na must say u no go jst get sense? Even if na smal one?
It seems you woke up on the wrong side of your bed. Since you came on this thread you have gone about insulting people, yet you will claim to be better than Oshiomole. Your uncouth behaviour proves otherwise. Learn some manners. |
kingthreat: The album cover art really sucks. It looks like a book cover for those creepy ghost stories.. The creative director behind it needs to be re-examined. He should have consulted the pros in Nairaland's Graphic section, they could have done something more appealing.Seriously dude? You don't see any correlation between the artwork and the title? Of course it's supposed to be creepy. Does the image of slave merchants depict a happy and appealing scenario to you? ![]() |
What I dont get in all of this is why a minister will be shot at on a Friday night at Minister's Hill and the incident was not reported to the police until Monday evening. Is that how inept the minister's security detail is? Isnt that neighbourhood usually crawling with MOPOL? Is that how bad the police is now? Gunshots fired..., eh..., dont worry will report it on Monday. Something just aint right. |
slimthugchimee: Rubbish him son dey mis nah useless owerri radio station him dey go mtchwwww abeg make i hear wordAbeg, you go fit send transport money make pale fit take night bus come Lagos con announce for Brila FM? |
Hhm, this has the trappings of a Mikel Obisque transfer saga. Make I grab front row seat. |
Ah, I guess I was hallucinating when I saw this same Metuh of the PDP on AIT saying the election was free and fair. Gov. Chime, please confine me in your governor's lodge, I think I'm loosing my mind. Mtschewww... |
izunned: you yorubas are so full of sh..it.very Arrogant and empty barrel boasting people.I have never seen people with soo much paper qualifications , but yet so incopetent and very dumb to impact positively on any thing, even when given a Cart Blanche to run a place, institution or a company.tell me which person from your boastful region thats has impacted positively in any ministry like princess odua,or any one from you people stock that was an aviation minister who moved that sector above what he found it.i dont have the simplest iota of doubt that GEJ will regret helpin to push that man to that position, because from history you people lack the technical competence to improve on any place you people headed, except leaving it worst than you found it.I rest my CaseBehold another dumb post on this thread!!! I don't know how some of you allow tribalism to get the better of your reasonable judgement such that you end up posting stuff that makes one question your intelligence. No Yoruba has ever impacted positively in any sector in this country? Really? I would advise you to attack specific people and stop unintelligent generalizations. A lot of wonderful people have giving their best to this country irrespective of the tribe or state of origin. A little history lesson would surely help you. |
Datruggedman: 24yrs old stil in secondary skul?,fake story, neexxttYou are obviously not at terms with the realities of our time. As a youth corper many years ago, I met students much older in secondary school. Guess you are a city-based undergrad. |
Congratulations to the good gentleman. Please insist on being driven around in the armoured BMW's when in Nigeria o! After all, that was why they were bought. |
Damn! Now it all adds up. I do believe that I'm a victim of this wickedness. Ha, oga panel, na God go punish you o! Let me go and check with my mechanic if the thing is still there or not. ![]() |
RIP young one. This must be real sad news for his all-conquering team mates. |
oh no! i'm was looking forward to see Bance terrorize defences at the world cup. don't ask me with what o! you know now. |
@Naptu: Why is there no thread for the Algeria vs Burkina Faso match? If you want to see Bance at the World Cup, you know what to do. Mukina, oya do the needful. ![]() |
Oga you did not play the team that won 2006 world cup, you played the team that did not move past the group stage of the 2010 WC. I think the team did not do badly but lets not deceive ourselves to think we did better than italy. As nigerians we owe ourelves the responsibility of telling ourselves the truth and tell keshi same. The truth of the matter is that we have qualified for the WC, but to do well we need at least 6 new players in the team. The defense is really really suspect. We cant go far with he likes of ogwueke in the central defence.
Yes, but the same team bounced back to reach the finals of Euro 2012 and the semis of the Confed Cup, loosing both game to Spain. They've come a long way from 2012. But yes we need to improve although I don't think it is necessarily by dropping the likes of Egwueke, Francis and co. The defenders in our USA 94 squad were not exactly world class defenders, but the team played as one. |
Ajibel: Some Nigerians are so hard 2 please thats y i'm harsh on them. Imagine folks saying it was a boring game, we were just lucky n all that,,,, patheticDont mind them. Do they even consider the pedigree of Italy? 4 time World Cup champions na beans? |
collynzo2: I love the dressing down Enyeama gave Mikel. If he didn't want to play, he should have simply asked to be substituted.Yeah, totally loved that too. Mikel needs to understand that his quick passing game is much better than his hold-up play. He is easily dispossed of the ball when he does that. |
mikeansy: ......Guy, you seriously think Yobo and Taiye Taiwo are the answers to our defensive problems? You seem to have forgotten the events of the last world cup. I'd rather have players from the U17 than those two. |
mikeansy: the major problem is our back 4 can not play from the back without Omeruo, Oboabona, Echiejile and Ambrose we have no back 4 keshi must change his subs Kwambe, Benjamin Francais and Egwuekwe are no world cup materials!Honest question, who would you suggest as better options? |
Omó Enyeama no even shake for dat free kick. |
AyodejiCharles: Nigeria will fail in the world cup if Keshi takes this kind of inexperienced home based defenders!!!Easy dude. Its gud exposure for those guys. We dont really have solid defenders in Europe when you think of it. |
AyodejiCharles: Nigeria will fail in the world cup if Keshi takes this kind of inexperienced home based defenders!!!Easy man, its good exposure for those guys. We dont have too many solid defenders in Europe mind you. |
Can someone please tell Mikel he is not Maradona. The Italians are playing a more pressing game and closing us down quicker now. We need to release the ball quickly. |
SEE, they ll FIRE YOU. HARDWORK or NOT. I agree that most employees are on the downside. But MOST Companies still OVERUSE the hardworking ones, and when they exhibit a lil glitch, they FIRE THEM. I no wan mention any coy!
Yes, there are companies that use and dump their staff, no doubt. But hardly will you see a wise employee who will fire his cash cow. Most people get fired when they become expendable. The trick then is not to be expendable. Many people get too comfortable on their jobs and positions. The world is constantly changing and technology is improving. The same way you were doing your job five years ago does not apply now, but many fail to realize that. Hard work isn't just resuming on time, spending long hours and meeting deadlines. What new and innovative solutions do you offer your employer? You are a cashier at a bank and counting money, stamping cheques and vouchers and balancing your books is all you know to do and you think you can do that continuously for five years? Chances are they'll kick you out and employ a fresher at half the cost because your increasing salary no longer matches your job description. I know a young banker who is a master at foreign languages. Spanish, French, Chinese Mandarin and German. Trust me he has survived many bank lay-offs but instead constantly got promoted just for possessing that extra others don't have. That said, many Nigerians also work in sectors they are not passionate about, hence the lack of drive to propel themselves forward towards excellence on the job. You can't apply yourself to a task you don't enjoy, and soon even your employer will notice. |
Lanceslot: No time for nonsense, I hate working for someone, that's why I am nd will always remain my own boss. I don't work for anybody.Good for you. Question is what do your staff think of your company? Will they agree that you treat them well and pay them well? That of course is if you presently have an employees in your company, although I'm sure you would want to expand eventually even if you are the only one for now. |
This is a very subjective thread. Any disgruntled employee or former employee who was laid off can come here and say their organization use and dump members of staff, even when they are the guilt party. In truth, many Nigerians lack quality work ethics. From the public to the private sector the trend is the same. We want to do "small work" and earn mega bucks (owo pupo, ise kekere as one musician sang). That is why service in Nigeria is very poor. Someone being paid to do a job treats the customer shabbily because he feels he is doing everyone, including his employer a favour. We forget that hard work is the bedrock of success. Hold up before you say you'd rather work smart. Even working smart requires a lot of hardwork. Working smart means acquiring knowledge that your peers and competitors don't have. It means applying such knowledge appropriately. It means re-inventing yourself constantly. That's a lot of hard work. Yes, many companies take advantage of the failure of our labour laws, but Nigerians attitude to work really needs to improve too. |
seriousspy: Who gives a rip about your dear NTA? The difference is I pay upwards of 11k monthly and I have every right to demand good service. If I didn't have a choice and had to watch NTA, it would be a different story. Simple as...While I feel your pain, I bet you'll lose any law suit once they pull out those small print text under the heading "Terms and Conditions Apply" |
alakid: This AIT commentator is so unprofessional! How can you shout goooooal for upto 30secs as a commentatorYou should listen to South American commentators shout goal for a full 60 secs. But AIT dry sha. |
ritababe: The midfield is not working enough, mikel is doing nothing keshi should bring igiebor and remove mikelHey, come back o! You wey nor wear shirt wan go dey run topl.ess for main road? |
Full stop! |
mikeansy: let me know what you think when you see them play in a proper pitch against Italy on MondayGbam. This match was one last month in Ethiopia in my opinion. This Ethiopian team lacks the quality to defeat us in Calabar. It's so obvious from their play. Let's see how we play against the Italians. Then I will judge. I don't expect us to bet the Azzuris. I just want to see how we play. |
What is Musa complaining about? |
I want to believe the Eagles are conserving energy for the game against Italy on Monday. I just want to believe that is the case. |
