PoliticsRe: Realistic Options For Opposition Presidency In 2015? by CyberG: 4:07pm On Jan 23, 2013
iv4fb: whether PDP, ACN, NNPC, they're all theives, they dont have us in mind.
So? Do nothing so PDP rigs itself in, destroys and loots whatever is left of your future and that of your children and grandchildren? Never hurts to give a hard task a trial, even if you fail you will learn at least one more thing and know one more way NOT to achieve your objectives.
PoliticsRe: Realistic Options For Opposition Presidency In 2015? by CyberG: 3:42pm On Jan 23, 2013
Deep Sight: Why risk a controversial candidate at all if you are determined to seize the presidency from the PDP? Why not shop for someone without such "baggage"?
It appears you are more interested in conditioning people's opinions and choices than honestly encouraging an honest open discussion. Stop faulting everyone who mentions Buhari, it is their choice and should you disagree, state your own and move on. On election day, you can cast your single vote for your preferred ticket while others cast for theirs too.

Gboliwe: How would a Rochas/Fashola ticket sell?

Must the next president and or vice be a former governor?
Which Rochas? The guy who has been exposed as all mouth, doing nothing in Imo with less than 4 years experience will go ahead of Fashola who is the most competent governor and administrator proven within 4 years? Remove sentiments and tribalism and you will see that Rochas is a FAIL on such ticket.
PoliticsRe: Eric Schmidt Visits Fashola in Lagos [Pictures] by CyberG: 2:51pm On Jan 23, 2013
With more details emerging, some perpetual critics and cynics will only cry even more. Everyone knows where ideas, innovation, efficient administration, forward looking and thinking people are to be found in Nigeria. Hope Lagos will soon have a Google Hub and major Google office in Downtown.
EducationRe: UNILAG Announces New Convocation Dates, President Jonathan Left Puzzled by CyberG: 2:31pm On Jan 23, 2013
@Hidden post response: if this is Afam hiding a post responding to abuse by Wesley, WendyaFAT and LoserifIhearam, remember one day your job as moderator will surely end except you are so unimaginative to find another job. My posts are very much in order as I expressed my opinion which these goons are all crying over as it simply puts the retardeen president to the screws. I hope the UNILAG students make a strong statement should the MOOLAG renamer show his face. In Ife of those days (don't know about now) he is sure to be taken to task openly.
EducationRe: UNILAG Announces New Convocation Dates, President Jonathan Left Puzzled by CyberG: 2:13am On Jan 23, 2013
LOLest! Back in the days in Ife, he is sure to be detained by students! Hope UNILAG students can make some statement by taking him to tasks if the fake Ph. D mumu shows up.
PoliticsRe: If The Opposition Wants To Beat PDP They Must Run An Igbo Candidate. by CyberG: 11:23pm On Jan 22, 2013
"MUST" do WHAT?? Well, if for no other reason, any right thinking and confident individual or people will call your bluff as SOON as you tell him his free choice is now under COMPULSION because you, a non-entity to him really, want it that way! Isn't this another confirmation are ibos are only interested in their i-before-others philosophy? You people brag that Azikiwe Jonathan is ibo and president by your votes. You side with him after he made several empty promises that has not been fulfilled, refuse to join the rest of the country to wrestle the subsidy scam pushed by your ibo man president. Later, you complain fuel is most expensive in your states, and that he is not keeping his promises!

Now, other forward-looking and forward-thinking people, though imperfect, are trying to find a way out of Nigeria's current dire straits and state of confusion! CPC, ACN, etc are trying to put together some plan of some sort, even if they don't succeed they would get an A+ for effort and courage to try, iboes and APGA have put in their lots with Azikiwe Jonathan which if fine because they are only exercising their freedom of choice. But for any nasty SOB ibo or not to now come out and say that the people working hard, using their own resources MUST field an ibo candidate is the zenith of all lunacy! Whether GEJ wins or a better candidate WINS, it is up to Nigerians in Nigeria...and they can make their choice. I will only visit once in a while and pity how hard life is for the masses who are perennially deceived to vote based on sentiments and not common sense. My advice is to vote the best candidate based on his proven, past performance at the most relevant level and not where he comes from or the religion he practices!
PoliticsRe: Eric Schmidt Visits Fashola in Lagos [Pictures] by CyberG: 9:21pm On Jan 22, 2013
The argument about the choice of Fashola's dressing is unwarranted really. The proponents of colonialist, slavery-induced dressing are the ibos and few turncoats who have permanent low self-esteem, inferiority complex and a victim mentality. A lot of these dates back to even pre-civil war times due to their non-existence of culture and history. The collosal loss of the civil war further excercebated their inferiority complex and slave mentality. Just a summary thought!

@Visit: Good for Lagos and forward-thinking people who understand it is an opportunity to better the lives of their people locally, regionally and nationally.
PoliticsRe: Construction Equipment In Delta State by CyberG: 7:02pm On Jan 21, 2013
LOL, some demented Nigerians will still defend this shoddy and shambolic road construction in progress! The evidence would be arguments for and against arguments this when everyone with an iota of sense knows that a truck carrying a water storage tank is not the appropriate equipment as a water sprinkler! I am glad, very glad, to live in a country where incompetence is voted out immediately at the next election not defending such because it is my state of residence or a fellow tribesman!
PoliticsRe: Fashola: Lagos Attained 89% Budget Performance In 2012 by CyberG: 1:46pm On Jan 21, 2013
Hardfact: Garbled info?
You really think Fashola actually did a lot in 2012 to justify his claim OR Fashola is only trying to justify his claim that he did a lot in 2012?

Independent review, not just "his analysis" will give clearer picture. Besides, providing dissenting minds the more detailed and concrete info/evidence as earlier requested here will go a long way.
There is now FOI regulations that guarantee you can get the report you seek. Go get it and prove their figures wrong!
PoliticsRe: Proud Ibadan (pictures) by CyberG: 12:52pm On Jan 21, 2013
gidiMonsta: @oP the first pic is from Ogbomosho not Ibadan. 90% of the remaining pics are of the university of Ibadan and LAUTECH, Ogbomosho.

Ibadan is a city that needs massive urban renewal which I'm afraid only a military regime due to the ultra-conservative nature of the populace.
I stayed in Ibadan for sometime during my recent visit to Naija and there's already a very impressive infrastructure renewal going on and in place. Stop making ignorant comments if you havent't been there in recent times. All you see is UCH, UI and Lautech? The poster cannot post all pictures of ongoing works in Ibadan as that city is most like larger than your state or a few states in Nigeria. Urban renewal: have you been to Gate, Mokola, Akobo, the underbridge roundabout, the express area close to Iwo Road, ongoing works in Jericho road? It's a long ways to go for any government but there is surely a lot of work going on!

Coups are not for the cowards.
A coward that put ojuku to flight from a stupid war that killed 3 M baifaran suckers and lemmings must be a super coward! Daf.t thinking likes this is the only reason why those suckers were sacrificed on the alter of ojuku's myopia.
PoliticsRe: Let's See Who Wins - Jonathan Launches S’west Onslaught Against OBJ by CyberG: 5:08pm On Jan 16, 2013
T9ksy: You are so full of s.h.it. Every time you open your gob it just emerges, effortlessly. Why did you have to bring ogundipe's name into the discourse? At any rate, Ogundipe had more sense in him than that moronic ironsi who rightly deserved to get his dumb life snuffed outta him.Anyway, its on record that your late biafran warlord scampered into exile at the thought of obj advancing towards his ragtag army, with the federal troops in 1970.

@ op, who cares what shoeless and clueless GEJ does with his former benefactors, bottomline is, PDP will never get a look in again in the southwest.
LOL @ Post! Well, 1 Ogundipe >> ((Ironsi) ** 1000) + (ojuku * 1000!)). grin grin
PoliticsRe: My Vision For 2013 -ajimobi by CyberG: 3:47pm On Jan 15, 2013
I am really impressed by Ajimobi! If he ever gets to read this, I only ask and encourage him to continue on this current path and even after this term, hope he continues the same in his next term hopefully! Well, I know Ibadan very well and for the first time ever, it was possible to drive from Idi Ape through Gate to UCH! That was never possible before because of the chaos at Gate and it was only commercial vehicles that go through Gate while private detoured and went through the Government House Area. Gate now has free-flowing traffic and is more organized and clean...that was a pleasant surprise to me! The under-bridge of the Lagos Ibadan expressway is now also cleared and currently traffic flow freely there and is clean!? Unbelievable! And that fly-over at Mokola is very commendable and impressive! Hopefully, he can push through with this work which is really, really commendable!
TravelRe: Okija Presents Owerri..... (pictures) by CyberG: 3:22am On Jan 13, 2013
Why are ibos fighting over mere pictures showing what the camera saw? Now it has degenerated into egoism and insecurity?
PoliticsRe: Igbo President Will Refine And Rebrand Nigeria by CyberG: 12:36am On Jan 06, 2013
demmy: We would probably descend into civil war again with an ibo president. The egocentric attitude of ibos make them unqualified to lead a multi-ethnic nation like Nigeria.
Very true! Only this time, there will be no Gowon or Awo to help them with money, food or no victor, no vanquished policy.
PoliticsRe: Azazi End Of A Dream : The Real Story Behind His Sack by CyberG: 8:06am On Dec 31, 2012
donchris369: Brother, stop spewing thrash about biafrans and trying to rope them in the yorubas stupidity and cowardness. That is why i like the northerners, they are good in these their divide and rule tactics. Instead of you to face the article as written above you are trying to rope biafrans into the yoruba cowardness.

This is another opportunity for the yoruba people to get another hero in the mould of awolowo. We all know that they are the houseboys and servants of the northerners who have always used them as a ladder to climb to power and wage war on a tribe that seems an obstacle to their being in power. Now look at how it works:

The northerners have come with a conspiracy that the ijaws want to wipe the north out through boko haram. Is it just me, i saw in this article were, the writer said that yaradua was killed by poison through a microphone. Hmmmmmmmmmmmm......... Who in nigeria does not know that yaradua was a half dead man and damn sick sick before he became president. I can remember vividly in one of the presidential campaigns of yaradua in 2007 when obasanjo called him publicly from his hospital bed in germany to prove to nigerians that he is well. Now the northerners are saying he was poisoned, so automatically, it was a civilian coup to enthrone goodluck jonathan an ijaw man in power. Now they want to wage war on the ijaws....... I laugh in ijaw.

Now the yoruba man will be getting another hero in the mould of awolowo when the north declares war on ijaw. Yes, we all know what the yorubas can do, they will play a major role through their new hero by giving their own advise to the northerners on how to decimate and wipe out of the surface of the earth the ijaw people. Ijaw people be ready ooooooo.

We now all know that azazzi and yakowa were eliminated by the north because they see them as the biggest threat to their birthright of their hold-on to power. The recent comment of a respected imam sheik gumi justifying the death of yakowa a christain and infidel to the muslims and this article justifying the death of azazzi an ijaw man percieved to be a threat to them is a clear indication that this men were eliminated. Now the plan is to eliminate jonathan so that sambo can take over power, meaning power returning back to the north. Why not, they have already said that yaradua was killed through poison, so they have to revenge back and damn any consequences and kill jonathan an ijaw man.

The yorubas who are well known as coward will be a grooming a new hero and leader that will advise the incoming nothern government(sambo) on how to eliminate the whole of the ijaws if they dare challenge the north. Yorubas are well known cowards and always dances to the tune of the north. And in the future when an ijaw man writes his memoir on the war to elimintate the ijaws by nigeria and they indict their new yoruba hero to be , they will all come out and say that they ijaws are known for whinnig. Well i just pity the ijaws because they should be ready to go it all out as the yorubas and northerners are about to give them the war of their lives.

We at the other end will just sit down and watch as the yorubas and northerners go all out to wipe out the ijaws.............. Who will be the new awolowo of the yoruba people?........... let me guess, maybe tinubu or obasanjo or.......... hmmmmm........lolz. Cowards who are houseboys to the northerners. Oya yoruba people it is time to get a new leader that you will be worshiping like how you worship awolowo. Dayokanu or koruji, this war is an opportunity for you to be a hero in the yorubaland. Better be warming up to go and advice the northernerns on how to deal with the ijaws.

MEHN THIS WAR GO SWEET OOOOO, WHICH CHANNEL WILL THEY BE SHOWING IT ON TELEVISION, BECAUSE I WILL JUST SIT BACK, RELAX AND WATCH AS THEY GO IT ALL OUT.
It is on record that Yoruba military commanders effectively destroyed and killed the ibhoe secessionists and their useless plan so much so that the chief warmonger and woman wrapper ojuku ran away to Abidjan, yet the effective winners are the cowards? Ibohoe losers were treated to a decisive loss when they misadventured towards SW at Ore, yet the people who won the decisive victory are cowards? So what does that make the permanent loser ibohoes??

I see lots of improvement and changes in Ibadan compared to before: the road from the gate to uch to mokola has been fixed, an impressive flyover at the Mokola roundabout making traffic easier from dugbe. to sango, the underbridge iwo road area has been cleared like oshodi, etc. Hope the pace of work is sustained.

Any experience with an ISP that works well in both Ibadan AND Lagos?
