Politics / Re: Imo Gubernatorial Election Results - Collation Live by Cuche: 11:12pm On Apr 12, 2015 |
I was already thinking the PDP rigging machinery will carry the day based on earlier results. As a matter of fact, I was busy analyzing what this portends for the Ibo and the likely ministerial portfolio Okorocha will occupy should there be a new government. It is good to hear that Okorocha is leading at least a voice for this zone at the center 1 Like |

ozoigbondu:Mr, zero vote will be suspicious .Election rigging is a professional job There were no elections in Rivers and Abia, intimidations and ballot box snatching I dare say, the thugs modus operands is more like military men. This happened on the 28th Mar, including underaged voters in the North, noting was done to correct the anomalies We've got a long way to go as far as credible polls are concerned. 1 Like |

Okorosha should start lobbying for a Ministerial seat under Buhari led FG. The die is cast, PDP rigging machine became insurmountable for APC. It appears SE and SS states want to play complete opposition in the coming administration Nigeria has a long way to go as far as free and credible elections are concerned 1 Like |
Politics / Re: I Will Stop Governor Obiano From Joining APC – Ogene by Cuche: 8:38pm On Apr 04, 2015 |
I don't see anything wrong in Obiano moving to a new party. I said it times without number on this forum that the only person who had a pact with Ojukwu is Mr Peter Obi and unfortunately, he failed to build APGA especially his reluctance to conduct LG elections all along. Obiano joining a bigger party will kind of be protective for him and being a Governor makes him automatically the leader of whichever party he wants to join in the State . However, if he fails to secure upto 80% of the State Assembly for APGA on the 11th then he should not have a second thought in joining a bigger party. Should PDP get hold of the whole state Assembly and Obiano is not in PDP, their primary project will be to IMPEACH him. He can't build APGA, it is a project destined to fail, it is not his fault. But then his contemplating APC membership is not bad, it will benefit the State more, I think it is too early for that afterall he is not contesting any election till 2018. If I were in his shoe I will enter PDP for now that will give me the right footing to ward of aggressors and because I will be better placed being the Governor with both the money and the clout meanwhile, remain committed to delivering quality projects to win the goodwill of the masses |

Gamechanger:Right, I am not a lawyer and will not like to be one in a country like 9ja . I don't think APGA will get much from going to court, the evidence will be elusive to obtain and our judges are specialist electoral 'case dismissals' for reasons best known to them Where I think APGA should focus on is the State Assembly elections. They should sit down and put their acts together, getting 100% of the seats is achievable and that will be in the best interest of the state for now. One way to checkmate politicians who will give orders to the security agencies in the President's name concerning aiding malpractices is to befriend SGF, Sen Anyim even if it is for these 8 days. When that is out of the way, their efforts at campaigning and the Willie is Working will reflect in the election results |

asha80:If actually Obiano wrote that address, then he has not fully understood the politics of Anambra. I mean which court was he expecting to overturn the fact that PDP won. The election that brought him to power was bad enough that even a candidate (Nwoye) had his name removed from the voters register 2weeks to that election. Or was the INEC crooks who shared N60 million just to frustrate Idemili North voters not enough evidence Did any Court annul the elections? |

They really do not want Buhari, as a matter of fact, any successful move to stop the handover will be considered heroic by them. Don't be surprised when you learn that CAN will be giving the impetus with talks like "Buhari is not God's Choice, save Nigeria " 1 Like |
Politics / Re: Anambra light of the nation, eastern economy power house. by Cuche: 8:32pm On Apr 02, 2015 |
asha80:Trusting in any assurance from President Jonathan is not the solution. GEJ is still confused at the moment and may remain that way till the PDP top guys make the final decision on whether to give a final push on frustrating the handover or not. The guys who give the others use the President's name even when he is not aware of it. They wouldn't mind making the call directly from the President's private line Let's not forget they are still in power and in near absolute control of the apparatus of Government be it police or military. However, one language the rigging agents understand is how much card do you place on the table. They will be able to disobey directives from the oga who gives very little and issues more orders as against the oga who displays more card. I think Obiano should pay Anyim a visit, going with gentlemen who are good negotiators, the earlier the better. Make a conclusive deal between now and the 11th after all Anyim does not really like Obi or his friends Even a 50-50 situation in Anambra State House of Assembly will not favour Obiano or the State Government . I personally do not think Buhari will care less about the APGA-PDP battle when the chips are down |

Zonacom:You are very right. Most Anambra billionaires were made by... except Buhari is becomes a changed man or the handover does not materialize The only draw back to the punitive hands is that we have some reps in APC Okorocha, Ngige, Izunaso and co. who were steadfast with the Party |

FreeGlobe:He is not yet done with scheming. In fact, the scheming has just began. If that fails he will join team Bode George on exile And will possibly be forced to handover his loot to the Anambra. I can assure you that amount will hasten the development of the State I hope APGA has learnt some lessons with the outcome of Senatorial elections. They can still capture the State Assembly seats by doing the basic things. And that is more important to forestall the activities of schemers |
Politics / It Is Unlikely For PDP To Handover Power To APC by Cuche: 6:47pm On Mar 31, 2015 |
I've believed Nigeria was ripe for a change, an alternative to GEJ. Even if GEJ is willing to handover his office, PDP is not and will not handover to Buhari. The reason is simple, all the former governors, PDP officials who had stolen upto half of all revenues that had accrued to their states had found solace and pardon in the arms of PDP either as advisers or as sympathizers. In addition, some of them have been working towards a ministerial slot I am sure they will not rush into self exile at this point without giving a fight to ensuring Buhari does not ascend to the throne. They will not handover their loots just like that and so they must re-strategize to frustrate any handover to Buhari from taking place. The fear of what Buhari could do to them is the instigating factor So between now and May, a lot of things are expected with the legal technicalities being the least in the disqualification plans, there could also be plans of elimination and substitution It is not yet uhuru for APC or Gen Buhari. The likelihood of a handover is very slim, some other persons may say it is non-existent I wish Nigeria the best and the looters disengaged from continued stealing which was the Hallmark of GEJ's 4 years |

All the debaters did well in presenting their points. Although, this does not appear to be a debate I am particularly impressed with the submissions of Chief Martins Onovo, I would have GEJ find a portfolio for him in the next administration GEJ was very composed and acted maturely. Atimes he was seen jotting the points made by the other participants. He was not at anytime caught with rebuttals and menacing retortions about the low performace of his administration in some areas Where is APC and Gen Buhari? Their loss at the polls is certain 5 Likes 1 Share |

OdenigboAroli:Don't you think there is something the young man you quoted knows that you don't know I don't expect you to understand that Chime did more than beautifying Enugu. You will not understand the wisdom in prioritizing the needs of the people, the urgency required in addressing the scaled needs as against the resources available. Chime excelled in that, Obiano is doing likewise. Btw Obiano is just starting, my desire is to see him maintain or increase the tempo Akpabio, BRF and the rests look smarter than your lord(Peter Obi) whom you claimed laid down his life for Anambra. Politics / Re: In One Year, Obiano Has Carried Out Silent Revolution In Anambra –bianca Ojukwu by Cuche: 8:52pm On Mar 18, 2015 |
One reason why I will rate Obiano on the class of Gov. Chime of Enugu is setting his vision straight and prioritizing them accordingly. He has left no one in doubt that he is a Leader, an intelligent one for that Madam Bianca was just campaigning for APGA she was short of calling a spade, a spade. I don't expect her to cast aspersions on the credibility of APGA against the backdrop of the clear differences between the past administration and the present. Be that as it may, she is beginning to manifest some leadership qualities which hitherto was overshadowed by that of the late People's General. |

Whynotthetruth:It is either you are slow to comprehension or you are just being mischievous. Nobody vindicated you Do you know that Anambra had the least State Workforce in the South East almost till Obi's late days in office when he lifted his embargo on employment and therefore could have afforded the actual minimum wage that is in addition to the revenues and allocations that came to the State under him? The man you quoted did not say Obi paid minimum wage. Your jesus did not pay minimum wage what he did was very clever, he paid level 1 step 1 N18,000 and added next to nothing to other grade levels. Then, he quickly went to the press to announce that he was paying minimum wage and the first to do so While he pocketed the equivalent of the IGR he felt like returning as his Security vote. In otherwords, all the IGR(declared plus the undeclared ) went straight to his pockets. Afterall Rochas forfeited his security vote 1 Like |

He went as far as pocketing a large part of the IGR while declaring only N500 million Those were the time when crude oil was averaging $100 a bpd and benchmark was $76. He got billions in ecological funds, the refunds of Federal roads built by Ngige, billions in total from donor agencies The man is simply a grand thief |

ozoigbondu:What were you expecting to see? Projects that will justify the donation. Mind you Obi also claimed to have spent billions to get course accreditations but on a closer look full accreditations which can only justify the amount he claimed to have spent were not there The N5b donation was ladden with falsehood, the money that eventually got to the School was not upto a billion. Do not blame the VC, he was forced to acknowledge what he did not receive. That was wicked and Criminal |

Peppyluv: I didn't want to talk about Peter Obi but since he has been mentioned in this thread and some are not sure who he was. The man Obi is greed personified, a slimy Crook and a propagandists. He understood the relationship between Church and Politics, and played along with the politicians on Priestly robes to wipe the sentiments of the massess Let me shock you, somebody told me recently that even at the Presidency and PDP, the knew him to be slimy, cunning and lacking integrity are watching him carefully. Nobody was sure of his contributions to the GEJ campaign even as Deputy DG. The stakeholders didn't want him in the first place but for GEJ insistence on having employed As for Anambra State, before anybody begins to rate him, one should painstakingly calculate the amount of money that came to the State under him and at a time when Oil price was averaging $100 per barrel 2 Likes |

I didn't know many people agreed with the fact that Chime is the best Governor in the SE. Obiano is working and he is focused, I hope he sustains the vision does away with Obi's talkative government. I wished that he stopped printing his face on Ankra worn by his Aides Okorocha started well and was so much in a hurry to fix the dilapidations he met in Imo State that he forgot to be prudent in managing the State account. He also is wasting the State's money on Buhari project Elechi should come before TA Orji 3 Likes |

If were the Governor, I will not hesitate to fix that road because of its importance, little by little, maybe do it in 3 sections over 2-3 years. GEJ cannot make an appearance in court, he enjoys immunity Secondly, no Nigerian Judge can disqualify a sitting President with the way Nigerian Judiciary operates Justice Ayo Salami tried no to take orders from above and was shown the way out APC should stop wasting its time, GMB will not be President of Nigeria. The worst that will happen is GEJ stepping aside but before then he could give 6-9month extension of his government using the war in the North East as the perfect excuse. 1 Like |
