ik121: Giv back to wich society??If you don't serve your father land...who will? |
Having read your article, I can draw a conclusion that Obj is just an old frustrated man waiting to kick the bucket anytime soon.. |
Geomac: Six Bottles of Coke multiply by Eighteen Cubes of Sugar is equal to One Hundred and Eight Cubes of Sugar per day@op can you see what you're doing to yourself? 108 cubes of sugar...with the rate at which you're going, if you don't control yourself, you're likely to start complaining of weak erection and premature ejaculation in the near future. |
ijebabe: I'm still taking bets y'all!!I wanna bet ![]()
I am still selling pop-corn
Alright...how do you sell? |
Ellylace: lolz...niice! Well teaching isn't such an appalling idea for me..Especially cos I'll only end up teaching french or german to kids who dnt have d slightest idea, or @ mst,hav meagre knowledge of wot I'm saying...however,If I end up having an "over sabi" smart mouth (Lord knows I used to be one in my daysHmmmmmm...ok o! |
alleviate2002us: I like this guy.....buh why twins when the dates of birth are actually different?Their date of birth has nothing to do with whether or not they should be considered as twins. My dictionary tells me that twins are... 1. either of two children or animals brought forth at a birth. 2. either of two persons or things closely related to or closely resembling each other. So in my world, they're twins... ![]() |
Double post |
Freiburger: How did i missed this?I guess you were carried away by the new year celebrations. ![]() |
ogbeche77: yes, Nigeria is Nigeria, even if he gets SokotoSure...last time I checked, Sokoto is still part of Nigeria...apart from the security challenges which has almost swallowed the state, believe me, it would be fun to serve there. |
Duduconfirm: It's like I'm invisible on this threadYou don't have to be embarrassed, we can see you...introduce yourself, and have fun. ![]() |
outrage: How can't you answer a question in social studies? Its an example...read my post again you'll see where I said for example. |
colonel20: Internet is unavailable/costly in some very remote areas(due to poor networks n vewy vewy few cybercafes),You can always use your phones or mordems to access the internet...bb, iphones, galaxy tabs...etc All you have to do is to source out for the best network in that community and patronize it. colonel20: though these remote areas won't have much students that can fire questions @ yuTrue, but that doesn't mean you should let down your guard...always read thoroughly before any lecture so when issues like this come up, you would be able to deal with it confidently. colonel20: Some students will purposely come up with standard questions in dat topic yu are treating just for fun...If you have gone through the syllabus which would be given to you upon employment, then you shouldn't have much problem replying them provided that its in line with the syllabus and what you're teaching them. colonel20: If yu ask me a question i don't know several times, i'll applaud yu and ask yu to come to my office in 2hrs time, so i'll teach yu and yu must teach it to every class memba. Amadioha save yu if all of dem don't understand itThe worse mistake a teacher would ever do is to give his students the impression that he has little or no knowledge of what he's teaching. You must be confident...google should be your best friend not some hungry author text book or some arrogant kid whose main aim is to make a mockery of you to his mates. colonel20: Infact, inshort, when i get thr...Ok...I wish you success in advance. ![]() |
ignis: Guy, no matter how intelligent you are, you cannot answer all secondary school questions, especially if its science subjects. Plus in most schools they won't allow you choose subject to teach. They just assign the subject which no teacher is available to you.Exactly what I just pointed out now... |
outrage: Ok.. Execpt maybe a subject is assigned that is not in your field.. But you can't be an engineering graduate and not able to answer physics, maths, drawing questions.. Haba! That's just a disgrace and waste of time going to uni.In some cases, you're likely not going to know the subject you'll be assigned to teach, and you're likely not going to be assigned to teach a subject in your field. For example...if you're an engineering student, and the remote secondary school in which you were posted is looking for a social studies teacher, its likely that you would be assigned to teach social studies which has nothing to do with engineering. But it all depends on where you're being posted though. Places differ. |
ogbeche77: abi now.. If student ask corper question & he no no, na to direct d question to another student,if that oneself no no.. Just use d question as home work for them.. Submit next class. There fada.. Na corper them one disgrace, dem tell dem say na education all corpers read for schTrue. But it would be wise to prepare ahead...have lecture notes, and use the internet when necessary to browse true subjects so as to avoid embarrassments Truth is you can't keep giving them assignment forever...but they would keep asking you questions. It would be wise to answer the ones you can to their understanding, and the rest which you feel you have very little knowledge of, tell them to be patient that when you get to that area in the subject, they would understand it much better. students can be naughty at times, if you keep throwing every questing they ask you back at them as assignment, they might turn you into a laughing stock... |
miz4oxley: Pls Tell if Yes/No. A colleague in the office said Nigeria is a Country where one man wouldn't mind having all the ATM to himself, Seashores+Ships, Roads, and every. Give reasons for your answer and why?Something tells me you already know the answer to that question...so why ask? |
ik121: ^^^Ha ha ha you're funny... ![]() |
ik121: Thank God for text books,And when the intelligent ones among them start asking you constructive questions, what would you do? |
I wish her many more years ahead... |
omonori1: WHAT THINGS DIVIDE US, AND WHAT ARE THE THINGS TRULY UNITE US AS NIGERIANS, REALLY?Nigeria ought to be Africa's powerhouse - cos its the continent's biggest oil producer and most populous country black nation on this planet. Sadly...after decades of poor governance, most of its 160 million people are still mired in poverty. What divides Nigeria or rather what has prevented Nigeria from moving forward is the division along many lines - ethnic, religious, economic and political - and sometimes these tensions boil over into violence....claiming hundreds and thousands of lives. On the unity aspect, I feel the game of football unites Nigerians. I've never seen Nigerians so united, patriotic and passionate whenever they're watching the National team play the game of football. Imo...football is the only thing that brings a muslim, christian, Igbo, Yoruba, hausa...etc together. |
Nigeria is a Joke! ![]() |
Its not by force to rule. He should step down if the job is too tedious for him...what's the essence of ranting, when he can easily throw in the towel? I hate hypocrites. |
^^^So all this is in the region of $15 billion?......nice one .
I guess they meant N15 billion not $15 billion. ![]() |
And if you believe that, you'll believe anything; where is $15 billion showing in Anambra state -tourism?
In as much as I'm not a fan of peter obi, I believe he's trying a bit.
real estate?
Udoka and Ngozika Estates both in Awka are quite developed...even the commissioners quarters in Ifite-Awka is also presentable..they're all projects built by the state government.
shopping malls?
How many states in Nigeria have state owned shopping mails?
schools?
I don't know if you've heard of the Acronym ANIDS? Anambra Integrated Development Strategy...with this strategy, gov peter obi made sure that every state owned secondary school was entitled to brand new ANIDS customized buses to ease students burden of transportation. Customized 40, 60 and 80 leaves ANIDS exercise books, and biros... A general renovation of most schools in the state. And a well equipped library.
hospitals?
I wouldn't say much here...but so far, he has done his best.
flyovers and superhighways?
We have the onitsha flyover, and the Awka fly over...most high ways in Anambra state are perfect...the Onitsha-Agula road is perfect...the Ziks Avenue- Amawbia road is also intact. The Nibo-Nise-Mbaukwu road is also good.
township roads in Onitsha, Nnewi and Awka?-
Awka has good roads..apart from the villages, it would be very difficult for you to come across a bad road in Awka. Onitsha still needs much rehabilitation...one of the major roads there (onitsha-enugu expressway) seems to be taking ages for the government to bring it to completion. For the past 6 years or so..I'm always encountering different kinds of bulldozers, caterpillars on that road...and yet the road still remains a mockery to the state Peter Obi needs to work on it. Newi roads also needs rehabilitation.
where ?.....or was it invested mainly in stocks, shares and outside the state?
He used it to touch one or two things in the state...then embezzled the rest.
PS- does anyone have updates on the Orient refinery?
Nothing...seems the place has become an underground refinery...I barely hear any news about it. |
geeez: Following they increase in theYoruba population in the SE state of Enugu and the political crisis which the state may be enmeshed in anytime soon, I am predicting that a Yoruba governor will emerge in the Igbo state in 2015. Can I get a witness?Wake up bro...its morning already. |
Sweetlemon: The "bed guy" I have been talking about here has invited me to spend a weekend at his family house (with his folks)Ok..congrats, you're few steps away from the altar. Sweetlemon: Lord!Good for you then... Sweetlemon: And I'm so scared! Is it that difficult for you to make up your mind Sweetlemon: One minute I'm on top of the world, the next my tommy churns. All because a guy asked you to see his parents ![]() Sweetlemon: What if they are snobs?Be careful what you wish for... Sweetlemon: What if I do or say the wrong things? What is it you're so afraid of saying? Sweetlemon: What kind of clothes should I even take along with me?You're not going on a honeymoon...you're going to meet your guy's parents. It would be wise to look decent...first impression matters a lot. Sweetlemon: Oh well, at the end I guess I'll just have to settle for being confident in myself.Good then...good luck! |
alleviate2002us: A woman gave birth to Twins;Funny...they're still twins imo...but they'll have to celebrate their birthdays differently. |
