Well i think its OK to help your family, but do not over-do it. I mean, don't do it at the expense of your own household and their hapiness. I know some women who would want to help their brothers even when they know their household-expenses cannot affort it.

They think its their husband's loss but at the end of the day it hurts all parties involved. Atimes it results to hidden enemity between the in-laws (the husband and the brohers of the lady, more unlucky situations will now draw the lady's mum into the mess)

Something that could have been prevented if the lady was being a wife and mother first

To some extent, yes she does. Its not only on paper you guys agree to be "one", its for a living. When huge decisions are to be made, they should both be in agreement, even though its the lady's salary.
Aren't they supposed to be taking care of the family together?
Shouldn't they be more of a couple than single individually minded?
Would the lady appreciate it if the guy shipped half of his earnings to his birth family.

If its a chicken-change to buy bisciuts and chocolates, thats a differnt one but
When you're married, in my opinion your immediate family becomes your first priority and planning spot

Well like every situation in life, this one carries its positive and negative chances

Yea, some kids grow up emotionally depressed and beaten due to divorce of their parents, for some life after the broken homes will never be the same. Some take it harder than others. Some will say that "the first-borns" suffer the most since some of them now carries the responsiblity of being there for their younger ones. Some kids get so swinged into the "one week with mum, and one week with dad" way of life, and lack all stability in their day to day. Life becomes one big ball of shambles, not knowing who to cling unto, depend on or trust. Some of them didnt even see it coming, so its like one shock after the other, and i can tell you it doesn't make it any easier watching a big happy family and the feeling of emptiness Cos yours doesn't exist anymore. And then it is another song if one or both parents decides to get married or settle with someone else, some parents get too free-handed Cos they want to be the favourite, and end up hurting the morals and important principles. They grow up vowing never to trust, love nor forget . . Ooh lawd poor kids!!
For some its the saddest story ever

But then there are some that couldn't care less Cos they've never known a real family even when their parents were together. For some its of no consequence, Cos their lives are not allowed to bend to the disaster of the divorce, some live their lives as normal, will not allow it to ruin their hopes, hapiness, goals nor existent. Some are just strong-willed, determined and right-headed enough to overcome the negativity that comes from it all, if they didn't tell you, you wouldn't even have guessed in a million years!!
And for these, i couldn't be happier

Let her know you didn't take it lightly, show some anger but then has she always been that way?

If NO, then let her prove to you that it was a decision in the wrong path I would have said the same if it were a guy that did the same, we're human, all capable of a silly mistake or two!!!!!
