PoliticsRe: 43 Spare Parts’ Shops, Closed & Traders Arrested In Lagos by CyberG: 8:38pm On Feb 11, 2013
manny4life: Big and fewer companies? From where? You think big and few companies will sustain on this enormous and outrageous amounts called registration fee? Well, even here, CVS, Target, Walmart and their rest will cease to exist if this kind of laws exist.

Well, if you want big and fewer companies doing just that, the opportunity is gonna be there. In as long as traders exist and black market is alive, there's no telling. As for them moving to Nassarawa or wherever, they say, distance is no barrier to success or something good, so hey, if that's where they find gold, they should go for it. Although I do not support Nasarrawa but I support them relocating to their own place, let mechanics travel far out and get it.
You are not thinking straight if you think a handful of all ibo spare part traders, contributing only marginal revenue to the government purse means a thing if they leave! I DARE YOU TO LEAVE NOW...PLEASE!! If all people who think like you leave and NEVER come back, imagine the space that creates for law abiding sane Nigerians to conduct business in Lagos! No mechanic will be travelling to you because you manufacture the parts? Seriously!? Well, for the first time, foreign manufacturers of car parts might actually be taking us more serious and allow their things to be shipped in, bought over the internet, etc because they will be big sales and service operations that will not just commit a big scam and run away to under the rock the sprang from. Can you just go and build your house and leave another man's house alone??

PoliticsRe: 43 Spare Parts’ Shops, Closed & Traders Arrested In Lagos by CyberG: 7:33pm On Feb 11, 2013
kettykings: The Spare parts traders have been in existence for more than 10 years in Lagos some 30 years, what happens to the Mechanics , Tailors , Food Vendors are they not non stock Business too.

even at that the Government of Virginia is charging an equivalent of N4000 or $25 while Lagos Government just woke up from the Slumber and is charging N50000 to N75000 or $4000 to $5000
You must be an illiterate or just very dull if you can't even convert N50,000 to naira at the rate of say N150 = $1. ==> 50,000/150 X $1 = $ 333.33. How is that $ 4,000?? Playing the victim had added to your stupidi.ty obviously.
PoliticsRe: Ohanaeze To APC - Field Igbo Presidential Candidate, by CyberG: 3:43pm On Feb 11, 2013
slimghost: Buhari/Fashola ticket is a good one no doubt, but still Igbos would find it very difficult to give them their votes against someone who is trying to integrate them into the political mainstream of this country. We have had it rough with Fulani/Hausa/Yoruba leadership in the past, so what makes you think we can trust these ones? What APC need to do is show Igbos that they have their interest at heart and that they would be given EQUAL opportunity to excel in all fields of life in this country!
Let them go and work hard just like it has taken ACN years to get to its present status! Even OBJ disrupted the momentum of the then AC, and they lost all progress from 99 in 2003 but what did the core of the party do? They learned from it, re-innovated the strategies working in the trenches and being patient and steadily winning progress back to its followership. For Buhari and his team, they were trying hard and when Buhari contested the election and was rigged-out, was it not an ibo VP Eme Uzoeke that jumped ship to the PDP even before the court cases were decided? Before you know it, they were scheming out the arrow-head of their party but what did he do? Take it on the chin and then formed CPC with some of his core loyalists and make entreaties to the people and he came away winning all the states in the North. Now this 2 come together to synergize, should they now abandon their work, the people who believe in them, more than half of all the states in Nigeria to pander to iboz who will surely betray them? iboz control only 5 states; 35 - 5 = 31! Those 5 states will not be won anyway because iboz are clannish voters who will take any financial inducement or empty promises from any politician - cutting of their nose to spite their face!

If Buhari / Fashola are nominated and they work very hard and ARE still rigged out, guess what? Life will continue but I am sure neither of those 2 will suffer personally or economically! I myself will be here to check in on you guys and have a good laugh at your legendary stupi.dity!
PoliticsRe: Ohanaeze To APC - Field Igbo Presidential Candidate, by CyberG: 3:29pm On Feb 11, 2013
slimghost: Dont you think the North has made it impossible to sell a muslim/muslim ticket to the SE and SS! common man, be honest with yourself.
BS! What is muslim-muslim ticket? Must you combat every problem with the same useless solution? If it is not your tribalism, it is religion, is everyone from the SE and SS stupi.d? No, I don't think so because I have friends that have not had their brains substituted with your brand of nonsense! If Buhari/Fashola are nominated and they both have verifiable evidence of performance and actually getting the job DONE, much better than what the retardeen has done in 6 years as president and as state governor, why will they not get the votes of progressive Nigerians? It is not like they are extremists that will sabotage their fellow country men and others with their religion! A leader is a leader not by tribe or faith but you either have it or not but iboz say here that iboz are not destined to be LEADERS: "Igbo enwe eze" or is that not what you all say? Let them nominate the best, even if they are herbalists, so far as there is a strong record of performance, leadership, bridge-builders to other parts of Nigeria, etc and EVEN if the retardeen is rigged-in or iboz sabotage themselves, that would have been sticking to principles over short term gain! iboz are the masters of sabotaging long term real interests by going for the short term, narrow financial interests at any cost and they turn around and blame the Hausas and Yorubas who are patient, meticulous builders, who are not unstable in all their ways like iboz!

slimghost: Stop fooling urself. The way its going now, I think its better to vote the so called "retardeen" than vote for a party of treacherous and back stabbing idi.ots! Come 2015, yall should be ready to cry me a an ocean!
You must be REALLY a little silly kid if you think anyone is going to be crying except YOU when suffer-head follows with your destiny! Ha...I carry a different passport than your sorry as.s and unlike you and the people who will suffer, I could be at almost anywhere on this planet only by purchasing a flight ticket, does that sound like someone who will be crying when Nigeria votes their usual piss-poor national leaders? Did I not breeze into Nigeria during the holidays and see how almost the average Nigerian perpetually seems to be angry and frowning just by the look of his face? Ha...that is not what I see here everyday and most people are at least happy enough not carrying the gloom imposed by the useless government on their head! I challenge YOU, VOTE RETARDEEN, see if I will still not enjoy even a better life than I am now!

alj harem: I am starting to hate this site

1. Peckhamboi wrote absolute trash, NO ANALYSIS, NOTHING all but insults AND YET GOT THAT AMOUNT OF LIKES ? Amazing only on Nairaland

2. Why can't APC field in an Igbo candidate, ARE YOU TELLING US THAT ACN AND CPC HAVE NO IGBOS IN THEM ?

3. Must APGA join the merger before it becomes a national party ? Are we practicing democracy or tribalcracy in Nigeria.

@ Igbo Nairalanders, on behalf of Yorubas on Nairaland I apologise incase you all are having any misconception.
You have no need to apologize for individual opinions of people, why not just state yours just like iboz state theirs? There is no need to pander to an ibo-ite who will still slander you at your back. They call every other part of Nigeria names, but they are the worst and so people should not state their opinions? @ Your comment, there are iboz in ACN and CPC, a minority, will their iboness be the reason why the party will WIN? People who have not built any bridge beyond their immediate families thrown up because they must choose 1 ibo out of a handful and present them to 140 M who do not see them as anything significant!? Abeg! Look, LET APC choose the best set of guys they can find (Hausa, Yourba, MB, SS etc) but not ibo to win only 5 states? If they LOSE, GREAT...the people have spoken and next time they can try again.

There is NO BIG DEAL if they lose an election but lose it honourably! Retardeen will try to rig the election anyway so the APC should put in their best and keep strategizing and keep getting better and readying for the time they get the people's mandate! If a bad government is elected like the retardeen, who will suffer? The ibos, hausas, yoruba, etc will suffer together!

LOL...who cares? That's a threat, to who? I DARE you to elect your retardeen and he doesn't need iboz though because he will surely RIG himself in nonetheless. So after 2015, what next? Cry for presidency again?? In FACT, let retardeen win again and I will sit right here and laugh the buffoons that vote in the retardeen to scorn when he hits you left, right and center with all the crap he can muster! If I feel like, I will breeze in to your country and shake myself at the foo.l who cut off his nose to spite his face! Hahahaha

Bliss4Lyfe: Events in London of 6-10 August 2011 is still on my mind. The Metropolitan Police shot and killed 29-year-old Mark Duggan. Under 10 hours, a police station was burnt down, Two police patrol cars, a passenger bus and several shops were attacked and set alight in north London as violence erupted. ...
It is quite stupi.d of you to compare an apple to an orange! MASsobs antecedents are well known in Nigeria and can not be compared to the boy killed by Met Police. Well, assuming you are sure, will you BOLDLY lead the mob to attack and burn down the police stations? Now only a few criminal secessionists have been killed and you cry, a mob advancing on a police station will bring out all the soldiers and mopols in the barracks and you know what they will do? The same thing that is being done to BH. The same thing that happened during the police action of 1967! MASSOB = BH = terrorists!

BS! Iboz did not contribute any planning/organization/vision, etc to the APC so why would they even expect to reap where they did not sow? APGA with only fringe involvement with APC already said they did not give permission to anyone to take them to the merger, so how can iboz even think they deserve a place at the table? Their narrow mindedness contributed a lot to retardeen's reign of stupidity over Nigeria. Then, they want Biafra, you see iboz are really confused! Let them clean up first and earn their place not expect to be spoon-fed the presidential mandate.
PoliticsRe: Pro Gej's Response To My Experiene On The Train Ride Of Hell by CyberG: 4:38am On Feb 10, 2013
You should know the writer is a paid hack...just one of the bastards like insincere loser and his ilk on NLand. Yes, there are seats that use "Priority Seating" on trains but these are not LONG distance trains that travel for 21 HRS! Standing on the trains is very okay when you are taking the metro which is just a train service within your city/town, etc and you might be disembarking in 10 mins or thereabout. However, there's no way oyinbo will sell tickets for more than twice the number of seats available which is the reason people have to stand in the first place. Does a government with scores of ministers and hundreds of special assistants need advice that more trains are required on a route that is very busy? If they do, it just shows that they are all retardeens like you the poster and your loser president!
PoliticsRe: Why I'm Glad Ndigbo Have No 'leaders' by CyberG: 4:30am On Feb 10, 2013
If ibos have no leaders, do not believe in leadership, WHY do iboz clamour to be voted for as president? I mean, NOW, all parts of Nigeria know that no ibo is cut out for leadership, so NO NEED for them to bother to even look your way if ibos campaign for eternity. Maybe this is why Ijaws now easily trump the iboz? In any case if iboz have no leaders, does it mean ojuku was and is no longer ibo leader? So, at least we can agree ojuku was a follower? Abeg clarify which version of your many stories we should believe.

SportsRe: Should Siasia Share In Keshi's Glory? by CyberG: 7:16pm On Feb 08, 2013
Credit should be giving to Siasia just like Keshi's successor MUST give him credit in so far as Nigeria's senior-level soccer experience is concerned. The whole system (if it actually runs as a system) should be such that every new coach builds on the work of the previous coach in some ways while adding, extending, improving, etc as necessary. The important thing is to realize that you can't build something on nothing and so it is instructive to always give credit to those that worked hard on a project before you had a chance to add to your collective success!

PoliticsRe: What Of If Okorocha Emerges As Presidential Candidate Of the Mega Party? by CyberG: 11:06pm On Feb 05, 2013
Why will any moro.n even mention Okorocha or his ilk as presidential material? Wait! Is it not the same Tinubu, Buhari and some of their most visionary, measured and forward thinking lieutenants that architected and created this alliance / merger? So, why will people who have ALWAYS derided this men, tarnish their reputation unjustly suddenly become the ones to benefit from their work, sweat, patience and good sense?? Was APGA ever interested in a merger? Are they not the usual sellouts such that they will do the bidding of anyone that pays the right price? APGA is the most junior partner of this alliance and have no negotiating advantage over the more established parties, who are the designers and executors of the idea.

What is important is to present a candidate with a REAL record of achievement, completely NIGERIAN (not secessionist), a strong grasp of the issues and WELL ARTICULATED solutions that will solve the problem - in short the BEST man in every possible way. Now, if that man is from the tiniest tribe in Nigeria or the biggest one , N, S, E or W, I am sure most reasonable and progressive true Nigerians will vote for him. Okorocha's ridiculous policies and scandals of punching everyone in his way, his poor record of achievement and < 4 years of governance completely excludes him from consideration. A good candidate must of course be acceptable to his own people and MUST be able to comprehensively deliver every state in his region and make in-roads in other zones + be well complemented by a deputy who is ready to step into NATIONAL leadership immediately not a fumbler and retardeen like Goofluck! In a nutshell, forget Okorocha, let him impress Nigerians and Imolites in 4 years, 8 years; then we'll see if he is up to the pay grade. The party does not need a traitor with a secessionist agenda, who cannot decide if he wants Nigeria or a secessionist state, who is PDP in disguise and will in the end not even be able to win comprehensively in his zone.
Considering the deaths of Yoruba NYSC members during the last election. Buhari has not apologized for the deaths caused by his actions and inactions. Are Yorubas going to abandon these guys just like that? like they did Abiola (more recently the unilag stuff). Will the Yorubas still trust the north after all their ordeals in their hands as regards trust. As far as I know that Mega party is a flop and Rochas (the clown you held a birthday festival for himself, declared a public holiday for it and broadcast it on national tv) is a fool for dragging igbos into this mess.
My question again: will the Yorubas vote Buhari? We need to understand you.
You make NO SENSE but it's because you are scared and worried that the people you abuse racially all the time are FAR AHEAD of YOU and everything your lineage could ever represent! Is there any evidence that Buhari was responsible for the deaths? Has ojuku apologized to the 3 M ibhoes that his actions and decisions wiped out? Well, worry about that! When voting time comes, everyone will vote for whomever they like, you will also have your own vote. It is NONE of your business whether Hausa and Yoruba or Ibos vote one way or the other. You are nothing to any of them to even ask such a silly question. In the end, you make no sense and just crawl back under the rock you came from and stew in your tribalistic broth!
