You should have just highlighted the relevant passages you needed and laid emphasis on them. This uncoordinated copy and paste you did just made the whole article very difficult to comprehend.

NYSCRe: NYSC Batch A 2013 House by CrazyMan(mod): 1:37am On Jan 10, 2013
ogbeche77: security reason does not apply in all northern state, except 4 yobe & borno..
When there are cases of security breach in any northern state, then re-deployment becomes applicable.

In 2005, kaduna and kano were regarded as unsafe, corpers were allowed to re-deploy from the both states.

Today, kaduna and kano is quite safe, and the area of concentration is brono and yobe.

Re-deployment based on security reasons isn't limited to brono and yobe state.

Once any northern state poses a visible threat to your safety, then re-deployment becomes possible.
NYSCRe: NYSC Batch A 2013 House by CrazyMan(mod): 8:22pm On Jan 09, 2013
ogbeche77: That's what we were told.. Even d cost of passport & photocopies were not as high as exagerrated when we got to camp, since most camps are regimented, the prices are controlled,no rip off or over the roof prices..Most wares in camp are almost same price with lagos market
Hmmm then you were lucky.

When I served, we were buying a role of tissue paper for 80 naira against the regular 40 or 50 naira outside.

A sachet of pure water was 10 naira and a bottle of soft drink was 70 naira.

A plate of food was between 150 and 200.

The prices of things were slightly higher that what we bought outside.

Even photocopy was 8 naira against the 5 naira outside.

I don't know whether it was because of the nature of the camp...there were no banks around, no market, no fast food there was absolutely nothing near by...we were all at the mercy of the mammy operators.

Hearing your story, I guess states differ.

ogbeche77: The max num of passports need in camp is 4, i snapped 32 when going, believe me it a waste now.. But it ll still be usefull though
Haba what do you want to use 32 passports for cheesy

At least 8 or 16 should be ok...just in case.

32 was just too much.

ignis: CrazyMan, pls if am posted to a state that I don't like for example Northern states, would I be allow to re deploy to the state of my choice without presenting medical report, marriage certificate or any reasonable excuse?
Nope...you won't be allowed. You must state reasons why you want to re-deploy...you can put security reasons in the case of Northern states. And if there are cases of breach of security in the state, you'll get your re-deployment.

But bear it in mind that you must present strong reasons or else your request would be turned down.
