Each State in the region has its areas of comparative advantage which it could fully exploit , however, there still areas of cooperation and partnership with other states. It is near impossible to export Anambra oil without tackling the issue of accessibility to the Ocean, alternatively is to have pipelines all the way to the coast. The challenges with pipeline construction and militia interference is unpredictable, creating understanding with neighboring states will help so much There has been deliberate attempt to landlock the SE region by the Hausa- fulani mappers. Abia State is the closest we have to the Atlantic Ocean but a small portion of AkwaIbom lies between, we could reach out to our brothers there to discuss the possibility of building a Canale /Channel through to Abia circumventing the Andoni axis. It is by far cheaper to build a Channel than all the other proposed alternatives I realized we could also have mini dams at our small rivers with capability of generating 0.25-1mw of electricity for communities/ hamlets even medium industries in the SE ; with the developments and improvements in turbine technology Discussions like that, I expect Anambra to lead the rest of the SouthEast and luckily we have a technocrat as governor 6 Likes 1 Share |

The solution to waste management in largely populated areas is to reawaken people's consciousness that waste is money. Partnering with the Germans and the Japanese on this will be great. They are a success in churning rubbish to multi million dollars ventures. Funnily enough the recycle plant get its raw material(waste) free of charge I've been studying the feasibility of turning my sewage tank to biogas for electricity generation. One group is promoting that although I'm yet to be convinced of its sustainability. I mean beyond the video clip demonstrations 1 Like |

Those who believed the amount brandished by Obi as the income of the State during his tenure are the most gullible species. Mr Peter was clever by half, worked very hard at concealing his steps. First, he painted a picture of himself as a Saint and hung a portrait of a wretched Anambra State before the Donor agencies. He worked his way into the team at the Federal level, held clandestine meetings, got his share of all the shareables. Made so much from disbursements of GEJ campaign funds where he served more or less as the accountant Finally, piling the thick fogs over the eyes of many via his claimed seventy-five billion leftover without at the same time telling us what part of it was meant to offset the Contractual agreement in the projects he hurriedly started before leaving office By the time, the antigraft searchlight is beamed at the Crook not many will be surprised knowing his antecedents and unquenchable taste to be listed in the league of humble billionaires. I will be delighted to point directions where the EFCC/ICPC should look 3 Likes |

FreeGlobe: I have made attempts at reaching some men close to Obi to plead with him to secretly or if he desires openly return his loots (which were, by the way, massive both at State Level and at Federal level) to Anambra State Government. Buhari, we all know is a vindictive being and irked by the "primitive" stealing will not spare any particularly those close associates of GEJ who were busy sharing the spoil behind him The Constitution of Antigraft agencies as it were does not permit the return of confiscated property to the State of Origin (Anambra) 1 Like 1 Share |

The bogus nature of the terms for the construction of that bridge may have precipitated the rather rash action of PMB in suspending the construction. 1. The 'snailish' pace of work at the site may indirectly suggest that the actual sum for that project may not have been much in excess of 30 billion naira and expectedly will be provided by the Federal Government and the job we have seen so far is how far the 10 billion naira already provided can do 2. That some elements are warming up to make 78 billion naira in the purported BOT scheme, which will see Southeastern and Southern people paying heavily to use that bridge 3. It will be safe to predict that these elements will not hesitate to demolish the existing bridge to force more patronage of the goldmine of a bridge 4. The fact that JB has made itself a willing tool in the hands of men who have sworn to put States in perpetual debt, through quotations for project that make even the quality of projects in Germany jealous 5. Most concession projects in the recent history are replete with the Devils long spoon of the bid winners The suspension of the project in the interim will give room for investigations and demystifying the project, hopefully the 2nd NB construction will restart in no distant time under terms that will not take our people for a ride |

Pastor JohnKennedy Opara led a group of men to demand that Anambra State Government make available a certain amount of money to the commission, a Federal Government established agency, the money which the leader of the delegation stated will be used by the commission to provide meals for the intending pilgrims The Federal government has provision for the pilgrims commission in it's budget including other incentives, recently Forex rate of 160 naira to dollars was approved for this same board Thinking it was business as usual, when people use God's name to appropriate government money mostly un- accounted for, to themselves and religious establishments they represent through the cooperating public servants who do not realize that the business of Government has many public projects competing for attention from the scarcely enough Benjamins |

There are so many incriminating documents showing he has been the brain in former President's money laundering team a.k.a economic team My pain is that the money will be found soon enough and will not be reunited with Anambra but with the Federal box. What can be done about the harassment Ibos face at the Agbor/Asaba axis I had expected Okorosha to take the matter up with his Northern associates and leaders who dominate Nigerian Customs The question is how come the North with at 10 border states does have this kind of terrible and victimizing policing Is Agbor/Asaba a port or are they boundary towns And most often all these Custom posts along Lagos -Benin- Agbor-Asaba -Onitsha- Owerri are just tolls to extort Ibo businesses Normally those goods are checked at the boundaries and ports where the duties are paid but in a bid to extort Ibo they tag the papers fake which is then un-tagged as soon as tangible sums are parted with Suggestions Please 1 Like |

Now that Madam Iwela, Dieziani and the rest are negotiating their way out through cooperating with the Buhari Crew. I don't know what people like Obi who were instrumental and consultants in the gigantic laundering of billions of dollars will be doing Run Odenigbo, Why not the truth, and other Obi worshippers, advise your god that he can secretly return the money to Obiano so he will start rehabilitation of his potholes -poorly constructed roads. Other.Ex Govs who stole but love their states are secretly returning their loots because once it is recovered by the Federal agencies it does not return to the State of Origin but to the Federal purse. I personally believe that finding a way to compel our governors to be visionaries, to use the money accruing to the States to develop the States, our States, will be a much better engagement for Radio Biafra while creating the awareness for the Region 2 Likes |

Obiano is doing well He maybe flamboyant and swagalicious but he sure has an uncommon Leadership qualities than all the rest. His vision of making Anambra a modern city like Dubia though delusional to set such target which outweighs the potential resources of the State. He has kept faith with projects which will have far reaching benefits for our State and Igboland Obi also tried at least he didn't bequeath huge debts as some State Governors did for their successors but he actually made so much from the State devising means of converting better sums eventually to his pockets while at the same time making sure that no road he constructed should have a lifespan of greater than 3 years? Will Obiano start the reconstruction of those roads which are already failing some despite paucity of use? Now at the expense of other areas of development, this was why some of us kept shouting at the poor quality of Obi' s projects 9 Likes 1 Share |

It is too early for Peter Obi to sponsor the rhyme making rounds like ' no second term for Obiano' It is not in his power to decide the second term of Obiano. This report of Government taxations and levies is one Obiano's government should handle with diplomacy. They must first structure the taxations and/or levies in a very transparent manner. Maybe a card for each trader, the records both at tax office should be devoid of clouds. The tax collectors must be highly professional and seen to be men of integrity Civic education campaigns must be undertaken, brought to the door steps of the traders with emphasis on what the tax could do for the State. Obiano should be willing to prove that his tax regime will be different from what Mr Peter Obi and his uncle Nwobu-Alor Sylvester did otherwise traders will not pay and there will be trailer loads of court cases. For the records, Peter Obi tax regime was the most dishonest in the history of Anambra State and had more resistance to it than all the previous administrations combined 2 Likes |

Mallam is not worth N90 Billion. He may worth that or more after serving out his term as Kaduna State Governor. He has done well by declaring his assets and I think he will also do well as the governor of Kaduna State But he should start making restitution to persons whose property he was said to have seized on the guise of illegal structure while demolishing some, many were converted to personal property of wives and cronies. Failure to do the restitution and compensations will keep gruesome deaths at his gates |
