unite4real: I will continue to remind all that CBN has learned from the last high interest rate and is better prepared now for speculators. The longer you wait for the 18%, the more you loose money by keeping your funds idle. It will be more painful if while waiting for 18%, rates start to drop after the election. I think if you get a 15% now, pls lock it. When it comes to money, it is a seed and every day counts. I need some clarifications on this T-bills if you can help. I bought some treasury bills for this 14/1/2019 and I opted for the 182 days duration. This been my first time, I am a bit confused. The rate I saw from the CBN is 11% but when I calculated the percentage I got from my bank when the money was collected it was 6.6% now my question is, is this how it works or the bank is just trying to reap me off? |

With your mentality, Nigeria has no future It's not about him accepting. It's about due process been followed. He is supposed to be first brought before the NJC who makes recommendation to the president who in turn forwards it to the Senate to get a two third majority to remove him as the CJN. THAT'S THE LAW. Only the Senate can remove him |

How Buhari can be a choice amongst 180 million Nigerians really baffles me. I really wish Nigerians open their eyes and heart to reality and closes it against ethnicity and religion. Ethnicity isn't going to put food on the table, neither would religion. Only a competent hand can take this country forward and to be truthful, that's not a characteristic of the current president. |

For me when i had no job and had NOTHING MUCH, my woman believed in me and my dreams as all i had at the time were my DREAMS. She nulged me to sucess. Seeing her believing in me made me work harder. Today she is my wife. She never met me already made. Today she lives in a duplex owned by me and I'm planning on getting her a car for her next birthday as she just gave me a handsome baby boy. PDP is still pdp One thing you need to know is that people make up Nigeria. When those people go to America, and Americans come to Nigeria, Nigeria will be developed in no time. What i am trying to say here is that. People make up PDP. PDP by itself is not corrupt. Most of the corrupt past PDP leaders are now in APC because they don't want to be persecuted. We shouldn't be myopic to tag a party corrupt. It's just individuals within a party that is corrupt, not the party itself. |

wirinet: The more I read excerpts from madam world Bank the more disappointed I become. She thinks Nigerians are fools, but it is she that is making a fool of herself. I wish I could copy and paste some of the ridiculous statements she made in this page.
First the Excess Crude Account is illegal and foreign to the constitution, there are no laws governing it's creation and operation. So anything done in that regard is illegal.
The money in the Excess Crude Account does not belong to the FG, but to all three tiers of government, so even if it was illegally created and managed by the FG, monies cannot be spent from the account without the accent of the three tiers. Okonjo-Iweala is talking like the money is the FGs, to spend or save as she likes.
The book says "He was strongly supported by Governor Adams Oshiomole of Edo state, who was very vocal in his disapproval and suspicions of the Federal Government’s management of the Excess Crude account" The main problem was the Governors did not trust Okonjo-Iweala and her principal with their money.
Finally, the governors were not after FG's money, they wanted their own money, is it by force to help them save their money for them. What happens to the share of the money controlled by Okonjo-Iweala? Why did she not save the share of the Excess Crude Account under her control? It is always safe to save for the rainy days. If the governors demanded for proper accountability of the ECA account and it wasn't given to them, it would be wrong. But saying you want to share the money for "elephant" projects in the state is wrong. The irony of the whole thing now is that it is this same governors now that are saying the past government left an empty treasury when they were the ones who initially wanted the treasury to be empty. |

Why would tiers of govt cone together to share money particularly the state governments, can't they formulate policies on how to be independent of these fraud sharing formular?
Several states can make huge revenues through tourism + hospitality, natural resources, building correct human capacity....
I think the 2019 election should be a deciding factor, what genuine reforms are you bringing as a camdidate to the table in terms of revenue generation, job creations, smes,.... If you don't want the state governors to always come to Abuja every month to share money, ask the government of the day to implement true federalism/ restructure. That is the only way we can grow as a nation |

So even if he's not giving to the Pastor? Is he giving to strangers? Is he giving to the fatherless? Is he giving to the window? The law of giving works for those who follow its principles.
To reiterate what I said earlier, giving should be by the leading of the Holy Spirit, Including your tithing. I know the Bible said bring your tithe into my storehouse. But what's the storehouse? You're the storehouse. You're the temple of God. It simply means before you spend that money ask God how he wants you to spend it? Christians grow up. I think I TOTALLY agree with you on this |
