I admire your persistence to be with her, but first of all before you can cure someone else of their illness, make sure you've cured yourself. You're so confused and insecured and thats not a good foundation Cos it might just rubb off on her and make her think you're "one of those" . .
You have to let go of the insecurities, jealousy and pains. Nobody likes to imagine their partners with someone else, no one at all but atimes its inevitable. All the things she did are in the past, before she met you.

Come to think of it, if everyone went about thinking of the "past lives" of their partners, believe me there wouldn't have been a word like "couple" in the dictionary and all the "non-virgins" would remain sinlgle for life

And until you've been able to call off the past, you won't be able to move on. Both of you will only be drawn back
The fact that you cheated on her like 4-5 times makes both of you "culprits", you're in no way better than she is. BTW, she's acting out of her broken childhood, what's your excuse?? You're no better than her, so do not judge

I have to say that both of you have a lot to deal with and work on. But this "love" of a thing is actually strong. And i'm sure that with the right attitudes and mind, both of you might just be able to beat the norm that has grown to live in her

What she needs is all the care in the world, love and someone that would make her feel secured and safe. After all she's gone through, it might be difficult for her to think that she deserves better, or that that she could trust someone, or that someone could actually love her

You're there to prove her wrong, now don't do a bad job of it. You have to show her something she's never had in her life, LOVE
But you can't show her real love, till you've dealt with your "demons", get rid of them, the girl next door might not be better, unless she decides not to tell you what her past looks like. Some girls have done worst, but today are in the hands of guys that think the world of them. This girl was a victim of circumstance, be grateful that you've been given the opportunity to be the choosen one that'll free her from her evil society

Now this girl came clean to you, don't hold it against her, show her that despite her past, she's still priceless, valuable and worthy of your love. Let the pains go, let the past remain the past, you love her for who she is and not for what she is, if she were any different, and if some of her pasts were wiped away, you might not have loved her this much. Now work with what you were given!!! Good luck

As i was reading the topic from beginning, i was so baffled and shaken to see that lots of people were still living in the "ignorant" age, but some did make my day.

Could this be love?? Yes it can . . Does it have to end in marraige?? Not necessarily

Luxoire mentioned thinking with your heart or your head, I believe in thinking with both, let me explain

heart = love
head = compartibility

With both of them i think you're unbeatable. Now none of them gurantees a happy married life. That's where "luck" enters the picture.Some have gone in with their heads, and come out heart-broken, some have gone in with their heatrs and come out of ittotally crushed and there are some who have gone in with both and come out pounded and worn-out. Its all about destiny and luck

Some even without the compartibility can make it work, because love they say is "enduring, compromising, understanding, peaceful and all the rest on the list", while some with the compartibility make it wirk by growing to ove each other

But on the other hand, marriage should not be doubted, its not something you should go into with cold feet, if you don't feel its the right partner for you(the love not withstanding, I've seen couples madly in love, but for one reason or the other not feel like they were meant to be). Be sure you're ready to beat the odds, Cos that gives you a stronger will to keep on moving, the gallops not withstanding

No matter what, let it be your decision, Cos you'd rather live regretting a mistake you chose and did than one done by someone else on your behalf!!!

Its a known fact that some things cannot be changed  . . like turning back the hand of the clock. The things she's told them cannot be taken back unless she's thought of giving them memory black-out lol

The past is gone and there's little or nothing she can do about it, but she has power to an extent to do something about the future

They've already drawn the wrong image of her, its not late to wipe it away, but she has to buckle up fast, or else the people that have the wrong pic will be more in number and we don't want that
Like iice said, she should quit those attitudes that got her the "disrespectful and disregarding" assumptions

Luxoire is right too,Of course its a good thing to be jovial, open and outgoing but she shouldn't forget the saying that "too much of everything is bad" and that there's a time for everything, a time to laugh and a time to be serious, a time to be eerybody's friend and a time to keep to yourself while being a friend

She should know when to draw the line, being "jovial" doesn't mean she should fool around with every Tom, Benson and Harry, being "outgoing" doesn't mean she should fall a fool to all and being "open" doesn't mean she shouldn't have some secrets to herself. One can have all those qualities and still be the best in town. Knowing how to cordinate them and when not to go overboard with it.
It should also be in a lady's nature to be reserved a bit, so she should practise that. You're a failure when you've stopped trying, if the response she's been getting has been putting her in a bad mood, the she has to wear a different coat. Make new priniples and rules for herself and try to follow them.

Well some girls can be a bit selfish, I mean they want to eat their cake and still have it.
I don't know the came she's playing Cos i can impossibly read her mind, but if you're not comfortable with the game then i suggest you do something about it . .

You have to call her, and sit her down and make it clear to her that you don't appreciate your feelings being toiled with. Yea, you'd love to continue being her friend, she hasn't done anything to you and the fact that she doesn't want an intimate relationship with you doesnt make her less a friend

But in a situation where she wouldn't make up her mind on whatever it is she wants, and yet would turn you around in her little roller-coster, thats what i don't find amusing. Tell her she has to give you an answer whether she wants a relationship with you or not. Tell her whatever she says there and then is what you're going to live by and if at the end of the day her answer is No, then tell her it would be nice if she could just play on neutral grounds. Tell her she knows how you feel about her, and that makes it a bit difficult for you to tackle it when she swings you around

After that, try and keep your cool. Do not even let your actions insinuate you're bearing a nag towards her, just be your normal self, afterall life has to move on, with or without her
Just live life, who knows, you might fall in love with someone else tomorrow but first, you have to let go, you can't go about waiting on her when she's made it clear she doesn't want a relationship with you. If you're meant to be, sooner or later it'll show itself but till then you'll be just fine on your own!!!!!!!

P.S: Do not go into a relationship with someone else because you want to get back at her, or because you want to make her jealous (yea, some guys do that). Because believe me it'll only end up backfiring at you, not to mention the broken heart in the process

I just heard that one of the great sons of ndi Igbo highlife musician Chief Stephen Osita Osadebe, (OON) is dead at 71.
He passed on last Friday in USA, according to his family in a statement.

May his soul rest in peace.

I know you can't love two people the same, but to add "as much as"  to it, has "second class treatment/citizen" written all over it.

Well its your call to stay or to walk . . you have two options

First option: Stay and "manage" being "second best" and remember there are chances that he still loves her, thinks of her the whole day (infact, at the long run, he might start to hate you because of it)

     or
