He truly has mastered the act of propaganda. ![]() |
Respect!!! |
We should all try and be objective with our reasoning, irrespective of political affiliations. This is not the 1st time he's conducting elections. So obviously, INEC must have seen or have copies of his certificates. Was his house truly burnt? Yes Did the institution acknowledged that he graduated there? Yes Is INEC saying that he's disqualified because his credentials got burnt? No All I see here is a smart political move to remind people of 2011 post election violence perpetuated by supporters of opposition parties. And to the bros wey talk say dem no dey forge foreign certs, I laugh in swahili. Truly "who no go, no know." |
Religion truly has caused so much problems in the world. Its a shame that in this 21st century, people still act like barbarians towards their fellow men. I was hoping to see if there are meaningful contributions by Nigerians about how to tackle the issue the OP brought up, but instead I saw a lot of crusades debates going on here (even by people who know little or nothing about it). Shame. A man is free to believe in whatever he wants to, but I had hoped that in this day and age, we should have moved away from violence by religion. #UnitedNigeria #UnitedAfrica |
Jarus:Geez!!! Where did this figure come from? |
English!!! ![]() |
The Wermacht....hmmm. Good thing they didn't succeed. Big ups to the British and Russians for their stand against this great entity. |
Mine is the abbreviated/short form of a name my subordinates/colleagues have always called me since I was in secondary school. |
barcanista:You go fear 'sportmanship' na. ![]() You must think I'm pro-PDP then. Don't really care about party affiliations since most politicians in all parties in Nigeria are almost the same. Most have no morals, integrity or values. If I like you, I like you. Regardless or party. That's not to say I'm with your candidate o, but for the most part I understand and agree with most of the things you say. My only gripe with the General is that I'm against same people contesting for same position again. Just trying to get by it cause it was a military junta, if not, I'm so not happy that after so many years later, he's still coming back. Not in a country of 170M+. PS: Low life people waiting to insult or attack me for airing my opinions, don't bother. I hardly reply, especially bu11sh1t. |
Congratulations to him. 2015 would be tight and interesting. Oga Barcanista, congratulations too. You are the only progressive I've seen here that can have an intellectual discussion. Flawed at times, but mostly wise. Un like the others who would quickly look to throw insults, or reply with unimportant questions instead of answering or contributing something meaningful (won't give moniker examples). Most are exactly like the Pro-PDP supporters they always seem to degrade. Your candidate is half way there. Goodluck. |
Don't know about the rest on the list, but I do like a girl with a lil bow leg. Not them big a.ss wide bow leg, just a little curve. I think its sexy. |
Brings back memories from Cross River, Obubra camp. |
Feels like fiction to me. |
amedave:My point is 'the party changes but the people remain the same'. An opposition party member that was criticised would be appraised when he switches party and joins same people that might have criticised him/her. All over the country, we've had politicians switching parties as election approaches. I gave examples with Peter, Atiku and Tambuwal. I still think that they all think about themselves first before the Nigerian masses which is sad because most of the Nigerians youths here attack each other's posts as if the politicians truly care about them. Its an unlikely scenario but I still stand by it that some Pro-PDP people will welcome Buhari with open arms, and even praise him for it if he joins the PDP; same way the Pro-APC peeps will also welcome GEJ as a 'progressive' if he switches parties. |
Congrats to her. People should stop playing the 'party' tag that she couldn't have achieved it in another party bla bla bla. She earned it regardless of party. I keep saying on this forum that these peeps are all the same regardless of party affiliations. The day I said I liked Oshiomole, somebody brandied me a 'Pro-APC', the day I gave positive remarks about GEJ, they called me 'Pro-PDP'. They are all the same, just different party. Na even today for this Nairaland na I take know say Emerhor don go APC so tay he win their primary. Person wey don dey tay for PDP for so many years. All of dem na the same, I tell you. I'm sure some PDP peeps will accept Buhari with open arms with praises sef if he decides to join them; same way some APC peeps will call Jonathan a 'progressive' if he switches parties. If Peter Obi, Atiku and Tambuwal could switch, nothing is truly impossible. |
rezzy:Once dated a girl who bears Ovie as her name. My elder sis also has a girlfriend who bears same. Don't wanna argue. I rest my case. |
rezzy:True, some of them has 'Oghene' in its full form, but Kome's not only an Isoko name. From the full name you'll know. While Ovie is a multi gender name. Well, for better choices, ask your parents. Oldies never seem to run out of names ![]() |

Funny that people are making so much fuss about her bringing the phone out in public. For Waff city, phone dey pocket or bag for bus, taxi or keke and them go steal am. You go just come down, try pay your TP...na then you go come know say the original owners don collect their property. |
Iggy is ayt. Her winning 2 awards didn't surprise me, but Pharell not winning anyone clearly did. Who that! Who that! I.G.G.Y. |
To all those saying '25k for screen' bla bla bla, don't you have warranty? Sammy products come with a 24month warranty service valid for 2 repairs. If its faulty within the warranty period, take it to them, they'll fix it 'free of charge'. If they can't fix it, they will change it 'free of charge'. |
freshdude2:I'm really sorry. I thought you knew about football. My bad. I'm sure you will also say 'Real Madrid does not have 10 Champions league trophies'. Even FIFA won't make this blasphemous statement. |
freshdude2:1968 1999 2008 (Against Chelsea I might add) |
smallJagaban:Please don't celebrate the killing of innocent Nigerians that Obj did. I'm sure if Jonathan decides to bomb the entire conflict areas of the north without regard for civilian lives, it might curtail the insurgency. But its still not a viable option. Government shouldn't be killing its citizens, but protecting them. Obj sacked Odi without regards for civilian lives. He should be tried. |
Despite his shortcomings, I still see several improvements compared to Obj's 8years. I knew the state of certain several federal roads then and now, then there's the railway, the attention to agriculture is one I fully endorse plus the other merits Dr Okupe mentioned. Honestly, we deserve more but compared to his predecessors, this administration achieved more in certain areas. But in this day and age, we deserve way more. Truth be told, I doubt I will be able to get over Obj's sacking of the riverine communities of the Niger Delta. Government should be protecting its citizens, not killing them. |
Its quite unethical. Hell, you could steer a car with your feet if you want to, but that doesn't make it a good idea. |
Super Houseflies una well done o ![]() |
jnrbayano:Ohh yea Kleberson. He, Carroll, Bebe, Djemba Djemba and co fall into the 'etc' category. |
I personally have no problem with knowing/not knowing that. If she says it, fine. If she don't, still fine. |
tuffgongjo:Lol. That's harsh |
tuffgongjo:No |
