Slimghost, pls tell your people not to buy Oh. Don't say you were not fore-warned.
Tell them to be patient, a new administration that will do the right is coming, So they would pay premium on their allocations and not loose sleep over disturbances from original Land owners: Awka, Isiagu and Nibo

No doubt the criminal gang that held the State Hostage will leave soon. Every criminal has an expiring date. Let's keep doing what we can, God will expose them big time with this election

Please if you have relations interested in
getting forms or paying the premium of N3-4
million for the much talked about Green wood
City by Obi whose tenure ends soon warn
them to use their money for something else.
Awka people are out to deal with anybody
trying to possess the land this is against the
background of insincerity of Mr Obi's
Government which pay compensations to
land owners only on the pages of
newspaper. None of the towns and
communities around recieved the Billions
voted as compensation for them, they were
given very little or none.
Tell your friends, brothers, traders, others to
WAIT for another administration. It is a fraud
oh! another way of enriching Peter Obi and
his co-travellers

9japipper: In response to OBI fans
this is just how I feel about Obi'.
I share your sentiments.
All, and I mean all, the companies call it resorts, shopping malls, oil facility, he claimed to have invested in for the sake of our children, he has more shares/ownership in them than the stakes the whole state has in them. Some he has over 60% stake in while the State has a meager 5-15%. Just name the investment. Name it.
A friend's uncle, wealthy, met him with a group of investors. They planned on building a number of industries in Anambra. They came after hearing the noise from Mr. Obi about being investment friendly.
Guess what happened, they came asking for Logistics and few in put from Government like the land acquisition. Then came a private meeting with Obi, he requested that they should allow him own a substantial quantity of the stake(personal) in the investment for exchange of the State Gov. support. They even negotiated to allow him own a little but he insisted on owning a large chunk. The guy and his American -investors friends left dissappointed. He, an Anambrarian was so hurt by the deceit that has been on in the State.
I don't know why it is hard for Chino, Chima-Adeoye, Bestviewer, to see Mr Obi agenda in doing everything possible to enthrone Obiano.
If Obi wants to be a Hero, he should return all he stole to the state and apologize for the looting.
Politics › What Lies Ahead In This Agendum; Spured By Greed And Avarice by Cuche(op): 11:33pm On Oct 23, 2013
Obiano has no history of vileness, he is calm although he seems to lack confidence and guts that left some wondering if he had truely worked as a bank MD.
One should be worried that Obi/Umeh appeared to be succeeding in the effort to install Obiano through buying up anybody and anything buyable. First, they were able to wither the storm of the double registration which was undisputably true. Secondly, their financial presence is felt on all communities with grants for nothing flying all over. Thirdly, there has been increased efforts to loby traditional rulers and Church leaders through financial inducement.
Although it is unforeseable for Obiano to win any Local Government Area in any of Anambra Central and South Senatorial zones. The reason bothers on his acceptance as against the political structures of APC/Ngige in the Central and PDP (with so many names in the South). Obi still believes he can give this ambition a good shot with nothing to spare especially in the area of financial lobying.
Would it be better if he took the money and ran or invested

Personally, i am glad he isn't leaving uncompleted projects for his successor. Let after he left Govt. House.

I expect Gov. Peter Obi to continue his final push to actualize all his projects until the eve of May 29th,2014.
He is already in the business of emptying all the state treasure and will dry it before he leaves especially losing grip of the state with the impending defeat of his hope of continued rule of the State.
Let me remind you that for the exaggerated road contracts he is taking 10% up-front and then the extras, depending on the negotiations with the contractors. Why is he paying so much as mobilization to the contractors as against the due process/norms for Government contracts. Is it not to make more money available for the election?

His tenure ends in March not May 2014.
The road contracts will definitely spill over to another administration.
Please Ma, look again at the story, there is 18 months for some of the roads

FreeGlobe: one wonders if the skin bleaching Willy obiano will not perform worst than his master Peter Obi considering the number of masters he has signed agreement with. His tenure will concentrate on settling or withdrawing from those masters. God forbid. Great write up
There is no tenure extension for Obi, his tenure ends in March 2014.
By the mercy of God and the long rope He extends to thieves, Mr Peter will live to handover, repent and return all he stole from Anambra, including the Shopping Mall at Kado area, Abuja; Stakes or call it shares in Shoprite nig, Sabmiller, bank, oil facility, etc He will also include an apology letter for my people.
He may also decide to be a fugitive by running to America straight from handover venue, the incoming administration will definitely probe him to prove he was no Saint that he claimed to be.
You may not know, but all the oppositions are united in kicking him out. He must go

Popularity war still on
Last week it was Ngige vs Apga at Obosi, Ifeanyi Ubah at Agulu, the home town of Obi.
After watching a clip of the reception granted Mr. Ifeanyi Ubah by the Agulu people, I reaffirmed my position that Mr. Obi under performed. How else will the very village of a serving Governor give an opposition figure such a re-sounding welcome.
Had Obi done better with the resources of the State he would have placed this coming election far out of the reach of the oppostions including Ngige Popularity war still on

But as far the development of Anambra is concerned Ngige is a better option. Again, Ifeanyi Ubah developmental plan for the State is impressive

liberty300: Op, what is wrong with you. How can you compare anambra state which it's capital was created in 1996 to lagos which it's capital was created before the 1920's. Aren't you ashamed of yourself? By my judgement, anambra is developing at a fast pace compared to lagos that has been there for more than 100yrs
I am not just talking of development but the ability to manage a complex structure like a State comparing Mr Fashola whose managerial ability amazes me, with the great thief who calls himself "technocrat"

Fidelity + Manny + FSB=N50b capitalization
Honesty? 250m was ferried to Lagos Next plc monthly from Anambra until they were caught and they changed route to Abuja. Which bank was making that Cash available?
If Obi had done well, even if half of what Fashola has done with Lagos, he would have placed the coming election beyond the reach of APC and Ngige. Now he has become a preacher of "technocrat "

gleaf: Let me take u on Fidelity bank brand! Why will you reject such a brand that acts like its name Fidelity? Why will you reject people that made it scale through the turbulent times of banking industry, when other banks were finding it difficult to recapitalise with 25billion, this brand paid almost fifty to recapitalise without any merger or sacking of workers to cope, rather they kept on opening more branches. I am not a staff , am not even speakingor marketing for them. The character of people they present are pple with integrity and humility of the highest order.
We have tested them in leadership position and they performed very well and happens to be the best in financial prudence which 95percent of our current leaders lack. So why will a sane human being reject such a brand? Though I will understand why greedy and consienceless pple will reject them , cos they can't stand honety. As for Anambra! We are voting Fidelity(if that is what you call Obiano or APGA) for continuity and progress of the grass roots.
Politics › It Is More Difficult To Govern Lagos Than Anambra. But Fashola... by Cuche(op): 9:43pm On Oct 19, 2013
Lagos is such a complicated State. From the sea of heads that circulate within its borders, to the dense residential and commercial houses, from the assembly of different cultures, ethnic groups to the overwhelming presence of all communities of agencies of governance; the armed forces, banking groups, Church headquarters, to the unique terrain of land and canals, the quantity of waste and refuse churned out daily, the population of miscreants available within it.

But what amazes me most is that Mr Fashola B. has been able to manage this state to the extent that it looked as though Lagos is any other State. The way he has done it made it look simple. But for the compensations due the owners of certain buildings most of the strategic roads would have been close to complete dualization. Another thing is that he has short medium and long term plans on developing the State. The miscreants that flooded Lagos State have been reduced through meaningful engagements most of them are working in road traffic control

Having no "technocrat" experience from Fidelity Bank as someone would say, yet he did what the "technocrat" could not do in over 7 years.
Yes there may be some similarity between the two states like the presence of Large markets and touts but Lagos governance is definitely a more daunting challenge. Yet this Fashola...

Today, the administration of Mr Fashola has become a reference point for those clamoring for a change in the leadership of my darling State. We don't need Fidelity brand of "technocrats" any longer than March 2014. I don't have anything against Fidelity bank plc except that the people who use the name for their campaign could have done better in moving Anambra forward and possibly making it a reference point.

Ubah because he has been on grassroot campaign for years now and has a lot of developmental ideas.

if you are not from Anambra, he does not need you because you can't vote for his stooge.
Rivers State took over 13,000 teachers from all over the country, starting pay iz about 100k.
Obi and APGA have 4 months to go suddenly he remembers he had not employed workers in the State.
Suddenly he is starting some capital projects, here and there, many of which will take years to complete. All in the bid to impress before the elections
Peter Obi, you too much
But remember Ohakim did this trick in Imo State and still lost the election.

Obi, Umeh are only out to implant another conduit for siphoning money. How come criminals never say enough. They are hardly satisfied.
“How can someone from a different part of
the country come here to tell us who should
lead us? Does APGA choose the governor of
Lagos State for Lagosians? We shall choose
our leaders ourselves and our leaders shall
come from our own platform, APGA. We shall
not allow any stranger, no matter how
powerful to come here to dictate to us. We
shall resist that with the last drop of strength
in us,” Chief Umeh declared.
Which other State has APGA in control of affairs?
They could have given Anambra an exceptional leadership, that would have sold APGA to other regions of the country. Had they done well, the saying would have been "go to Anambra and see development " and there won't be need of spending the State money on getting actors/actresses for campaign

Threats of industrial action by the Anambra labour over non implementation of the minimum wage in the senior cadre of the State civil service has again be rebuffed by the State Governor Mr Peter Obi.
You will recall that Anambra State pays the least to workers in its payroll in the Federation. A civil servant on grade level 17 in the State goes home with N150,000 while his counterpart in Federal service and most states of the federation goes home with between N350000-400000.
Mr Obi spoke at Onitsha while trying to convince the traders to vote for Obiano whom he described as the hope for continuity and the best man for the job. He explained that Labour has no
justifiable reason to go on strike since the
State Government has met the demands
of Labour in respect of Minimum Wage.
