Chiwude: Buhari wants to add more woes to his current predicament. First, was his 5% interview and the result was the animosity of the SE/SS towards his government. Second was the continued detention of Nnamdi Kanu against court rulings and what we have today are IPOB disturbances and protest. Third, his non-regard to the people of the SS and threats to militarize the region in search for one Tompolo, and now that threat has inspired a more deadly group to embark on nasty devastating bombings of oil facilities in the ND. And we begin to ask the question 'Does the President have advisers at all? Because a good leader does not go around stoking up tensions that has the tendency of bringing down his government. Barely, days ago rumours flew that the President was behind the tacit support for the passing of a grazing reserve bill in the Senate. That careless move undoubtedly is proving the opposition right that President Buhari is an unrepentant ethno-religious bigot. And tempers are already flaring down south and middle-belt because of the murderous activities of the Fulani herdsmen that the President seeks to protect. The herdmen issue is just one among myriads of problems and we are not even talking about the petrol subsidy removal, nor the high inflation nor the acute sufferings in the land caused by the economic ineptitude of this government, yet someone somewhere is angling for more showdowns. Let me state clearly here that an arrest on Jonathan would spell doom on our fragile unity. All the daft APC zombies pushing for such arrest should get ready to face the music when the poo hits the fan. So if he's guilty of the charges levelled against him, he shouldn't be arrested bah? I think with the views of urs, this government is also justified regardless of what we're facing at present then.... |

mmsen: Oil is not the only means of acquiring wealth or development.
The rest of the world (and individuals in Lagos) are using solar and other renewable energy and some people remain fixated on oil in 2016?
Why is the north no pursuing solar farms as a way of powering industry? That would make more sense than obsessing over a dirty fossil fuel. Bros, I am not really considering oil as the only means to amass wealth but refuting the claims of possibilities of oil reserves in those areas. I am also from SW bro..... |

Harvesthomes: @damocool you will see soon enough more resources will be discovered.I will keep the names and minerals secret, there's tons more that are yet to be discovered.Ekiti wil greatly benefit you will see...I'm a Niger Deltan Man i won't quote my source but there are huge reserves there.. I was at Osun the first time in my Life and even in a state people say idol this and that,i've never witnessed the Holyspirit manifested the way it did in me,riches are all over in Osun if nott for minerals..we need to oppen our eyes.
I'm too stressed n tired to do some serious typo...bear with me..( 10hours research daily).
@mmsen i agree the North is leeching the south seriously as a matetr of fact the statee is been run with a fraudulent style that's an off-shoot of the Islamic system, many of we South-South are married to the South West what do we do,we have tried dialogue and dialogue what do we do...i went to visit somee oil areas some years back,i'm a though black man but i was weeping at the poverty in the lives of the children, the youths were wasting away.I'm preparing my bags to go back community to community to start teaching some of my skills though.Anytime from this or next year.
I wish the yorubas would listen,On the long run the whole country suffers under this fraudulent system,i went too a motel within an estate to buy recharge card around 11pm becuase i needed to make an international call,my goodness i lost fate in the girls i saw, over 1000 girls beautiful pretty Christian looking fine girls hanging in a small area looking for people that weren't much these girls were our sisters Hausa Yoruba and Igbos cause opportunities in the country are too finite...let's not forget if the mining sector is well opened up processing companies would spring up,packaging companies, logistics, research and development, the geological chemistry physics name it overrall productivity of the country,so as a South South man i always teach where i go support each other so we can grow..I envy the potentials of Kogi Benue Nassarawa Jos for example but are they been harnessed because of " the Niger Deltans are against us and will be calling for their resources if they developed "
I hope we speak the truth and forget the divides Righteousness exalts a nation,it is lies that are reproach, moreso this world with the proliferation of Nuclear war heads everywhere won't last too long so why bottle up our potentials and resources ?
Please tell me anyone Yes! I am not disputing the facts that there are solid minerals house by those terrains but the fact still remains that no oil reserves in those areas... |

Christianity Etc › Re: You Have First Class Righteousness - Joseph Prince by damocool(m): 11:08pm On May 15, 2016 |
folks4luv: what I am saying is, just like the law wants us to be righteous, grace too seeks for us to be righteous in heart n act, but d two operates differently. you need to ask urself this, if I need to do all d work, kick myself n all that to be righteous, why should Jesus die? there is a provision for that in the old covenant. in the new order, grace comes not automatically, but it comes when we agree we are a sinner, sinner not cause we do bad things, but cause our nature is sinful, then we believe in the finished work of Christ, then we accept there is no way we can please God on our own, we can never meet his standard, he is too perfect, that's why we need to pray through Jesus every time. when we believe this, we do not automatically become perfect, we work towards perfection, but even in our imperfect state, we are righteous before God, because we have Jesus as our high priest standing for us. when we become born again n taste his love, we become a new creation, our spirit is quickened n our conscience lightened. no one who goes through Christ will b comfortable in sin. if such a person is forced into doing wrong, their will be restlessness, lack of peace, "NOT BECAUSE GOD IS ANGRY at that person" but because the person just did something that is against his nature. like a lion barking like dog. sorry I have talked too much. Sorry for quoting you, but would love to know what you meant by imperfect state.. @the capitalized part of your comment, that's not true, His eyes can not behold sin, with sin in ones life either by error or deliberately, it makes one an enemy of God.. Blood of Jesus makes provision/grace for us to go back to God and ask for forgiveness and he does forgives us.. Children of Israel are the better examples for us as God deals with sin read the book of judges, remember the children of Aaron, God killed when they made strange fire on the altar and so on.. God will never change, he frowns at sin, anyone with sin is an enemy of God anytime, any day. Jesus Christ makes the difference though, his death delays God instant judgment. His death buys us more time, makes it possible for us to pray for forgiveness and reconciles us with God.. |
Christianity Etc › Re: You Have First Class Righteousness - Joseph Prince by damocool(m): 10:22pm On May 15, 2016 |
God! Heresies everywhere, seems many don't really understand the word "GRACE AND FINISHED WORK OF CHRIST" the latter enables the former. The latter ended the constant sacrificing of lamb for atonement practiced commonly by the Israelites in the days of old, and also gives HOPE for the GENTILES.. The FINISHED WORK gives us access to God. Grace buys us time in the sight of God, it's this same grace that gives some people backing the heresies Prince is spending more time in the sight of God maybe they would REPENT one day.. Grace don't gives us license to sin after confessing to have been born again but "if error we sin" GRACE makes God to forgive us when we go to him with penitent/sober heart because of the finished work of christ 1 John 2:1 My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous: After that God expects us to be more careful and conscious if our daily living by living a righteous, holy and sanctified life, that where work comes in. We must work to compliment the finished work of christ, by obeying his commandments 1 John 2:3 And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments. 2:4 He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. 2:5 But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him. Fleeing from appearance of evil/temptation (work), study the scriptures, praying, eschew evil and sin(work).. In fact, all letters written by Paul were basically about believers work and work... So, don't think that all Antichrists will come inform of don't accept christ, don't preach, Jesus is not a son of God but a servant or better still a slave. Some will make the word of God a snare unto you, they knew that you know the word, but they will interpret it in such a way that it looks simple, and LAZY Christians believe that's just the way it should be.. |

All they do preach about is breakthrough and how you can make millions of naira. Church has now turn to business school... I rest my case your assertion isn't right bro, how many churches/denominations have you being to in the country.. Mind you no church can force you to part with your money if you're not interested in giving out, so you've got no justification of not worshiping with your fellow Christians. Now to the topic, I have a pal who does not attend church at all, but believes he's a christian because he prays and believes Jesus is Lord. He doesn't drink alcohol, doesn't commit sexual sin. But the only issue is he doesn't attend church. People say he is deceived and not a christian at all. I'm confused can you actually be a christian and not go to church? Read your Bible bro, and I don't think it's right for you asking just anyone opinion about going or not going to fellowship as a Christian ( GENUINELY BORN AGAIN CHRISTIAN THOUGH ) |
