominates like a storm. |
Kubernetes:And everyone in China, HK, and Korea wants to be in NY. |
Karlovych:Where should they go instead? |
Troubldmind:Review the nurse thread. They'll have all this info. https://www.nairaland.com/2863557/nigerian-nurses-midwives-dream-working/170 ETA: Nursing is like the surest bet. One of those countries will hire you, and you'll be paid well. |
bepositive11:I never said they were the same. I said that a sociopath can hide who they are, but not a narcissist or toxic person. And narcissists can change. It's just that they rarely get treatment. NPD, according to experts, comes from coping behaviors and defenses people develop in difficult situations. If someone is mature and aware enough to essentially reprogram themselves, they're capable of healthy relationships. I think it's important to be able to identify the differences between narcissists and people with a few toxic traits.I think it's dangerous to describe toxic behavior as "a few toxic traits." That's like saying "a little bit pregnant." Obviously, no one is perfect. But everyone should be on a path of self-improvement. Both the narcissist and person with "a few toxic traits" have work to do. People with a weaker sense of self are codependent so it's not easy for them to identify negative behaviours and move on.I don't think sense of self or "codependency" motivates those poor choices. I think they ironically suffer from many of the same problems as the narcissist, but develop different maladaptive patterns. They basically need to reprogram too. |
Tourist123:Maybe he was having a bad day. Chinese flu has customers acting strange. But if he really was bad, report him on the company website. They'll sort it out. |
Tourist123:A metro card is a beautiful thing. You can go to Narnia and Oz on that thing; one flat fee. |
Tourist123:Don't hate, don't hate. What if your daughter falls in love with a Jamaican? What if you have a bunch of half Jamaican grandbabies? |
babakb:Native speakers are of course preferred. But Nigerians (like Indians and certain other nationalities) are desirable for several reasons: -strong demonstrated English proficiency in their nation and abroad -English as the official language or official business/instruction language in their nation -okay with a low salary -comfortable living in a developing nation -will stay for several years -won't complain about petty things or hard work -professional and polite So, I'd say it's a viable option for op. And they may even end up somewhere they really like. ![]() |
You could try to study nursing in UK/US/Canada. Once you do that, you're almost guaranteed a good job and citizenship or PR if you want it. They don't really care about your background. Another option is maybe doing a CELTA cert and teaching English abroad. Your pay won't be great. But your experience will be valuable if you want to go to better places with a better salary. You can also go to school while you're there. |
They must be trying to compete with the coming super league because I doubt this guy is worth that. |
I hope he gets voted out soon. |
