Ogezita: i heard d process involved in re- deployment is somehow hectic, how true is it pls?Well its hectic...I would post the procedure for those who might need it. If you're redeploying, you wouldn't get a PPA. You must remember to fill a redeployment form in your second week at the orientation camp, and attach all necessary documents (medical report, marriage certificate etc). A list will come out at the last week of camp, showing successfully redeployed corp members and their new states. So for those re-deploying, you wont be giving a PPA letter after camp, but a redeployment letter. So you just go straight to your new state and find a PPA for yourself at the new state. And like I stated earlier, its quite hectic. |
Abujafood: Just wondering if you were stranded and you are well dressed will you beg for money? What other situation could ever make you beg for money?Funny enough, I've never experienced such situation. I guess God loves me so much. |
This thread seems to have been abandoned...good evening everyone... |
You never ready to buy. There is market in the culture section. I will rather go there
But you haven't sold anything all day...think of the transport you'd waste to get there...you'd be at a loss...80 naira is a good bargain. |
Sure. Market no move today
In that case I would make it 80 naira then for 3. |
lordekeson: iam happy to join nairaland ,,i have been reading comments from people but this is my time to share my own idea on issues,,,Alright share them...we would be glad to benefit from it. |
Okay. How many are you buying?
I'm buying 3..can I give you 100 naira for it? |
kweencess: Thanks Crazyman!. I really wouldn't want to take any chances. i might just go with it as long as its safe, the cost of living wouldn't be much of a problem..thanks for your timeYou're welcomed... |
kweencess: Please guys i'm new here. where do you think is the best place to serve? I had Enugu in mind but i don't know what the camp looks like..i really wouldn't mind suggestions as i've been mobilized for batch A and still confused as to where to work my posting to. Suggestions pleaseEnugu is good, but its expensive...I wouldn't want to make any suggestions for you cos I don't know your taste. Just make up your mind on a state of your choice, and avoid paying money to anyone in order to influence your posting...most of them are scammers. The best way to go about it would be to wait until the posting is out. And if you're not satisfied with the state you're posted to, you can apply for re-deployment to the state of your choice after your 3 weeks...its much better that way. |
Ebele150: And am also an indigine too hope that will also helps in me gaining the admission this year cos I don't want to waste another year again thanksYou're wrong bro...indigines has the highest cut off mark in unizik. Your cut off mark would be second to the merit cut off. Unizki is a catchment federal university. So candidates from Abia and Ebonyi states would be considered first before you who is an Anambra Indigine. Study hard and I can assure you that you'll be admitted. Good luck. |
ignis: What if you want to sleep @ nyt, where do Ɣõµ keep them?To ensure the safety of your gadgets and other valuables in your waste pouch, you must make sure it doesn't leave your waist. You must sleep with it, jog with it, march with it, go to the toilet and bathroom with it...etc. Your waist pouch should be part of you. |
Na wa o...so sad |
Afritop: I WONDER WHAT KIND OF LAWYER WILL REPRESENT THESE CLIENTSWith the right facilities, they should be able to train a goat to represent them in court...Nigeria is a Joke. |
Fresh pepper |
greatgod2012: Sometimes, i wonder what is happening in this country, so many criminals, touts, etc are on d streets, threatening and harassing d innocent pple on d streets and in their homes, yet, nothing is been done to address that, but they can arrest goats......smhThat's Nigeria for you...I wonder if our leaders follow the constitution at all...cos I would want to see whether such ridiculous act is written in the constitution. |
toshmann: Yeah right nairaland. I refuse to believe this story.Including you who posted on the thread. |
Iconium: Do you think gadgets as such could be safe on camp considering the bustling atmosphere? That's why you need to go with a waist pouch. Where those gadgets can be kept. |
Lai lai. I can't sell for less then 50 naira
But they look so small...50 naira is too much. How about I give you 40 naira...if you won't accept it, then I guess I have to forget about buying. |
OC cool: Tnx alot @Crazyman. Bt do u know if 3-quarter shorts re allowed? As far as its shorts, you're good to go. |
Seyixyz: Pls i hav a questn..Som1 stated here dat sch i.d is important in camp reg..D tin is,my sch (A.B.U Zaria) wil collect our i.d card & in turn issue d original certificate 2 us..How do i go abt it pls?No camp asks you for school I.d card. What they ask for is your call-up letter. Some camps go as far as taking your call-up letter for UV Mercury Light verification to test the authentication of it. You won't be needing your school I.d card in camp. |
50 naira each
Would you sell for 30 naira...that's what I can afford. |
Seyixyz: Simple englist u cannot spoken.. ![]() |
Duduconfirm: Pls what are d other neccessary thingsJust the regular things you would need... Things like you luggages, mosquito nets, bed sheet (most mattress in camps are very dusty and can give you running nose if you sleep on it) and they're given on first come first serve basis. So if you come late, you're likely to sleep on a lice infested mattress. You can also come with mosquito sprays...most of your lectures and activities would be under trees, and very close to bushes...in most cases you're likely to get bitten by insects, mosquitoes...etc. So it would be wise to come armed and prepared. Also come with bed sheets pillow case and buckets (you can buy this in mammy market) Padlock and chain for chainning your luggage to your bed, so it won't get stolen. Waist pouch...where you can keep your phone, money Id card...etc. You must make sure that it doesn't leave your waist. Bath pack...medicated soap, cream, dettol, tooth brush, tooth paste... If I remember more, I'll post them here. |
This is real!!! I thought it was a joke till I checked the Sun Newspaper.... Damn!!! These guyz are funny...... ![]() www.sunnewsonline.com/new/cover/5-goats-arrested-in-osun/
I said it yesterday that Nigeria is a joke...I guess I was right. ![]() |
outrage: But I can choose to where the khaki all the time right?Bro the major out fit is white and white...when the time for putting on kahi comes, you'll change to it along with your fellow corpers. If you're known to be a bad boy there, always disobeying the rules, the soldiers might make an example outta you...so just stick to whatever they ask you to do, to wear...etc. |
outrage: I heard someone here mention the use of khaki.. I was actually planing to wear that instead. The kahki is mainly for parade...your white shorts and white round neck are what you'll be putting on most of the time. |
Also try as much as possible to snap passport photographs now...you're going to be needing lots of them in camp. And if go without any, the photographers in mammy market are going to take advantage of you by charging you more because they know you need them desperately. So use this period to get enough passports and other necessary things. |
OC cool: Morning guyz. Pls I would lyk 2 no, d white shorts dat wil b given in camp, esp 4 d guys do the waist av elastic or belt loops 4 wearin belt? And usually how long re d shorts? cos 4 me na 3-quarter tins I wan sew or at least they must be below d knees. So pls ur responses re needed esp. d ex corpers Crazyman nd co.You'll be given a white elastic shorts...2 white shirts, 2 white shorts...there are no belt loops...just elastic. You will be expected to wear it throughout your 3weeks in camp except on sundays. And of course, you can bring white shorts for yourself...the ones they would give you in camp are of poor quality, so carry as much whites as possible when coming since that's what you'll be wearing throughout your stay. |
No fewer than five goats were yesterday arrested at Dele-Yesa area in Osogbo, the Osun State capital by officials of the state Waste Management Agency (OWMA) for allegedly violating environmental laws. The state Coordinator of the agency, Mr. Henry Ogunbanwo said the goats would be charged to court by the agency and would be prosecuted in accordance with the laws guiding environmental protection in the state.www.sunnewsonline.com/new/cover/5-goats-arrested-in-osun/ |
moneybag4411: I cooked for my enemies with DETTOL....if i dont take care of them, who willFunny...but you must make sure you don't mistakenly taste that food while cooking or else you might end up doing them a favour by killing yourself. |
ichidodo: whats up wit abuja nah? no alert,no nothing? abi, dem 4get sey abuja dey get corpers, ni?Sorry bro...those greedy politicians have kept your allawe in their fixed deposit accounts. They're concerned about the interest it would yield to them and not the service you're rendering to the nation. That's Nigeria for you. |
No way |
