plaetton: Good try my friend, but you did not prove anything. You put a spin to validate what you believed.No...I think its ignorance on your part. Would you tell me that God didn't know that moses was holding a staff in his hand? Or that God didn't know that Adam had sinned against him? Stop being ignorant and read the passage before you. plaetton: There was no proof in the passges you quoted to show that god knew in advance, the answers tot he questions he was asking. If there was no proof, then why did God tell moses that he's sending him to deliver his people? If God didn't know all things, why would he ask someone to approach a king and demand that he (the king) frees his people. Do you know the consequences of challenging a king who doesn't know God? Not to mention that the challenger's people are slaves to this very king. Ignorance again on your part...learn to read the bible carefully. Don't just post passages and demand answers. plaetton: You just simply filled in the blanks for him, in the typical Nairaland Yahwehist's tradition. How if I may ask? You asked a question, and I gave you an answer. I think its you atheist who should be blamed here. You ask questions, and when answers are given, you take your time reading through it (the answers) to find something to argue with. |
plaetton: I wonder if the Nigerian media would print this. They already have...I read it on punch newspaapaer some days ago. |
plaetton: ...That god does not know everything?Read the passage below...God knew that Adam had sinned, but he wanted him (Adam) to admit it with his own lips. God knows everything. Genesis 3:9-12. And the Lord God called unto Adam, and said unto him, Where art thou? 10 And he said, I heard thy voice in the garden, and I was afraid, because I was naked; and I hid myself. 11 And he said, Who told thee that thou wast naked? Hast thou eaten of the tree, whereof I commanded thee that thou shouldest not eat? Now look at this other passage below... Exodus 4:2-3. And the Lord said unto him, What is that in thine hand? And he said, A rod. 3 And he said, Cast it on the ground. And he cast it on the ground, and it became a serpent; and Moses fled from before it. Would you say that God didn't know that moses was carrying a staff in his hand? Of course not...God knows all things (psalm 139:7-16) Now to your passage...I believe that God was having an interactive session with Balaam, hence the question. Sometimes God just allows us tell him what we want. (2 chronicles 1:7) Sometimes, God might decide to engage us in discussions...I've already provided two similar passages. So the question about him (God) being omniscience shouldn't be countered with very poor evidence...next time try to come up with something stronger. I hope I've answered your question. |
Wiegraf is everything ok? |
Well...he has a point. |
Logicboy03: Yet, Image123, Anony and co will say that atheists are evil when they are the ones doing the evil. ![]() |
His mates kiss their wives on the lips, and there he is kissing his wife on the nose. No wonder Nigeria is like this...its very obvious that he lacks knowledge about almost everything. ![]() |
JeSoul: lol. Loud and clear. Over.Roger that ![]() |
inurmind: Atheists believe in ghosts alright. Infact we believe in anything supernatural apart from God. We believe in the devil, in angels, in demons, in witches and wizards, in mermaids, in unicorns, we even believe in santa claus. But we refuse to believe in God.Then you're a hypocrite. |
maclatunji: Hello my dear friends. Would you be kind enough to answer me question?Allah is the Arabic word for God and has been so long before the existence of Islam. |
HumbledbYGrace: Dear brothers and sisters in Christ,I mean born again christians. There's nothing wrong with a born again christian going into modeling, provided you stick to the job and remove your mind from the temptations attached to it. |
@frosbel. From the bible, man was created mortal. He was in a condition in which death was a possibility or everlasting life was a possibility. Had he remained obedient, he would have continued to live forever, but he would always have remained mortal -- liable to death if disobedient. He (man) did not remain obedient, however. After his sin of disobedience, man was sentenced to death. Obviously, God could not sentence man to death if he were immortal and there was no possibility for him to die. Such a sentence by God would have been an empty threat. We must conclude, then, that Adam was mortal. You must also note that the whole world of mankind, are also born mortal. We are not only liable to death, but because we share in the death sentence given to Father Adam, we follow Adam’s course to the grave. 1 Cor. 15:22, “For as in Adam all die.” So permit me to say that man is mortal. |
*sighs* |
Cuddlemii: You never jamIts not fair o! I have frogged jumped, rolled on the floor, hit my head on the wall, hugged a transformer just to show that I care...but yet you still act hostile towards me. ![]() What have I not done? ![]() *@ all...I'm on the way to hang myself, please don't beg me.
My dear brother Crazyman i will like to correct you. This election is for all Igbos we the electoral team is doing our best to keep every igbo sons and daughters fully aware about the election process. As you know Eze ndigbo election cannot be conduct in any other section hence there is political section on this forum. To back up my claim that we the electoral team had been doing and still doing our best to keep all igbos and friends of Igbos on this forum aware about the election, i will like to present you with some evidence to back up this claim sir.Below link shows that we have visited other sections on this forum to inform them about the ongoing election. AUTO SECTION: https://www.nairaland.com/1077734/attention-attention-attention CULTURE SECTION: https://www.nairaland.com/1077727/attention-attention-attention BUSINESS SECTION: https://www.nairaland.com/1077693/attention-attention-attention I THINK THE MODERATORS IN ROMANCE SECTION DELETED OUR MESSAGE IN THAT SECTION, BUT I WONDER WHY THEY DID THAT HENCE THE POST WAS TO KEEP OUR BRETHREN INFORM. I MUST ASSURE YOU THAT WE ARE STILL VISITING OTHER SECTIONS TO KEEP THE AWARENESS GOING. @ CRAZYMAN I WANT TO BELIEVE THAT OUR PROVIDED EVIDENCE IS ENOUGH TO CHANGE YOUR THOUGHT ABOUT THIS ELECTION? THANKING YOU IN ANTICIPATION.
I see...maybe I was wrong about the whole strategy. Alright...we're all brothers, so it would be very wrong for us to fight each other. Since you said you're already advertising it in different sections, you can also advertise it in the NYSC section so the igbos there can participate. I won't remove it. Good luck |
lol@romantic Eze .moreover,I think hes a MOD too.So that disqualifies him ,except he would want to resign from being a MOD and stand for nomination.
See how you just contradicted yourself.Isn't odumchi a mod also? Did he resign before he was nominated? Just admit that this election is for politics section igbos and friends of the section. |
afam4eva: I think it's high time this thread got to the frontpage. Its already on the politics front page. What other front page are you referring to? |
He have defended Igboness on Romantic section many times especially when Igbo men are attacked! I have stood by him and they attacked my Igbo husband for standing up with him! ![]() He taught me some things addition to what my husband has taught me about Igbo culture/tradition and he always correct people when they have misspoken about Igbo culture/tradition. He was accused for being tribalist when he defend Igbos. If that isn't defending Igboness....I don't know what is!
Don't mind them. They're calling it Nairaland ndi igbo elections, as far as I can tell, its politics ndi igbo elections. Once you're not active in the politics section, even though you're 100% igbo, they won't recognize you. Since they've decided to involve only themselves, let's leave them alone. I'm outta here. |
I've been to two countries, Nigeria and biafra ![]() |

ItsModella: If there is one thing I hate about the court system in Nigeria, is the way they adjourn cases. December 20 is too far way, dammit!!!Patience my dear. Cases like this needs enough time...I believe the adjournment is a welcome development. It should give the police enough time to lay more charges against them. |
Cuddlemii: Nice! Yeah, patience is goodThanks for your proposed efforts and support, I really appreciate. You've proven to me that I can always lean on you in times of difficulties ![]() Thanks. |
