It's so lame when someone goes, "the real Egyptians were black." It's not some amazing fact. The original people were black everywhere. That's been known for a long time. Nonblacks aren't even real races. They're albinos and admixtures. lol Literally.

I don't care about Egypt because I'm far more interested in the black people still here who can tell their story. If you want to see or hear about cool history in east Africa; Kenya, South Sudan, and Ethiopia are right there. They're overflowing with amazing things, virtually untouched by the lies of ugly oyinbos and arabs.

And no. I don't believe Egyptians invented all the crap (oyinbo) people claim. I think that's a perversion of history that fits certain agendas.

Generally speaking, those things don't matter. But in real life, they do.

Most people find they don't want to settle down with someone not from their culture. Our cultures are beautiful parts of us that we all want to pass down to our children. It's also so much of who we are that you may feel strongly disconnected from a partner outside of it. There's also a lot of conflict and hate that no sane person wants to invite into their marriage and family.

There's also the matter of cultural preservation. Why wouldn't you want to marry in your culture and continue it?

Often people who ignore these realities are either self-hating in some way, or ignorant. That said, it's certainly possible to be very happy marrying out, but we shouldn't assume most people can be happy doing so.

Religion is a different story, unless you're talking about someone who seems to spend more time in church than at home. Those people pretty much have to marry within their faith.
