Ibime:

Morning guys! How una dey?

It is D-DAY!

I just dey work dey pretend like say I dey work whilst surfing the net for any news on the game. Apparently, Ashley Cole took a knock in training yesterday and is doubtful. Joe Cole also took a knock but made a full recovery.

I am very unhappy with the vibe coming out from Chelsea in the lead-up to this game. Players complaining about this and that. Lampard leaving, Carvalho leaving, Drogba leaving, Grant leaving, bla bla bla. Only to wake up this morning to read this quote from Drogba when he was asked about Grants contribution:

"He just had to wait for the results to comne along or not. Like the son after the loss of his father, in our case we found ourselves with a step-father we hadn't chosen."

Listen Drogs, we know you may have a point - but is this really the time to be coming out with this stuff? Can't you wait till after the match? Everything just seems unsettled at the moment. The players are freaking me out. This reminds me of how they were squabbling before the Tottenham game in the Carling Cup final.

Lampard said "I must play." Ballack said "No, I must play". John Terry said "they better play me otherwise them go hear wiii". And so they spent the whole week arguing on the pages of every newspaper in the land. In the end, they all played and we lost the game. They just didn't seem focused on the game.

Meanwhile, Man Utd are just busy doing their thing, no one is hearing anything from their camp, not even pim. Make these Chelsea players take time O! Before they mess around and blow the greatest opportunity of their careers and the biggest night of our lives.

Anyway, Up Chelsea. We thrive in adversity as always.

BTW, did any of you hear the Mourinho interview where he said he still talks to Roman Abramovic on the phone?

Ronaldo is not yet close to what Quaresma had done for Portugal.

Ronaldo has been with Manure for how many years now? (six years) why hasn't he show his ability since? why is he showing it now.

Quaresma was the Portugesse footballer of the year for how many years?
Here is to help you.

European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / Re: Chelsea Fans: Identify Yourselves Here (Old) by Damose(m): 5:06pm On May 19, 2008
What will Ronaldo, Tevez, Evra, Scholes, and Js Park do? Messi disgraced Evra and he got Knee injury, Tevez is not up to task, Js Park is more of sholin.
It took Ronaldo 83 minute to score Derby County. Ronaldo is good that is why he's always on bench for Quaresma grin grin grin grin grin
Xerxes.:

@ Wormy,

You played a Carling cup team @ the Bridge and it took a dodgy penalty for y'all to even win the Carling cup team.
A team that had no Ronaldo, Tevez, Evra, Scholes and JS Park starting is a Carling Cup team. Vidic got injured as early as the 8th minute.
Are u this fickle? You want to compare what u will be facing at Moscow to the team that played y'all at the Bridge?
Pass the cess you're smoking to Mikel Obi to puff. grin grin grin
Y'all are about to witness attacking football at it's best. I hope Cech will be wearing his head guard because it's going to be WAR on wednesday.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / Re: Chelsea Fans: Identify Yourselves Here (Old) by Damose(m): 2:12pm On May 19, 2008
Here is your mistake, You said Chelsea will the dust on wednesday night which i do not any dust on pitch of play.

Incase you don't know essien will play 2 on that day, while Ballack and Lele if possible Mikel controls the midfield just the way he did Last season's FA Cup.

Three of VIDIC can't stop Drogba.
Please stop your bad dreams. CHAOOOOOOOOO
Xerxes.:

@ Ibime,

Keep dreaming!!!!

Chelsea have a better chance of winning? Just like u won the Carling cup final against Spurs? grin grin grin

United are stronger than Chelsea in all departments except the midfield area which Chelsea appears a tad stronger.
Without Essien, Chelsea's midfield will be weakened and if United can start Anderson and Hargreaves. . . .United will dominate the midfield.
In the attack, apart from the long ball methods to Drogba(which Vidic can deal with), Chelsea pose no threat at all.

You need to re-analyse what u are about to face in the final. . . . .Chelsea will bite the dust on wednesday.

They keep on shouting we buy player worth of 30 million pounds and cannot perform, i think by know they would have learnt their lessons. they will stop pokenosing and face their fate.
molos:

To all those who feels Chelsea don't have Fans, we don't need to come and show ourselves on nairaland before u know chelsea have fans. i know these comment are coming from Arsenal fans because of their failure in all the competition this season.

Can't u see we are better than u guys even without "THE SPECIAL ONE". It's a thing u should be ashamed of and to think of how u will buy dependable strikers, u are there counting Chelsea fans.

Not that we can't beat LIVERPOOL, is just that i don't know what is wrong.
Fine, they has fighting spirit when it comes to CPL, accepted.
ONE DAY ONE DAY ONE DAY ONE DAY i say ONE DAY we go break the jinx.
and i think the day hath come, and the day will be Wednesday April 23.
So shall it be.

The most interesting part of the whole story is that we playing @ ANFIELD first, atleast away goal will do us just fine even if we refused to beat them @ HOME.

he better be serious, who does he think he is?
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / Re: Chelsea Fans: Identify Yourselves Here (Old) by Damose(m): 10:49am On Apr 03, 2008
BEating them at home is not what we should talk for now, i think Grant has to talk to himself, watch JM tactes for a while he stop using his useless tacties that will never work. My fear is that they won't draw us on our own BRIDGE. i will not like the record that JM had laid to just break like that. even if the record will break i think it will be for a better club lilke LIVERPOOL, which ofcourse i know is not that easy for them. BEG GRANT TO THINK BETTER & FAST.

the ref does not need to collect anything from anyone. I wish all your good players (assuming Arsenal has any) will play so we will clear your doubts that a True Blue pass a Gunner (Goner) any day! Another reason why I think Grant and Roman use Jazz is cause we had two lucks last night.

Firstly, we escaped with a draw and then God blessed us again by letting Rosenburg beat Valencia.

We are still on top of the table and need just 2 points from our next two games to qualify.

God is definitely on our side.

God's favourite colour must be Blue.
Yeah right, they beta stop the voodoo and let's play game. for RSENBURG to beat VALENCIA, i see CHELSEA that played yerstaday defeated. If you recall what ROSENBURG played us at home. so for this i think GRANT has a lot of work to do.

Abramovich Offers Chelsea Job To Van Basten - Report

Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich has allegedly offered the manager's job at Stamford Bridge to Marco Van Basten.

The Sun claims to have learned that Abramovich made his move for the Holland national team manager at the weekend, and is now awaiting the former Milan striker's response.

Van Basten was seen sitting in the next row to Abramovich at Old Trafford on Sunday as Chelsea lost 0-2 to Manchester United in Avram Grant's first game as team manager in succession to Mourinho.

They will all be happy because FELIX is always threat for them, because they can't imagine someone like MOURINHO (MOCFC) to rule them like that.
medube:

The fact that keeps making me laugh here is how opposing fans are so happy that JM has left Chelsea. I think he was laways a thorn in the flesh of Mr. Wrigleys and Arsene the Assehole, infact like a commentator said once the monkey sitting on Arsene's back till tomorrow was he never won Jose Mourinho. As for Mr. Wrigley and his bunch of cheats, JM was the main cause they took plank as their trophy for 2 years running, so not surprised either.

It is a fact as stated yesterday on the news, that the Premier League will miss Jose Mourinho, the fans will, the media will and the players as well. Life goes on, we shall get another manager and he shall get another job and as rightly pointed out by great football analyst, JM will be one of the most sought after managers in Europe today.

As for the Manure bunch of cheats, what makes them happy and I don't blame them was before SAF, Manchester United were as good as crap in the league. It is a fact that most of their trophies and winnings have been since he came in to save them. Thats the reason why till tomorrow, they are ever willing to supply him with boxes of chewing gums so he stays and ever ready to keep his son, that papa Giggs, wey no know say him mate they coach teams, while he still dey try manage run for Manure.

Whether Mourinho goes or Mourinho comes, Chelsea will still be there and will still grow stronger. I don't know who gave some people the slightest feeling that if Mourinho goes Chelsea fans will decamp. Did anyone tell fools that supporters were supporting Mourinho or Chelsea Football Club? Did you ever hear Mourinho For Life from a supporter?

Anyways, nuff said about this from my end, you can go on and say what you want, but what Mourinho achieved as a Manager in Chelsea in the last 3 years is worth saying well done and we wish him the best of luck in his future endeavours. For now, we have to sit up and deal with some morons, like we have been doing and make sure their mouth remain as tightly sealed as possible smiley

And between @jackal, get your facts right, in the eyes of the supporter and fan as someone rightly pointed out, JM is far bigger than RA. DO you think one really cares whos the owner of a club or not? Infact you do you know who is the owner of Manchester United or are you interested?
