PoliticsRe: Obafemi Awolowo: When Will They Let The Name Go by CyberG: 4:27am On Nov 22, 2012
afam4eva: Before i joined Nairaland, i was a pan-Nigerian and i didn't know what it meant to take sides on the basis of ethnicity. People like Murtala Muhammed and Obafemi Awolowo appealed to me because of what i heard about them from the mainstream media. Back in primary school we even had a song for Murtala Muhammed. At that point i even thought he was the Prophet Mohammed that Muslims talked about. I also respected Awolowo because i was told that he provided free education in the western region and did a lot of good things back then. Now fast-forward to when i became a member of Nairaland and being introduced to the other side of the truth about these people. I was introduced to the truth that the mainstream media seem not to highlight. But i still think Awolowo was above his pairs at that time. He did a lot of the western region and he created the firsts in so many things.

There's nothing wrong in appreciating what Awolowo did back then but the question now is: Are those things still valid till date? Most of Awolowo's achievements were evident in Ibadan which was the capital of the western region but when you see that city today, you begin to wonder if it's something to be proud of. It seems that town has been dwarfed by other towns that were nonentities back then because the tide has changed.

Yorubas may have at one point being the most educated Nigerians in terms of volume but is it still so today considering the fact that every part of Nigeria especially southern Nigeria have become educationally compliant with Imo, Delta and Anambra being the state with the most people going to school. Even if Yorubas still have more educated people, it's not in astronomical dimensions.

Now i ask, why the fixation on the name Obafemi Awolowo? I think he has done his own part at his own time but it's embarrassing and disgraceful that today politicians from the south-west are using that name to play on the emotions of their people. They're not following in the footsteps of that man yet they shout Awo wherever they go. It's unfortunate that what this man did decades ago is still being used to score Yorubaland. I think it's downright shameful. I think SWesterners should not sit down and watch their rulers decieve them claiming to be following in the footsteps of Awolowo when in deeds it's the opposite.
This kind of madness can even make the good Lord delete your name from the book of life and permanently erase your midgetty, microscopic footprints from the sand of time. Leave him alone! Worry about those that are midgets in your enclave despite all the hype and helping to sacrifice more iboz than they would ever produce in all their generation.

PoliticsRe: ''jonathan Got It Wrong On Odi''- Obasanjo by CyberG: 3:37am On Nov 20, 2012
The Collateral damage from both the Odi and Zaki Biam operations were unacceptably high. Killing unarmed civilians just to make statement is unacceptable..

Fani-Kayode should have commented on the number of innocent men, women and children who lost their lives in both operations.

I agree with GEJ on this one...

ODI was a failure!!!
Your moniker alone speaks for the odious stupidi.ty that oozes from your maggoty orifice! So, it is okay for criminals to kill several soldiers and police, who have wives, children and family but when the government responds with force, it is wrong? Is the life of the ones killed by the criminals > soldiers and police? BH kills several civilians in the most violent way but that is not too much of a crime but when the soldiers respond with more violent killings, somehow they are guilty for killing the families of the BHaramites?
PoliticsRe: Biafran Zionist Movement :: Police's Mishandling Of Dissenting Groups by CyberG: 8:30pm On Nov 19, 2012
ibohoes were given AMNESTY in 1970 when they were beaten hands down by the gallant Federal troops of the Nigerian Forces. It is a betrayal that any hiboes is now even talking stupidly. Would it have been better to have erased ibohoes from the map rather than amnesty? Well, since ibohoes like making noise, let this BZM eat their own dung!
PoliticsRe: Goodluck Jonathan Is Like A Disease by CyberG: 8:09pm On Nov 19, 2012
wesley80: You're nothing but a sad hateful creature damned to watching over your soldier in perpetual fear arising from the incurable guilt you're immersed in. What a pathetic and wretched imp you are. How's it that you assumed my post was in response to the crap you posted? How's it that you assumed Gbawe isnt more than a ghost to me that deserves no more than a casual glance? I have nothing to prove to you and your antics are totally irritating and only gratify the utterly stuupid. You've been called out over and over again and your true disgusting persona laid bare for all to see and as of now, you're just an old shameless oaf struggling for relevance and content to slip through the backdoor unnoticed to poison peoples minds like a little hapless demon.
Hear me and hear me good you silly gutless old imp; You are a non issue and a completely irrelevant bufoon, you dont matter, never have and never will - at least not to me, but if you think you got youself a blank cheque to peddle your falsity unopposed, then pls dream again!
This foo.lish mumu-goatluck is surely accursed to destruction since every thread the RETARDEEN ASS-HOLE that should be summarily neutralized is the only thing you must ejaculate on all the days of your miserable cursed existence!? Here it: DAFTLUCK JONATHAN IS A DISEASE AND CURSE AND PESTILENCE THAT IS RAVAGING THAT LAND! NOW, GO TELL HIM LOSER!
Music/RadioRe: VIDEO: P Square – Alingo (+mp3 Download) by CyberG: 6:49am On Nov 19, 2012
I like P-Square and have listened to perhaps all (or most) of their songs but this one is REALLY STUPI.D! What happened to lacing the song with some content other than "dancing alingo"..."dancing alingo"..."dancing alingo"..."dancing alingo"..."dancing alingo"? I know they are CREATIVE enough to put some real content or background or something not to make it like one of those other silly 1 phrase song! Back in the days, Nigeria's best musicians would sing all over the world, several concerts, dancing, weaving stories into fantastic tunes entertaining everyone but now, jumping around and shouting only 2 words for several minutes is a song??
PoliticsRe: Why Are Most Private Universities Situated In The SW? by CyberG: 6:23am On Nov 19, 2012

PoliticsRe: What Did You Learn From The Presidential Media Chat? by CyberG: 3:48am On Nov 19, 2012
People wasting time listening to a dumb-ass retardeen? It's better to find something worthwhile to do because until he leaves that position, Nigeria's backsliding position will see no reversal.

RomanceRe: My Boyfriends Wants To Relocate, Any Advice? by CyberG: 6:20am On Nov 14, 2012
The boy must be silly or does he think the whole world ends in Malaysia? He is mentioning US, Canada, UK, France, etc like his family owns those countries! The big answer is NO! Let him go and spend the money and see if lying himself into any of the North American countries at this time will even fly! Or does he think showing up at the embassy for a visa is all that is required? Let him try it and after he wastes all his little change, he will come here and suffer like no tomorrow! So the folks who work hard here, pay their taxes, hunting for better jobs, starting businesses, etc have been doing it all for him, the special one, to just show up grab a citizenship status right from Nigeria and move over??

OnlyLIES and all his BS nonsense! You failed miserably and that is why even your ibo audience don't give a shaite about this your long epistle and they ignored it. A few pseudo-iboz propping your non-performance like Yaradua and Gaffeluck will not change anything after 1 year even if you blame the fact that you live far away under a big rock!
PoliticsRe: USA to Consider Export Of Light Sweet, Death To Nigerian Oil!!! by CyberG: 3:57pm On Nov 08, 2012
People like visionless Iweala and Goofluck will only keep talking about how other countries are discovering oil and about the economy while doing nothing tangible. Whether it's 75 or 85 what will she do about it other than helping thieves fritter away our patrimony? I won't be surprised if after acknowledging the changing dynamics, Nigeria is still caught sitting on its hands when the realities of decreased oil revenues hit home.

iboz always talking nonsense about the country! So you talk down the only country you have and praise another one, does that make you a native citizen of that country? You are the same loser who was talking about break-up, breakdown, bla, bla recently. Your miserable life would breakup and breakdown before your wish for 160 M people comes to pass.
