goodluck waiting for the proposal on bended knee or otherwise.
what you'll hear on your traditional wedding day is " we came to pluck a beautiful flower"!) grin grin grin grin grin grin
LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL grin grin grin grin grin

only flower? what about plucking a ripe apple lol  grin grin grin but anyways sha he doesn't have to do it on a knee, it just has to be nothing short of a romantic one wink wink . it all depends with whom you're rolling with dearie cheesy cheesy

dear don't tell me you'll be doing the, "ehee when was it we were supposed to be coming to your place for the introduction?", when he hasnt even mention the "M" word lol?
FashionRe: Stretch Marks by cuteass1(f): 10:41pm On Apr 11, 2007
well IBDat its a good thing you mentioned the vaseline cure ooh, because who knows? someone nearby might benefit from it too cheesy

and i get your point Red_Lips, because that something works for "Mr. A" doesn't mean it would work for "Mr. B" , but someone's just going to keep trying till they achieve their goal and come to the point where they find out which, exactly works.

So its a nice thing that everybody is listing the cure they have witnessed, which of them is the best is just something the victims will have to find out for themselves wink nothing good comes easy, so if they're willing to get rid of the marks then they just have to exercise patience.

And that goes for every other human-problem, you just have to try your way to the topps wink

this site has something too: http://www.stretchsmarks.info/

fact is nigerian men don't propose. its wierd but somehow the couple just know they are getting married and start working towards it. its rare that he gets on bended knee and "pops the question" just like in the movies! but don't we just wish they could be more imaginative and romantic! angry
i agree with you, but only to a point wink
dear, just the same thing we're all against generalization

yea, some men in Naija are like that (the ones that score zero in romantic"101"wink but then we can't just measure all in the same spoon when we know that there are some of them that actually have buckled up. Some of them have the "untouched" behaviour because of where and how they were brought up. You'll find most of them in the remote villages and these city peeps that are just as un-modernized. And most of them are with ladies that don't even care whether its done right or not.

that has been the case, but lately and in these reent times, modernization has made it a whole lot different, some are stepping up to be as romantic as the white man. esp. peeps living outside the country and then there are some that are in the country but have a learnt a lot rom movies and stuff

and then we can't forget the few that were born with it wink Rome wasn't built in a day, but we're getting there. It wasnt our culture but who says we can't adapt??

I have not been proposed to yet, but i'm not following any guy home ooh if he doesn't officially do it. "just thinking" its ok, doesn't do it for me ooh cheesy

kris, i don't mean to over trivialise this but are you christian?
do not be a partaker in this messy deal. she needs to keep that child, who knows what the child will be?
then you need to ask yourself if you will honestly do right by her and the child, should she keep it. why do you really love her? is she pretty or is it just because she was unattainable when you wanted her?
you need to look at this from an object view, weigh out the pros and cons, honestly and you will know what to do, God will tell you what to do.
hope it turns out well

this has just proven my doubt about posting your pic. on a public forum. This guy is posting it back on the forum but then anybody could be doing many other things with the pic.(s) without your knowledge and consent.

I have a friend on this forum who said she wouldn't post her pic because enemies and haters could use them for "juju", i laughed at it as a joke, but now i'm really beginning to wonder ooh shocked shocked

FashionRe: Stretch Marks by cuteass1(f): 7:23am On Apr 11, 2007
Well thanks iice and Red_Lips for the definition and the possible cause respectively
Stretch-marks might not be the best sight ever, but i don't understand why people make so much noise about it considering the fact that they don't wish it upon themselves, the thing is just there.

I have this friend and she's like "model-skinny", i was so surprised the day we went swimming, and as she was getting off her clothes, i noticed some stretch-marks. shocked shocked I was so so shocked, because i had always thought it was a "fat people"thing. After that day i got scared ooh, because i then knew it could happen to anybody.

its common with pregnant women, theirs is understandable because the body expands to accomodate the baby they're carrying wink

jbuoy:
Girls and guys what do u think about this and is there any cure for such?
And yes dear, thanks to modernization there are cures for it
There are now many products in the market, mostly cream-like or gel-like products that can be use to get rid of the "unwanted" marks. So i guess all hope is not lost wink for "she" who is dating a guy that sees it as a no no and has it.

And i'm sure very soon, those that are more cashy than others will be introduced to a lazer(quicker) method of getting rid of it. Then you won't have to wait for weeks to months (depending on your skin type) to see results wink

@ highveld

i think everybody deserves a second chance and the benefit of the doubt but honestly i'm getting dissppointed angry angry and i'm beginning to loose faith in you ooh

For now, i just have to take sides with Davidylan

How could you go drinking again when you know what mood you get in afterwards, i know Rome wasn't built in a day but dearie determination like i said is the key to success and comm'on where's your self-control??

If you fell in love with a prostitute, she promised you that she'll change, and yet she still goes out at night, gets tempted and says it will come gradually?? why go out at nigght in the first place.

Dear if this girl can't make you change now that you'll give anything to win her back, is it when she get's married to you and both of you know it will take a whole lot more than just that for her to walk out.

Don't get to the point where the camel's back would be broken, because you'll ever regret. This girl loves you, yes/maybe but now you have to show you love her too.

God is capable of changing yourworst behaviour, but you have to show willingness, love is able to turn you but remember that the distance between love and hate is shorter that we can imagine. Do not put any of those mentioned above on trial because you might loose something special. Don't get to that sad

I advice, you sign into a rehabilitation centre, work seriously with your problem. We all want your best, but we also have to have the girl's best interest at heart wink

RomanceRe: My Girlfriend Says It's Over Between Us But Picks My Calls: Is She Done Yet? by cuteass1(f): 3:29pm On Apr 10, 2007
well my dear, i like the way you think
and i'm also trying to call a shovel a shovel. We're all saying the same thing here but at the end of the day, he calls the shot wink

if you go through the whole thread, everybody has been trying to talk him into forgetting the girl, and believeing she'll come back to him if she's truly he'sbut to no avail. I've made it clear that what would be, would be so he should give himself and the girl a break. And that if she came back based on these circumstances, then he might end up being a slave in his marriage, which i was sure he wouldnt want.

nobody, absolutely nobody is encouraging his behaviour, hell no. I adviced earlier that he should cut down the calling and other things that might have caused the break up.

i think that if he stopped his turn-off behaviour he'll have a chance to make it whether with this girl or with someone else.

What i came to realise was that none of us making these suggestions has a key to the future to concretelytell him what is going to happen.
that's just something he has to find out for himself, or else he might never be able to let go.

God and Love can make us change our worst habits, if this would be his case, i honestly do not know, but who am i to oppose?? wink

adeboo:
Is it that there are no moregirls on this earth?

you said he should make the girl come begging and i was just pointing out that if he was actually the cause as he claims then why would the girl be the one to come begging??
and nobody talked about other girls, you were the one that asked if there no more girls on earth wink

Oh ma goodness ma man whats wrong with ya?

Please listen to Sweet T- you are really disgracing yourself.

Make her come begging and not the other way - MY GUY HAVE SOME DIGNITY.
dear, your advice is a good one but

remeber the saying that you can force a horse to the stream but you cannot force it to drink out of the stream

he has made up his mind on fighting to get her love back, after all said and done he's bent on it . . now i've taken out time to wonder why?

can it be that his gutts won't let him let go because they're meant to be?? or because love is just blind??

well if we can't talk him out of it, then he just has to try. With time he will know if he took a good one or not.

adeboo:
Is it that there are no moregirls on this earth?

Mark my words - if she comes back to you or even marry you, she will make your life a living hell and then you will loose your temper and start hitting her cause she will fraustrate you.

Make her come begging and not the other way - MY GUY HAVE SOME DIGNITY.
he means he's lost 4girls for this behaviour of his, if that is the case, then i don't think he should go after another girl. What girl will want to be with a possessive, alcoholic, extremely jealous guy?? i wouldn't wink

so if that really is the case, then his best option would be to change those habits smiley we havent heard from the girl, if he really is like that, then maybe the girl has every right to be upset.

Remember dearie, every girl wants the best for herself. Those habits are not of an ideal man smiley

i know some girls that would do anything to cross the boarder, so if she's in Naija and yet knows she'a worth more than what he's bringing to the table despite the fact that he's abroad, then she might not be such a bad one afterall wink
