Religion / Re: Jesus Asks The Oga....... by cyrexx: 3:10pm On Mar 17, 2013 |
@ frosbel and ijawkid, But really, what is the difference between these two statements. 1. My God, why have you forsaken me? And 2. My Oga on top, why you forsake me? How is the second statement blasphemous and childish, whereas the first one is not? 4 Likes |

ooman: Good thinking. Unfortunately, the religious mind has been so much configured that they do not realise it's the failure of their imaginary God, not human failure, if the humans that god wanted to believe him do not believe him. That means he woefully at his tasks. It's called Almighty Screw-up.

This is interesting. As the Great Awakening begins, I greatly commend you, Uyi Iredia Every enlightened minds go through this phase you are going through. It takes the boldest of mind to examine and challenge the indoctrination you've been force-fed from childhood. I salute all the brave minds who have taken this bold and logical step on this golden road less travelled. 2 Likes |
Phones / Re: Android Tablets Ruuning Low On Internal Memory by cyrexx: 7:18pm On Mar 11, 2013 |
simplicit: sorry the internal memory is suppose to be 512mb but what am seein is total space 155mb and the available space is 7.45mb....pls any solution to this? I guessed as much. I thought they said internal memory on joypad is 4gb,why 512mb again? Anyway, if that's the case, the only solution is to link your apps on internal memory to the second partition of your sd card using link2sd. This is similar to solving memory problems on tecno n3. I guess you already know how to do this. You can Google how to properly use link2sd to solve memory issues |

simplicit: yes d available space is 10mb and it says 145mb used...pls i dnt understand dis, i tot 2gig out of the 4gig is suppose to b for ram while d remaining 2 gig 4 appsRam is different from internal memory + rom. The ram on your device is 512mb and installed apps do not affect this at all. It's your internal memory that your apps use. But are you sure your device is 4gb internal memory? From this calculation of 145mb + 10mb, it seems the internal memory is not the same as what was written on the cover of your phone(4gb), maybe it's a mistake somewhere, you may need to go back to where you bought your device and complain to them. A 4gb rom/internal memory plus 16gb memory card should not give you any headache about storage at all. At least not until you've installed a trailer load of apps on both the card and internal memory. I hope you bought from a reputable dealer? |
Religion / Re: How Do Atheists Determine What Is Right Or Wrong? by cyrexx: 12:10pm On Mar 11, 2013 |
inspiredbyGOD:.: An atheist is a normal human being with feelings and empathy, just like you. The only difference is that he doesn't believe some things that theists do. That doesn't remove the natural human empathy and moral instincts our evolutionary history has bestowed upon us. We still have desires to help our fellow human beings and better our world.
Have you asked yourself how many atheists commit all these crimes and bad things you listed. It is Christians and Muslims who do these, not atheists. The religionists (Christians and Muslims) require a holy book to caution them from but an atheist knows that we are humans and our actions affect others and we all have desires to better our world. If among your children, one of them requires punishment before he does his home work and the other one does not need to be threatened with punishment before he does his homework, which of the two do you think will perform better academically, other things being equal?

Logicboy03: What surprises me is how the imaginary OMNIPOTENT ALLPOWERFUL Yahweh /Allah is UNABLE to woo everyone to believe him but depends on his faithful servants to impose beliefs about him on others to the extent of killing apostates. Can't his omnipotent power be used to make everyone believe him? It speaks volumes so loudly that IT IS HUMANS LIKE YOU AND ME WHO CREATED THESE GODS AND IT'S HUMANS LIKE YOU AND ME THAT PERPETUATES HIS EXISTENCE IN THE MINDS OF OTHER HUMANS. It's safe to say with Neil that it's actually God who looks down and worship us, cos we created him.. 2 Likes

You may not realise but the concept of eternal life or eternal punishment based on one's religious belief is simply delusional and psychopathic evil. We have been indoctrinated from childhood to believe this nonsense so much that we don't see anything wrong with it. 4 Likes

Everybody is free to follow their fantasy, I won't stop them; but as for me, I desire no eternal life cos it diminishes the value of the only life we've got. Religion makes us look forward to an imaginary second life while surrendering our real life to religious control. 5 Likes

The concept of eternal life or eternal punishment was brought forth to generate followership for religions. A closer look at the idea will show that it, as well as entire religion itself, is purely man-made control mechanism. 8 Likes

ciphoenix: Seriously? When Airtel gives 1GB for N1200 and you can use MTN BIS unlimited data for N1500 + $5 (droidvpn). And these BIS plans can work on good Android devices that costs far far less than this BB10. Glo must be joking. 1 Like |

Phones / Re: Blackberry Vs Iphone: Which Is Better by cyrexx: 6:26pm On Mar 08, 2013 |
Of what use is BBM when you have WhatsApp that runs cross-platform? AIRTEL 1gb BIS and MTN unlimited BIS can now be used on iphone and android devices. We have good and functional 3G android devices that sells for less than N15,000, much much cheaper than the cheapest BB BlackBerry lacks so many useful apps and games you find freely on iphone and android devices. So tell me again about the advantage of blackberry over iphone and android devices. BlackBerry is gradually losing relevance in the global market as well as in Nigeria. 1 Like |

Music/Radio / Re: R There Other Lovers Of Rock Music Like Myself In Nairaland? by cyrexx: 8:50pm On Mar 07, 2013 |
Wow, So, I'm not the only Naija guy who digs rock music. Good to know I am not alone. These rock songs are my playlists that I shuffle regularly. I have preference for female vocalists *Michelle Branch : Everywhere, Are You happy now, here with me, all you wanted etc etc * Anastacia : paid my dues, left outside alone, sick and tired * Meredith Brooks : bit.ch * Adam Lambert : what do you want from me * leanne rimes:can't fight the moonlight. * Avril lavigne : all the songs in all her albums from "let go" to "under my skin" to "the best damn thing" to "goodbye lullaby ". I just love this babe with all my heart. (hey, rodeo0070 keep off my babe, LOL.) * natasha Bedingfield : take me away, unwritten. * jaci velasquez: unspoken, speak for me. * dc talk: in the light, my deliverer, coloured people, what have we become. * krystal Myers ; love it away, make some noise. *Jennifer knapp: undo me. * britt Nicole : all her songs in all her albums. This girl is sooo good and inspiring. |

^^ Contactivation. Hmmm, maybe there are some powerful energy that humans can tap into that we have not fully understood and our fore fathers thought they were God's, you know, the same way they thought thunder and diseases were the works of Gods. They could have called our electronics and computers Gods too but we know they are not gods. I am an open minded atheist, atheist particularly to abrahamic god but agnostic to possibilities of powers beyond human capacities , I know and believe that there is no Yahweh or Allah anywhere, but human imaginations who invented those gods, but if you can teach one or two things about CONTACTIVATION of actual powers beyond present human capabilities, I am willing to learn. Thanks. 1 Like |
