That picture is photoshopped...if not, then someone should explain to me why there are no shadows on the floor. |
WinnieDPooh: Na wah o...and why is it that there is no recent News or Topic on Nairaland's front page this morning? I need something to keep me busy this morning joor or maybe i should go to the Celebrity, Politics or Career section.Celebrity section looks more like an amebo section to me (my own opinion though). Politics section is so hot these days...you must be strong enough to survive the heat? I would recommend career section...its cool and educative...and I moderate the section. |
tuktudicko: Same thing happened last year 2 chemical, civil and polymer&textile engineering.Yea I finished from there. |
Obaino2013: Helo dear, hw r u? Plz do dey ask 4 waec certificate in camp?No they don't...at least for now. But its among the requirements you'd be asked to present when applying for a job after your service. So if you haven't gotten yours yet, it would be wise to do so now. |
hepheyemmy: If a whole department iz not mobilized dat means dey are not accredited by NUC/ NBTE or their results iz not ready during d mobilization process.I disagree...I've witnessed accredited departments where everyone missed service. It happened in unizik 2010 (I think) electrical engineering...none of them made the batch A list. They were later mobilized for batch B and C respectively. |
WinnieDPooh: Yea actually you answered part of the question. What about a situation whereby a candidate does not have any problem? I'v seen cases where a whole department is not mobilized for service...I've seen that also...in such cases, the problem is from the department...it has nothing to do with the student. But in a situation whereby you can't find your name on the mobilization list, or your name was wrongly spelt, then the problem becomes yours. Cos you should be the one to point it out so it can be rectified during the errors and corrections. That's why I stated earlier that you must be right on time for every activity. |
WinnieDPooh: Goodmorning house please i need an answer to this question...You shouldn't bother yourself about that. All you should do is ensure you've cleared all your courses, done your clearance, liaise with your student affairs department to obtain your JAMB registration number if you don't have...once you do all these, the issue of the quota system of your faculty and department wouldn't come up neither would it change the time of your service, cos you will be mobilized along with your fellow colleagues. Your duty should is to ensure that you're not the one holding yourself from service, so you must be right on time for every activity. Those that don't make it to service along with their colleagues are those with one problem or the other...problems ranging from JAMB registration numbers to their inability to fully complete their clearance...etc. The quota system would only affect you if you fall into this category. Hope I answered your question. |
