Fryzi:Gbam. Sharp observation. Even when they want to lie to Nigerians, they will launch the lies!! |
kgr8mike:Even Tinubu's daughter is disappointed |
cold:That is the Nobel price winning question. Till date nobody has been able to articulate clearly the economic policies of this government. Kemi Adeosun always has that clueless expression about her like a new IT student in my office. Looks like a new staff looking for someone to tell her what to do. The only person who has made an effort is Lai Mohammed with his suggestion to create jobs by dressing and undressing masquerades. |
dearpreye:You really have foresight. By the time Buhari is through with Nigeria, even OBJ that is currently playing dual role of errand boy and lackey dog will cry blood. The deft move to put all security apparatus of Nigeria in the hands of Northerners is for sinister purposes. Is anyone surprised that House of Rep Abduminin Jibrin who is the actual culprit in the entire budget saga is the one dragging everyone else before various security agencies? The Budget Padder in Chief is strutting the landscape a free man, as if he has some God ordained immunity. |
Fortissimo:Is queue at bus stops our problem?? Or was it one of Buhari's campaign promise? When people are hungry and don't have jobs, Naira has depreciated to N400, inflation is galloping at 16%, unemployment is the highest in decades, factories are closing down or relocating from Nigeria, and Buhari is talking about queue. What a mess!!! What a distraction!!! |
Buhari is busy fulfilling election promises he never made. The ones he made, he says he cannot fulfill them. How did we land ourselves in this mess ![]() |
jaiyezy:Some people are so thick-skulled, they just don't get it. Now I believe your life is better because you have "upright" leaders who: 1. They are fighting corruption so well by padding the national budget to the tune of over N400 billion, and sharing the money among themselves in phantom constituency projects. 2. Have managed to manage the economy downwards so that inflation has skyrocketted from 8% to 16% in just one year 3. Naira exchange has been expertly managed from N180 to N400 in just 18 months. 4. They have managed the economy so well that a bag of rice has moved from N8,000 to N16,000, and a basket of tomatoes has "improved" from N3,000 to over N14,000 in 1 year 5. Price of petrol has "improved" tremendously from N86 per liter to N145 per liter. No need to talk about kerosene. 6. Electricity generated has magically improved from 4,000MW to between 2000 - 3000MW. 7. Have elevated nepotism to art form by fixing their children in choice government jobs at CBN, FIRS, etc, whilst they say your own children take job of dressing and undressing masquerades. They now say nepotism is not corruption 8. Purchase multi-million dollar homes in Dubai (General Buratai) and USA (Rtd Lt Gen Dambazzau) for themselves, under the pretext of being experts in saving their salaries. Maybe they have magic bank accounts which the rest of cannot open. On SURE-P: If you don't know anything about SURE-P, you better remove that from your mouth and go and educate yourself on it. SURE-P was funds accrued from removal of small percentage of subsidy. The proceeds was shared to all tiers of government (LG, state and Federal). The Federal Govt share was managed by Dr Christopher Kolade, one of the most upright men still alive in Nigeria, who they used politics to blackmail to leave the job. The govt then looked for another upright Rtd General Martin Luther Agwai who expertly managed the fund. The programmes and jobs created via FGN share of SURE-P funds are there for everyone to see. Buhari's govt came in and adopted their nihilist and vindictive approach to kill the laudable programmes including the YouWin programme. Till date they have refused to pay stipends the young people who are being trained under this programme. I hope you have been employed in their deceptive M-power programme which exists only in the webpage? If there was mismanagement of SURE-P funds, you can be sure Buhari would have gone to town with it, with show arrests tailor-made for the news media. In any case both PDP and APC state governments received SURE-P money. Have you asked what happened to the SURE-P funds allocated to states and local governments? |
Curvinus:Meanwhile, he is subsidizing hajj with N8 billion. So he wants to grow religion, whilst shrinking agriculture. It is a big lesson that men should always be judged by their actions not progpaganda |
I shudder to think of what will happen to Buhari in 2019 if things do not change positively for the masses soon. He might be stoned in public events. This man who was heralded into office by friends and foes alike. Even families of upright politicians like Prof Ambrose Ali, Michael Ajasin, etc of UPN fame who died due to unjustified imprisonment by Buhari's kangaroo tribunals in 1984-1985 hailed him. Now this messed up economy. Yesterday, I read in the papers that Buhari said he cannot fullfil his campaign promises. I just shook my head, and thought, "Sir, you must be joking". Abacha might end up being more popular than Buhari. |
hucienda:Or some will never wake, since they will have passed away in their hunger-induced slumber. They say konji is a bastard, but I believe political blindness is the real bastard |
waleadex:Na "MEAN WELL" we go chop? "IN ABOUT A YEAR or AT END OF HIS TENURE". One year has already rolled by. We will hit 2 years in a matter of months. Which "year" are you referring to? Who will be alive at the end of his tenure to read the score card? |
Kgdavid:You like it abi? Did they tell you who they will kill instead? Chai. Christian and naivety are like....... |
dafuturis:It is actually the beginning of the road or phase 2 of their campaign. They are making a formal switch to Phase 2 to align with Buhari's grand plan for Nigeria. Now the target is : * kill pastors * murder Christians under any guise * exterminate Christian villages * terrorise, kidnap, rape women and destroy farmlands and blame it on Libyans Hope you have read in the press that the army is feeding and paying reparation of N3, 000 to each of the "captured" Boko Haram terrorists. Thousands have simply been released and told to be coming from home to eat free food and collect allowance. The feeding programme they promised during elections is being fulfilled on Boko Haram fighters. School children just have to wait their turn, if it will ever come. Welcome to the new Nigeria! |
aphixiano:So why did he garner even more support during the primaries with each new disgusting comment by Trump? Was it Libyans who voted during the primaries? Or was he dragging America's name through peanut butter not mud during the primary? |
Rhozabeth:Thanks for the idea. I'm working on it |
justy15:Buhari needs to wash his face with cow urine so he can see clearly, put some into his ears to cure the persistent ear infection.

A mentor simply dropping in to check on his student every month., and to drop some info on OBJ's enemies. OBJ is manipulating PMB, and he does not even know it. Nothing new here, OBJ is simply warming himself to PMB to avoid any probe searchlight being beamed in his direction. You can be sure any Siemens or Halliburton probe that will spot OBJ's hands in the cookie jar will be DOA-Dead on Arrival. https://www.nairaland.com/2892631/halliburton-scandal-buhari-may-go

I have tried to calculate the amount in that room. It is definitely not up to N 1 trillion, not even up to N1billion. Total amount is about N540 million. How did I arrive at this figure? As far as the picture could allow us see, there are 9 stacks from top to bottom. First, lets estimate how many bundles are on the bottom stack. There are vertical bundles and horizontal bundles. Counting in the direction going towards the brown standing A/C carton in the background, we have the following bundles: - VERTICAL BUNDLES: 24 bundles in the x-axis, and 6 bundles in the y-axis = 24x6 = 144 bundles - HORIZONTAL BUNDLES: 12 bundles in x-axis, and 8 bundles in the y-axis = 12x8 = 96 bundles Total no of bundles in bottom stack = 144 x 96 = 240 bundles Recall, total number of stacks = 9 Hence, total number of bundles in the entire stack = 9 x 240 = 2160 bundles. As we all know, banks usually put 5 packs of notes in each bundle, and each pack contains 100 notes. Hence, amount of money in each bundle of N500 notes = 5 x 100 x N500 = N250,000 per bundle Hence, TOTAL AMOUNT OF MONEY IN THAT ROOM = N250,000 per bundle x 2160 bundles = N540,000,000 So anytime you hear that your politicians have stolen amount running into several billions, say N10b, N20b, etc you should know they cannot move the money except the banks cooperate with them. |
NCA - Name Checkers Association, Ogun State branch please come and convene your meeting. The conference room is available |
HrmOlolade:Off course we know the Imam is lying to save his skin. In any case, whether it is chase, stone or stab, it does not really matter now. The Muslim boys he sent committed the murder. So the Imam is an accessory to murder. Whether his instructions were carried out correctly is immaterial. He is still responsible for the tragic outcome. Period |
Aspireahead:The amount involved is N120m or AED1. 5m or $419,000. Where did you get your own N23m from? Who sent you to come and spread lies here? Are you the one that sent on UN Peacekeeping mission and paid him N120m allowance? You need to go and take tutorials from Lai Mohammed on how to lie properly. Mtcheeeewww |
I find your model and proposals interesting. However, glancing briefly at the table of content of the model business plan, I see that there is no section dealing with regulatory permits from DPR, etc. Other government agencies like Fed Min of Environment, State Min of Environment and other state agencies who usually issue one form of permit or the other. The time, documentation and cost required to secure these permits are not to be neglected. Also, it is not clear how the cylinders are to be sourced, since for safety one must have own branded cylinders procured from a manufacturer. Third, what does the cost you have quoted for the 2.5 ton and 5 ton unit cover exactly? Does it cover installation, training, etc? Please reply and send me PM let us discuss. |
omonla555:I believe you must be referring to Ex-President Obasanjo. All the sale of national assets to Jimoh Ibrahim such as Nigerian Airways (later changed to Air Nigeria), Nicon Insurance, Nigerian Re-Insurance, etc took place during Obasanjo's govt. Along with Femi Otedola, Jimoh Ibrahim was one of the emergency billionaires OBJ created. Femi Otedola broke into the big league with the purchase former AP (African Petroleum), which he later re-branded as Forte Oil. Jimoh Ibrahim also bought NOLCHEM, which he re-branded to Global Fleet Energy. Wale Babalakin, Chairman and owner of Bi-Courtney Ltd was another emergency billionaire OBJ created. He got concession for MMA1 (old local) and MMA2. With funding from Oceanic Bank, he was able to renovate MMA2 which that we have today. However, greed got the better of him when he started charging airlines exorbitant fees for usage of MMA2. Arik resisted moving to MMA2. Babalakin using OBJ backing tried to muscle airlines to to move to MMA2 and pay the ridiculous fees, Aero complied, but the rest refused. Babalakin obviously wanted to use cashflow from the high fees to finance upgrade of MMA1, rather than source for more loan. Because this stalemate, MMA1 remained in very parlous and horrible state and passengers suffered untold hardship using that terminal. The ding-dong continued until GEJ came in, and terminated the concession deal. Babalakin went to court, and the case has been dragging since. GEJ appointed Stella Oduah as aviation minister, who immediately defied Wale Babalakin and commenced work in upgrading and modernizing MMA1 to the delight relief of the suffering masses. Another multi-year sweet concession deal that Wale Babalakin is Lagos-Ibadan Expressway. Despite the horrible state of the road and the regular fatal accidents on that road, Wale Babalakin wanted to re-erect toll gates to raise funds to work on that road contrary to the terms of the concession. OBJ govt and the public resisted this move, and he refused to upgrade the road into a 10-lane super-highway as per the terms of the agreement. Again the ding-dong continued until GEJ came in, and many fruitless negotiations, and with the constant outcry of Nigerians, ordered Julius Berger to repair the road to relief the suffering of the public. Wale Babalakin ran to the court to block the work. Wale Babalakin resorted to whipping ethnic sentiments, that GEJ hates Yoruba people. This indeed is the genesis of the bile and hatred against against Stella Oduah and GEJ. The gullible public believed this poo, but forgot that his problems actually started during OBJ's tenure when he could not keep to the terms of his contract. Infact, part of Babalakin's travail during OBJ's govt was that his plans to build high-rise, 5 star hotel near Murtala Muhammed airport was resisted by Aviation Ministry and various aviation agencies such as FAAN and NCAA on grounds of safety. During OBJ's tenure, Babalakin also bought the old Fed Govt Secretariat at Ikoyi. This was during the height of Tinubu-OBJ face-off on LCDA and Enron IPP matter. OBJ withheld Lagos State FAAC allocations. Tinubu in turn frustrated and prevented Babalakin from developing that Fed Govt Secretariat. He ensured that Fashola who took over continued the policy. Till date that building is being inhabited by squatters and rats. |

Tune in and listen. Henry Boyo, writes a column in Vanguard under the pen-name "Les Leba", strictly on economy. He has always written a against the queer role of CBN auctioning dollars, which has a net effect of pushing the $:N exchange rate higher and flooding the economy with excess naira, and at the same time struggling to mop up the excess naira which it created in the first place via various avenues like increasing CRR, selling bonds and treasury bills. It is also strabge that the same CBN will later turn around to drain the foreign reserves to intervene in the forex market to defend the same naira. It is like CBN is fighting against itself. He supports Buhari's challenge to economists to adduce tangible benefits to the economy for the mantra of devaluation when you do not have functioning infrastructure, lending rate is astronomical, and inflation is galloping at double digits. What are the real benefits to the real sector. He says the only "expected" benefit touted by apostles of devaluation is projected inflow of about $15b which is not guaranteed. And nobody can say for sure in what form this will come in. Whereas, the day the devaluation is effected, $25b out of the $45b current value of Nigerian stock exchange is wiped out. The value of dollar or Euro denominated loans increases by about 40%, and local borrowing rate shoots up. All these he say is a death knell to local businesses. The resultant effect is retrenchment and closure of business and manufacturing concerns. The factories closed during the devaluation of the IBB era such as textile factories in Lagos, Kaduna, Asaba, Kano and Michelin tire factories have never re-opened. impossible27:I am not sure Buhari and his followers agree with you labelling him a "sinner". They see him a Saint, a Messiah, or even a god. |
All these prayers are well and good. But Will Jesus ever heal someone who does not believe that He has the power to heal? |
Built2last:Babes with fine legs naaaa. Sampling tinz. Oga Comptroller must "sample". You must pass the d**k test ![]() These people are so brazen. We are finished in this country |
