cute ass, Why are u saying that u are not my friend? Well if u are not my friend, I have a lot of friends at Nairaland. So i just need the next step to take.
Darling, you got me all wrong.

I said we're not the friend of yours who's having problems in his relationship so we can't possibly know the cause of changed feelings. Ooh lawd . .  i meant that you shhould ask your friend (the one that doesn't love his girlfriend anymore) what the matter is, why he doesn't think he could love her anymore.

When you come back with the specific reasons, then we can help you sort out what exactly should or could be done wink

And dearie. if not that you just want to find faults, read my two first posts and see what i adviced you to do, you left the advice and jumped into some untrue conclussions, why would i say i wasn't your friend? huh

@ Muyenskin

Like i said, you're the funniest today lol grin

How can you want Nairaland users to help you when we're not in your friend's shoes undecided

If you think the girl did something, then sit him down and have a friend-to-friend chat to him, find out what exactly the problem is, then come back for advice and possible solutions wink

Why do you need us to speculate what the girl might have done when we don't live with them, or you're up for a "guessing game" huh

You have to know a sickness to cure it, likewise we have to know what's down, we're not magicians wink Go find out!!!!!!!!!
CelebritiesRe: He Does Not Love Her Anymore. He Said: by cuteass1(f): 9:10am On May 02, 2007
What to do to save it? A relationship that is as good as down the drain?? Are you a magician or something? Try turning back the hand of the clock lol

you said, he said and i quote "the girl is nothing to him anymore and that if he continues with the relationship, he'll never love her" . . and you want to save it, lol you're the funniest one today grin

Ok first of all, what caused the sudden change of feelings? If its something the girl has done, then it might only might be reversed. But if your friend really said it the way you expressed here then the best advice you can give your friend is to let the damsel walk wink

BTW why is he still holding unto her, when he for sure knows he's just wasting his time and hers?? He knows its literally over, and he's still there wastin her energy and love?? Seems your friend is selfish too angry grin

He should try and break it dowm to her as softly as possible, its always painful and devastating, more for the party that didn't see it coming, but at the end of the day its the only solution and the sooner he did it and got it over with, the better for them wink

The longer it took, the more pains he'll be endangering her to, and its not cool!!!!!!

shocked shocked Mr. poster, and just when you had me going and i was about to wish you smoe luck with my girls, you blew it angry

How come your proflie picture is different from the one you pasted on here huh You can change it for all i care, but you're busted already embarassed

now there could be 4 options here:
1) you're advertising for someone else undecided
2) you're taking us for fools and think you can use us for your have-nothing-else-to-do day undecided
3) you're a 419, and God help us but who knows what you had in mind undecided
4) you stole someone else's pic. to make it more believeable and hopefully get you a "cute"girl

The only option that might be forgiveable, would have been the 1st one, but then we're not fortune tellers and Nairalanders take no chances so its a closed deal as far as i'm concerned wink Go play your silly game somewhere else.

HealthRe: The Size Of My Tomy by cuteass1(f): 8:24am On May 02, 2007
Well, i'm beginning to wonder what might be the cause of all your health problems, or don't you agree with me that its kind of too much for just you to bear all of them as in, one man, 5 problems?

Well, the only thing that might help, (that's if its not genetic i mean) might be some exercises specifically meant for the tommy of which i know doing a number of sit-ups daily might achieve (try signing in, in a gym studio, i'm sure they have numerous work-outs, positions and equipments to help you achieve your goal wink

Now if its not genetic, i'll guess you maybe have a bad eating habit: like eat late, eat lots of fat and sugar, eat large quantities of food, eat even when you're not hungry (the norwegians will say "kjedespising" as in eating just to while away time)

In a nut shell, try re-construct your eating habit. Every success determines some efforts, so if you pay your own share of efforts, i'm sure you'll be singing a new song in a couple of months!!!!! wink
Good luck . .

girl, still speaking my mind.

The best medicine is to beat your "enemy" (not that she's your enemy though wink )at their own game.

She's lookingfor faults to perch on and make you look bad, well you'll give no room for faults. Your tracks will be fully covered. You'll leave no stones uncovered, Cos on the "judgement" day, you wouldn't want to be found wanting.

You already told/promised your mother-in-law you'd call right? well you have to, if nothing, out of respect for the lady wink
It'll take nohing from you, but it'll make you a good name down the road. Your tiny peaceful advances towards her will sooner or later make her feel like a fool, so keep on keeping.

She thinks she smarter? well you're smarter, she thinks she stands high and tall? well flash news for her, you stand taller and higher.

Dear, know this: there can not be two mad people on stage at the same time, so let her have the floor, while you have the victory!!!!!!!! cheesy

Ooh my gosh, that lovely. He's lucky to have a lady that enjoys cooking, and not just any meal but his, though she's not too familiar with the recipies, ingredients nor method of cooking.

Well dear, you're in the right place, here you'll learn at least 80% african related stuff, not to mention cultures and recipies. I'm 100% positive that you'll enjoy this ride, just have an open mind . .

BRB . .well here's a thread of recipies to get you started, I'm Nigerian, but this thread really got me some happy days. The recipies are fantastic wink

RomanceRe: Do I Need To Wear A Tie On My Wedding Day? by cuteass1(f): 11:13pm On May 01, 2007
drrionelli:
What you wear on your wedding day is up to you. I'd ask the lady I'm marrying if she has any preferences.

It's a special day, like no other in your life. You'll probably only marry once, so you'll want to look special. Of course, many things come into play, here.

I've known of couples who were married in clothing from various periods in history. Some people marry in uniforms of various types. Some of my friends have dressed casually (jeans, shorts, etc) while others have been very formal. I've even known of some couples to be married in the nude!

So as I say, it's up to you. Just remember that you (and others) will have to look at those wedding pictures for many years to come!

Good luck!
Well said wink

@ poster
your hapiness (and your bride's of course) should be the order of the day cheesy

Just make sure both of you are in agreement first, if some compromises need to be made, make them together. What other's think is of no consequence wink

dupebaby:
2 me, i think u should follow the tradition, u don't want your future woman, 2 be havin a second thought about u, anyways, I WISH U 2 GOODLUCK AND HAPPY MARRIED LIFE, grin
shocked shocked Just because of a tie lol, this marriage thing truly is no piece of cake grin

If she's known him to the extent of walking down the isle, she obviously knows his turn-ons and attitudes and certainly fell in love with them. Why would she have second thoughts just because of a tie?? huh Na wa ooh!!

Of course everybody wants their spouse to be stunning, and drop dead gorgeous, someone you'd prresent to the audience with no hesitation but everybody's definition to the "in thing is different . .

hope you catch lots of fun ooh, well its inevitable Cos its fun all the way as long as you know and put to practise the saying "silence is the best answer for a fool".

I can see you're not African, so how much do you know about africans in general?
To avoid your day ruined, always ask concerning matters you're not sure of before you conclude Cos nigerians will go to any extent to protect what is theirs lol grin

If you're stuck, just ask. Ready to help!!! See you around hun wink
The weird thing is they reacted to her worse than they do people whose main intent actually IS to bash Nigeria like Elody and Ammensah.
Darling, i get your point on that, i tried as much as worldly possible to make them see where she was coming from, make them see her unintention of being rude, i went further to make them realise the ineccessity of defending a country which though i and you love so much, isn't as "flying hot" as we'll all want it to be

But "NO", it was as if i was talking to deaf ears, noone was interested in the main/actual topic of the day but all into "her not so fine way of writing", some points made, honestly sounded so wack Cos there were so irrelevant and unpractical

But i've come to understand that every human has their mind, and atimes it's like making hell freeze befor ethey can see your mind with you wink

I had to leave the stage at last, Cos it was turning out more of a child's play than supposed to!!!!
TravelRe: I'm Scared Of Going To Nigeria by cuteass1(f): 9:00pm On May 01, 2007
@ choongtin

Did you read through the whole thread??

Not everyone insulted you, but like i said somewhere earlier not everyone can see reasons with you when they don't know where you're coming from.

Most of them were just against your manner of writing, which maybe didn't come out super "down to earth", i'm sure they didn't mean any out of the ordinary harm. Everyone is so used to defending their countries, even when unecessary.

Either way, go through the whole thread, some did leave behind a lot of advice, warnings and tips that'll guide you around. Heed to them, I believe when you've adapted, you'll have the time of your life. It might be an open gate to a new relationship with your dad. Take it one at a time, you'll be fine dear wink

Lastly, if you got sad, don't be. We all love you, if we didn't, they/we wouldn't be pointing out "the faults", so you change them. Remember a saying, "my friend i'm telling you is a good one, but my friend i would have told you is a bad one"

Take care!!!!!!!!

FamilyRe: My Future Sister-In-Law Is Hard To Please by cuteass1(f): 11:52am On May 01, 2007
Darling, you're going through one of the most natural things ever.

But what can i say Adeboo took my mouth.

She's just jealous of the fact that her bro loves you that much, which makes the love for her less (you know last born kids and their ever hunger for pampering lol, no matter how old they've become) One thing she gets blinded to, is that her brother still loves her dearly, just not showing it the same way.

Most of them grow to get used to the situation, esp after the wedding and she sees and believes you really mean no harm. I hope that for you, but dear either way, though i know it could be upsetting and hurting, try your best to ensure peace, you can talk to her too like Adeboo said, if at the end of the day she still doesn't change, then let her be (its not like you can force her to accept you anyway, and if she will, let her love the you that you are now, andnot the one you'll become to please her). You can't be loved by the whole world anyway, no matter how you try. But i believe she'll come around!!"

She's either been this protective towards her brother to others that came along, or her brother hasn't loved any like he loves you, either way, give her more time. She'll adapt wink cheesy
