Yes. It's arguably better to do it this way. Why? You're working within strong limitations. If you can code effectively on that, you can do amazing (and very competitive) things outside of it. You also need to remember that a couple generations back, the average computer was less powerful than your phone, and that's what everyone coded on -- along with pen and paper.

However, it's going to involve real coding, so be prepared to actually work. It's also less forgiving, so you need to be careful (don't brick your phone).

Be careful with following trends. No joke, there's guys still making money (good money) off 80s programming skills.

Whatever you do, just know that the money and opportunity comes from doing it well, not just knowing how to do a few things. And companies care more about your ability to pick up new things than being an expert on 30 things.

You also have to remember that job requirements need to be taken with a grain of salt. We've all seen ads that want 10 years of experience with a technology that's like 4 years old.

Skip the club, and try socializing more with women at work, church, and etc. What are your hobbies? Do you go to any networking and professional events? Do you do volunteer work? Those are all opportunities to meet women for serious relationships.
