The Church of Satan has reacted to a statement made by Nigerian OAP Daddy Freeze, where he stated that marriage vows are satanic.

Earlier today, Daddy Freeze had taken to social media to share his opinion on the topic, where he stated that all vows are satanic, including the ones said on wedding day.

He even added that Christ said so himself.

Well, just as the Church of Satan usually responds to any statement or opinion they find contrary to their belief in Satan, they got hold of Freeze's statement and responded.

A paedophile who is fond of luring teenage girls with bread and noodles has been caught while molesting 2 siblings in Gut village, Plateau State.

According to a report by an eyewitness, the suspect, identified as James Otuneruke, from Delta State, has been luring the kids with sweets, bobo drink, bread and noodles for over four months now.

It was also gathered that the married father-of-two has infected the victims, aged 13 and 11, with an STD. Further investigation revealed that, at times, he bribes the girls with N200 so as not to tell anyone.

The case is already with the State’s police headquarters and has been reported to the State’s human rights commission.

The People's Democratic Party, PDP in Imo State has alleged that Governor Rochas Okorocha withdrew N17 Billion for his personal use in a space of 3 days.

The state PDP Chairman, Mr Charles Ezekwem, made the revelation on Saturday in Owerri, the state capital, during a press conference.

According to the party, the withdrawals were made between Tuesday, March 12, 2019 and Thursday, March 14, 2019 from Unity Bank, Polaris Bank, Access Bank and Zenith Bank.

The party said,

“In the last two days alone, Governor Okorocha and his cronies transferred ownership and re-registered more than 150 government vehicles to individuals.

Government property including furniture and electronics in Government House, Owerri, are being moved out to Ogboko, Ideato South, the governor’s country home.

“About 300 uninstalled transformers have been moved to the governor’s home in Ogboko.”It further alleged that there was an ongoing mass employment and back-dating of employment with a view to creating problems for the incoming government.

“We are also aware of the rampant issuance of Certificates of Occupancy to family members and friends of the Okorocha family”, the party said.

Popular Instagram comedian Oluwa Dolarz has taken to his social media page to accuse Prince Shola Oniru of allegedly assaulting him for parking his car behind his.

The comedian revealed that the Prince had wanted to leave a scene and his car had blocked the Prince's car out.

He then came out to reverse his car so the Prince could drive out, only for him to assault him leaving his mouth bruised.

Celebrity sisters Niniola and Teni have been spotted together on few occasions and it is being rumored the duo do not share so much in common.

However in a new interview with The Punch, Niniola has revealed that the public perception on their relationship is false and she communicates with her sister on a daily basis

Reality TV star Alex Unusual, was reported to have rejected a 2018 Range Rover birthday gift when she celebrated her birthday in February. She has however confirmed the news in a new interview.

She opened up to The Punch that though it was hard to believe but she is not carried away with material things and it was not the 1st car she had rejected.

She stated,

“I rejected the first car I received on my birthday. For me, it was not just about the gift but where it was coming from. The second car given to me was from love. Responsible fans put their money together to get me the car, while the former was from someone who liked me.

It is okay to like me but I didn’t feel it was right to collect a car from an admirer. He could decide to collect the car from me anytime he felt like. If I collected the car and I told him I didn’t want a relationship later, what would happen?”

The reality show finalist said she was aware that many ladies would jump at the offer but she didn’t regret her decision.

A suspected Nigerian drug baron in Kenya has been deported back to the country, making it the 2nd time he will be sent away from the East African country.

It is not clear how Mr Kelvin Adeshina Akinjiola, 33, returned to Kenya but the Department of Immigration Services confirmed to the Sunday Nation that the suspected drug baron was deported and arrested upon arrival at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Lagos, Nigeria.

“He was deported on Saturday and arrested upon arrival in Lagos, Nigeria,” Mr Alexandar Muteshi the Director of Immigration services told the local daily.

Security sources at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport told the local daily that the suspect was spotted at JKIA as late as Tuesday.

The local daily reported that following the arrest of Akinjiola, a former powerful police boss tried to influence officers at JKIA to release the suspect but his efforts were unsuccessful.

It’s alleged that the suspected drug baron is a well connected man.

According to local media reports, Akinjiola is a well-known figure in the city’s high-end entertainment joints where he openly hangs out with influential figures and often dishes out money.

He is also said to have armed bodyguards, known for carrying wads of money and drives expensive cars in the city.

In several instances, he is said to have recorded videos and posted them on his social media pages.

Nigerian rapper Lil Kesh, has reminded his critics that his career is not dead as publicized on some platforms, and that he only took a break to concentrate on other aspects of his life.

The singer, in a chat with The Punch, stated that he didn’t plan to do many things as a musician last year.

The Kaduna State Governor, Mallam Nasir el-Rufai, said he will not lose sleep over the result of the Saturday’s Governorship polls in the state and the the President will offer him a job should he loses.

The governor who spoke to journalists while waiting to cast his vote at his 024(A) Runka Street, Unwgan Sarki polling unit, said with President Muhammadu Buhari’s reelection, he already got a job.

He said the only set of people that should be jittery are his staff as there is every possibility they will lose their jobs if he is not re-elected.

Lagos State Action Democratic Party (ADP) governorship candidate, Babatunde Gbadamosi, yesterday, has said there is every possibility the Lagos election will be rigged.

Gbadamosi described the logistics provided by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC’s) in the ongoing Governorship and House of Assembly elections as inefficient, The Guardian reports.

He also expressed pessimism that the outcome of the elections would favour him, as it would be rigged. He further stated that the state deserves the kind of leader it elects.

According to Gbadamosi, if the result was not rigged at the polling unit, it would be rigged at the collating centre.

He said despite the funding available to the commission, it was still unable to conduct an election without logistical challenges.

He lamented that voting materials were delivered late at his polling unit 14, Allison Junction, Isele, Ikorodu, reason voting commenced at 10:50 am.

He said late arrival of voting materials was the same in most of the polling units around his ward.

A man identified as Joshua Usulor who overstayed in a hotel in Lagos and killed a female lawyer to offset his bills, has been arrested by the Lagos State police command.

On January 26, the command received a report that one Feyitayo Obot, female, aged 34, was gruesomely murdered in her hotel room at Opebi, Ikeja by the man, who immediately absconded from the scene.

According to Lagos State police spokesman, Chike Oti, a Chief Superintendent of Police (CSP), the victim’s body, which had multiple stab wounds on the abdominal region and a throat slit open with a sharp object, was recovered for autopsy.

“Although the suspect absconded after committing the crime, the Commissioner of Police, CP Zubairu Muazu, charged the Deputy Commissioner of Police in charge of the State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department (SCIID), Panti Yaba, DCP Yetunde Longe, to leave no stone unturned in ensuring that the culprit is arrested and prosecuted.

“Painstaking investigation however led to the arrest of the suspect, Joshua Usulor, on February 28, at his hideout in Victoria Island, Lagos. During interrogation, the suspect confessed to have committed the crime. He said he had never met the deceased until the day he attacked her and that he was motivated to rob her to enable him offset his hotel bill having spent two days above the one-day he paid for.

“To execute his plans undetected, he claimed he sneaked into the deceased room to steal her money and her phones. The deceased struggled with him but was overpowered. He then stabbed her with a sharp knife on the stomach and used the same knife to slit her throat. Satisfied that the woman was dead, he made away with her phones and a cash sum of N26,000.

“Investigation revealed that the deceased was a lawyer who came to Lagos for a business meeting and lodged in a hotel at Opebi. The autopsy result revealed that the following factors led to the death of the victim: Exsanguination, which implies excessive loss of blood; Disruption of the left jugular vein and sharp force trauma.

“The suspect will be charged to court for murder. Meanwhile, the Commissioner of Police has directed that the case file be duplicated and forwarded to the Directorate of Public Prosecution (DPP) for legal advice”, he said.

A Federal High Court presided over by Justice Lawis Alagoa on Monday has sacked the Kano PDP governorship candidate, Abba K. Yusuf in the Saturday’s gubernatorial election in the state.

The Judge ruled that Abba K. Yususf’s candidature is not recognized by law because no primary election was held to produce him.

The Judge, however, ruled that the PDP should conduct a fresh primary to produce a candidate that can be recognized by law before Saturday’s election.

Kabir is the main challenger of the incumbent governor of the state, Dr Abdullahi Umar Ganduje of the All Progressives Congress, APC.

A lady has taken to Twitter to share her horrific experience with a stranger who jumped into her car and tried to rape her.

The lady with the handle @monrowe said she was in her car when the unknown man hopped in and made an attempt to force his hands up her dress and between her legs.

She struggled as he tried to force himself on top of her and she finally succeeded in freeing herself from him.

She wrote:

Being a woman is scary. Last night, a random man jumped into my car, tried to force his hand up my dress between my legs and tried to force himself on top of me. I had to fight him off, scream and punch him until he got off me.

I’m extremely fortunate that I’m strong and that after a while he realised that I wouldn’t stop fighting. I was completely hysterical last night and cried for hours. Ladies, please keep your car doors locked if you are by yourself.

The police didn’t turn up for two hours and if they had, they could have caught him. I just hope something can be done because the brazen nature in which he did it indicates to me that he has and will do it again.

Vice President Yemi Osinbajo has narrated how Pastor E.A Adeboye’s prayer and God’s mercy saved his life alongside the other passengers in the helicopter crash in Kogi State last month.

According to Vanguard , Osinbajo narrated how he had come for the February 2, Holy Ghost Service late but after the service, the General Overseer called him and his wife into his office and after asking a few things offered to pray for them.

“On February 2, 2019, I was here for the Holy Ghost Service but I came quite late. After the Holy Ghost Service, I went to see Daddy (Adeboye) in his office and he said he was going to pray for me. My wife, Dolapo, and I then knelt down for the prayer.

‘Father I want you to give this my son very special protection’. He prayed again for a special protection and I was beginning to get worried why Daddy was praying about special protection. “

Nigeria's Kamaru Usman has defeated Tyron Woodley, to claim the UFC 235 welterweight title bout from the current champion.

Convener of Concerned Nigerians, Deji Adeyanju, who just regained freedom has told President Muhammadu Buhari to be prepared for another 4 years of activism

Speaking in Abuja on Saturday, while reuniting with his family and friends, he described his detention as “Vitamin C that has re-energised and refreshed” him, Sahara Reporters report.

He vowed to remain committed to holding government accountable and speaking the truth to power all the time.

"For me, I am convinced that when you lock up an activist in prison, what you are doing is that you are just giving him Vitamin C so that he can be refreshed. So, I have gone in, I am refreshed, I am re-energised. So, government should prepare for four more years of activism," Deji added.

Some inscriptions on the placards read ‘Activist Extraordinary’; ‘Welcome Back Our Hero’; ‘Go Harder Deji Adeyanju’; ‘Welcome Back Aluta Continua’.

He wondered why the government singled him out for persecution with no just cause, and expressed gratitude to President Muhammadu Buhari for making him popular during his travail.

The activist said his detention has further spurred him to be more focused, dedicated and resilient, adding that he would continue to expose all forms of injustices, propaganda and lies of the government, irrespective of the intimidation and harassment.

He said he was not afraid of being re-arrested by the government, noting that he would not stop fighting and speaking the truth, which is what he knows how to do best. He, however, denied insinuations that he was being used by opposition parties.

"If it is PDP, we will still criticise, but if they don't want to be criticised, they should leave and go to Daura. In as much as they are on top of the seat, they should get ready for criticism,” he declared.

Adeyanju was granted bail by a court in Kano last week after he had spent more than two months in prison, following his arrest by the Police over a murder case of which he had been acquitted since 2009 by a Kano High Court.

The Lagos State police command, yesterday, denied killing bus driver in the state as against the rumours circulating in town.

According to a statement released by the state’s police boss, Zubairu Muazu, the Police were on a distress call at a community in Lagos and succeeded in arresting a miscreant in the area, who only pretended to be dead.

“The Command’s attention was drawn to an online publication credited tagged ‘Police officer kills bus driver.’

“The Command would like to state unequivocally that no police officer killed any bus driver in Lagos State on the date in question being 01/03/2019.

“The incident the writer was trying to portray albeit inaccurately took place at Mosan Okunola Community in Ayobo area of the state, where a team of anti-crime policemen on routine patrol, led by Inspector Oloruntoba Gbenga, was attacked by a gang of youths suspected to be members of an unlawful society, led by one Lekan Isiaka.

“The said Lekan Isiaka, while trying to snatch a rifle assigned to Inspector Frank Ikpokpo, stabbed him on the head.

“The rest of the team resisted the criminal gang and made a distress call to their Area Command Headquarters in Ayobo, following which a team of policemen were dispatched to the scene on rescue mission.

“The rescue team succeeded in arresting the notorious Lekan Isiaka, who pretended to be dead in the video being circulated alongside his partners in crime, namely: Precious Bassey, Anayo Ugwu, Adewale Fatai, Samuel Akande, Matthew Ogbede, Adewunmi Idowu, Chukwuka Oshele and Kunle Adeola.”

Nigerian singer, Yung L, aka Mr Marley, who just lost his adoptive dad, took to his social media page to mourn him while blasting his real dad at the same time.

He called his adoptive father a hero and My Dad and mentioned that he only met his biological father twice and on the two occasions, he never recognized him.

The funeral home that was reported to have kept the corpse of the man raised from dead by Pastor Alph Lukau, has denied having the record of the corpse at their funeral home.

The founder and General Overseer of Alleluia Ministries International, South Africa, had claimed to have brought back to life a dead man during a Sunday service, news which immediately went viral.

The pastor claimed that the ‘deceased’ had spent the weekend at the mortuary before he was brought to the church for a “miracle”.

In new reports, it has been gathered that the Kings and Queens Funeral Services in South Africa has vowed to take legal action against pastor Alph Lukau for dragging its name in the alleged resurrection.

The funeral home denied having preserved the man’s body, a situation which instantly drew doubts in the whole coming back to life story.

An 11-year-old boy has been remanded in a Special Correction Centre for boys by an Ebute Meta Chief Magistrates’ Court in Lagos yesterday, for allegedly throwing a one-year-old baby into well.

The boy had been charged with murder by the police, Guardian.ng reports.

The Chief Magistrate, Adeola Adedayo, who gave the order, adjourned the case until March 6, for the DPP’s advice.

Earlier, the police prosecutor, Chinalu Uwadione, an Inspector, told the court the defendant had committed the offence on February 13, at about 4:00 p.m., at No. 6, Afolabi close, Ojo.

He alleged that the defendant had thrown a one-year-old baby boy into a well while carrying him around.

The offence, the prosecutor noted, contravened the provisions of Section 224 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State, 2015.
