But why are some people so heartless and wicked? Why would someone go to the length of defrauding concerned citizens with heartbreaking stories, just to quench his greed? No wonder most Nigerians find it so difficult to help their fellow brother. There's so much dishonesty in the country, and you don't just know whom to trust. Hi everyone... I've been carrying this burden in my heart for some time now, and I feel its time I let it out. Dear christians, you're gradually replacing our lord's name (Christ) with the letter X why? To be honest its very bad...we're christians, we carry the image of christ not X. So I see no reason why people should say I'm an Xtian or merry Xmas etc. X if you're a mathematics student simply means unknown. So replacing christ name with X simply means that you have an unknown identity. It means you no longer bear the image of christ, but an unknown image. I know we all aren't perfect, and we are all subject to mistakes...but I pray that as God has opened our eyes to the truth, we would learn to call his son rightfully, and refrain from replacing his identity with an unknown letter. The same village but not your family relation.If a woman bears the same surname with you, you both are from the same village, but different families, why shouldn't you marry her? I'm fully aware that there are some cultures in Nigeria that forbid people from marrying someone from their village, but in cases where such laws are permitted, I see no reason why you should ask such a question. Finally...when next you have a problem you feel the house should know about, take your time to explain yourself so people can understand you properly before hitting the reply button. Its either he's no longer interested in you or he needs some space to ponder about his future. I would suggest that you give him some distance and wait for him to honestly ask for your forgiveness. Avoid crawling back to him, cos such action would make you look cheap and desperate. If he doesn't, and you feel you've waited long enough, then you can seek solace elsewhere. |
