Great article on Mr Obi. I want to believe that Mr Ibe, the publisher of Global patriot was adequately compensated with a new set of desk publishing tools for his efforts in promoting Mr Obi. If only articles like this do the promotion, Obi will definitely be warming up for Vice-President in the said 2019. The dishonesty of Obi is a well known fact among many Anambrarians. He has acquired the art of sweet talks, deception, whitewash and has taken eye service to a new level.
In the last election, he was given a taste of his favourite meal by the PDP stalwarts who left him to campaign alone. His cunning devices were met by a superior cunning moves by the Emeakayi, the Ubahs and Co.
You know what, Anambrarians voted Obiano in the fairest election we have yet witnessed in the state and it was the best thing to do. For some us who have seen that to a large extent Obiano is a straight forward person, articulate and possesses a much superior I.Q to the former, with a great vision for the state and he doesn't parade himself as a Saint, frolicking Clergies and crooked religious leaders around, Obiano has remained a better alternative to Mr Peter Obi whitewash governance.
One area I think Obiano should pay attention to, is the spread of road networks. Get new ones underway and repair existing ones, and see Peter Obi's propaganda machinery die a natural death.

Politics / Re: 2019: Buhari Wins Atiku In A Public Opinion Poll Conducted By Sahara Reporters by Cuche: 8:51am On Nov 28, 2017
Atiku can't defeat Buhari in free and fair election. Educated elders in the South East who constitute the advisers of the voting population, village leaders and traditional rulers see Atiku as constitutionally corrupt. If Atiku becomes the flag bearer of PDP, he will have his corrupt image to contend with, not Buhari. Sule Lamido or Rabui Musa Kwankwaso is the best bet for PDP. Although, Buhari is not the most loved in the South, many people prefer him to Atiku. All that GMB needs to do is to put up solid infrastructure projects in neglected places in the next 18 months and not only will he win in 2019, the victory will be emphatic. Already, Anambra people are beginning to see some light in Buhari for not subverting the wishes of the people. It is a big plus for him going into 2019.
NB. somebody commented his friends voted and Atiku remained @ 26% grin that does not invalidate the Sahara Reporter-poll. I strongly believe the poll is a strong reflection of Atiku's status.
If the population that participated in the pool is large enough, 20 votes can't move 26% to 27%. Depending on the population size, 20 votes can move 26.001% to 26.01%.

Ifeanyi ubah must be compensated with senate seat
It would be very easy for Ifeanyi Ubah to clinch the Anambra South Senatorial sloth from Andy Ubah. In fact, Ifeanyi Ubah should have been in the Senate if he had contested previously. He has the charisma and 'bigger than my mates' figure to do well in the Senate. Although, the south zone will produce a Gov in 2021 which I believe will also be a walkover for anybody from Apga leveraging on the achievements of Willie Obiano by then, but the party's flag will be keenly contested, not dashed to an individual. Ifeanyi Ubah will definitely represent Anambra South well in the Senate and I think he should strongly consider that in 2019.

Below are Anambra team led by the SSG the last time they went to China Aviation Design Institute that designed the airport just before the construction began.
Anambra has got out the required licenses for the project, if not it won't even take off.

Are these people naturally this hateful? Sometimes, when you tackle them I'm inclined to thinking that you are overdoing it but I am now having a rethink.
This nigga does not think the Billions pumped in to reclaim Eko Atlantic for residential homes and a few office rental spaces is worth the entire headache to the investor. But building a cargo airport and airport city by the Chinese who by virtue of their foreign trade policy are re-investing in Africa is not worth it. What kind of Jealousy is this? Read in between line you could see the madly jealous nigga and his sponsors may have muted to Buhari not to grant the license for the take off citing his cost theory which neither the Chinese investor nor Anambra Government are complaining of.
Thankfully, Chinese does not listen to all those theories the type that comes from Jealous 'America', they invest where they want and they have been better for it.

You keep posting pictures when facts are reeled out. If we were to take ur mantra of PPP on a face value, Anambra is going to kick in around 30-40% of the money..$600-$800m on a cargo airport. What is the return on investments? Who are the prospective patrons?

Chidoka will NOT amount to much if he continues making pro IPOB noises. IPOB is anti - the entire democratic process. He also goofed trying to ridicule the airport project without facts. So apparently , the Chinese are putting up most of the money. The state is landlocked and Niger river dredging is not delivering the river ports, warehouses and logistics infrastructure that the rapidly growing commercial hub needs. Sometimes you keep your mouth shut when you don't have facts or when someone else has started what you should have done as aviation minister.
Fancy speeches are good but that state has hungry young people.
Chidoka messed up by sticking out his neck to discredit the aerotropolis project. That project is unique in design and the job of every Anambrarian who has the interest of the state at heart should be to encourage the Chinese to commit to the project. If there should be detractors, they shouldn't be Igbo people.
Being a Minister of Aviation by political appointment doesn't make one an authority in aviation matters. Ms Odua served Igbo interest without fear of anybody while she was there, Chidoka's impact was only felt at Road Safety Com. nothing of him was heard in Aviation matters.

But Obiano raised a valid point during the debate. He's the only candidate that can ensure power goes to the south after four years. Others will definitely seek reelection. If zoning arrangement should be followed, then Obiano should win. Nwoye and Obaze who are from the north should wait another 20 years while Chidoka from central should wait for 12 years. You get me?
Sad for Nwoye and Obaze. Zoning was factored in and Anambra South are getting impatient to see their turn. They all rallied round Obiano because they know the chance of smelling that seat with either Nwoye or Obaze is bleak. All the men with clout from the South (Nnewi, Aguata, Orumba) are behind Obiano. That's politics for you. When Peter Obi introduced zoning it was for selfish reason we had better candidates than the relatively unknown Obiano, but he sold him on zoning grounds. Today, most of us now believe in the zoning. It should be extended to National level.

Chidoka is being political, he thought that having worked as an aviation minister that nobody will fault his points. From Tarzan to Umuokpu sections of that Onitsha-Awka express is less than 18km, reconstructing it is a simple issue that shouldn't be discussed on the same page with a cargo airport of that size, with jet fuel stations, humongous warehouses, airport city and capacity for hundreds of planes well accomodated.
Enugu and Asaba airports are just runways, there was no vision in the designs.
FG may not refund the money spent by the states on Federal roads. If I were the State Governors I will ensure the state owned alternative routes are good. Till the FG takes the decision to either hand over the roads to states with a grant or own the roads properly, jumping into Federal road reconstruction is bad business. That doesn't stop the state from doing remedial works to ensure the roads are passable to trucks.

FG agencies will run an aspect of the Airport but the project of that size can transform a village to a city and the state stands to benefit so much from it. Credit should be given to Obiano for conceptualizing it. It is not just an airport like any other.

and I keep asking where were the monies peter obi said he was saving for Anambra state, I remember when he was saying that Anambra cant embark on "Akwa Ibom like projects because Anambra was poor and gets in 1 year what Akwa Ibom gets in one month" today, obiano has constructed bigger projects than Akwa Ibom has done and is still paying salaries depite increasing it by 15% from what peter obi paid. This is why I always say Peter obi silently stole over 100 billion from Anambra state
He stole more than that reason being that he didn't even give his party men a little to chop.
He supervised the whole money from Local Govt, IGR of which he gave figures that suit him, Grants from agencies, State allocation, ecology funds, PDP campaign funds for 2015, and other special funds from his relationship with Goodluck Jonathan. He did some work anyway but it was over hyped when you consider the money that came into the state that period. I knew from the first day he hijacked PDP from the stalwarts that they will desert him and Obaze.

I would like Obiano to make roads the highlights of his second term. Repair existing roads and create new ones transversing e.g Awka Norths to Enugu boundary, Ogbaru to Imo boundary, Orumba communities to Achi- Enugu boundary, liase with Wike to connect our boundary with Ndoni Rivers state. These roads will make life sweeter for motorist who transit the state and will speak well of his administration in many years to come.

Obiano performed despite the recession, he doesn't have a rival when you factor in that it is unfair to wrestle power from Anambra North. They should be allowed to serve out their remaining four years. Afterwhich power goes to the South Zone.
I don't expect any Southern coalition to vote in any new person except they want their turn suspended for another 8 years and even more.
Only the cabals can help Nwoye but they don't seem to like him that much. If not, it is very easy to force in some results and tell Obiano to go to court.
Peter Obi has lost out, and he knows he is out of the game.
He will probably retire from politics after November 18. I am not saying that Obaze will not perform or is unelectable, but teaming up with Obi whose only interest is to kick out Obiano is his undoing.
What I want Obiano to focus more on, in his second term is roads.

Obiano performed above average despite the recession. There must be loopholes which political opponents will use for campaign in an election period.
But he did very little in road infrastructure.
What is difficult in patching up Uga-Ekwulobia- Nise Roads, Igboukwu-Awkaetiti road, Adazi- Nnokwa Road, Nnewi-Ozubulu-Okija Road, Ifite Awka-Amansea Road, Mgbakwu RadioNigeria road, inner roads at Nnewi, Onitsha, Awka and many others like these, that were utterly neglected.
We were in recession, no spare money for construction is understandable but no money to at least patch the failed sections is inexcusable.
Buhari will not come to patch the roads for him. In fact, when he returns for second term, roads should be his main focus if he wants to remembered for something good.

No force can stop Dr Tony Okechukwu Nwoye from becoming the next governor of Anambra.
This statement is the height of exaggeration. With the hatred for anything Buhari and APC in the South East, it will take many forces to install APC in Anambra. The cabal at Aso Rock will work extra hard to make that happen.
I am not part of the people that say rubbish about Hon. Tony Nwoye. If Nwoye gets installed, he will surprise people with projects, he is a passionate person by nature. If Obaze wins he will also work, Peter Obi can't count on him to open up the state coffers to him and for Obiano, I would want to see how much of the Mous will materialize in the next 4 years. They all want to be part of the good side of history.
With the way Ngige is hailed despite leaving office more than 10 years ago and joining a political party dubbed the Devil's party, no incoming Gov @ Awka will fail to impress with projects, none will like to be treated with disdain like Rochas and Theodore Orji.

While I think that Obiano did not cover the expected roads. I personally expected at least 80km of fresh tarring per year from him, making at least 320kms in 4 years. But then one has to factor in somethings, one of which was the recession. Prices of things skyrocketed while revenues declined sharply. Cements, rods and bitumen doubled in prices till this very moment. Compare that with Mr Obi's time when crude oil sold for as high as $110 per barrel, for 3 straight years we sold marginally more than budget benchmarks. They even had ECAs. I strongly believe Obiano will catch up with the number of roads expected of him by the 2nd term.

The desparation in Mr Peter Obi can't be wholly captured with 'hired' interviews like this one. I just pray he doesn't get heart attack when the winner is declared by November 20. Obi has more of PDP people to contend with, how can he come from nowhere to hijack the party. Most of the core PDP men do not want him and his anointed. Obaze of a man was the engine room of Obi's administration, he did so well under that administration. Most of us were surprised when He, Mr Obi worked against Obaze emergence as APGA flag bearer in 2013. Although, he was compensated with SSG but was politically bullied out.
On the other hand, Obiano has performed above average and I want to see how he fairs with the Mous and the other ambitious projects he contracted. Besides, Anambra North should see out its remaining four years and the probable way to see to it, is through Obiano doing the 4 years.
