bigfrancis21: Feexo,

Be aware of false information being peddled around here. The charge for Western Union to send ordinary $1,000 is only $18.50 and not $100. With MoneyGram it is $14 - $16 for money up to $1000.

Which foreign exchange charges $100 on ordinary $100 being sent? Lack of common sense.
Quick Question: Can someone in the US make deposits into a Nigerian Bank Account?

PhonesRe: Nigerians Are Giving Up On Android, Want Their Blackberry Back by DanjaNinja(m): 3:51pm On Aug 16, 2014
Skybancs: considering huge differences in data allocations, Blackberry is cheap where 1k could give you 3G a month which you can use via modem to you pc with little tricks. but like glo they offer 350 MB for 1k a month on andriod.....obviously blackberry seems to be better interms of data allocation. android is so cheap now especially fairly used in nigeria, I bought motorola razor with 12k here in nigeria ( the spec, 16G of internal memory, 16G external memory card, 1G ram, camera 8MG (HD)..... jenyben and many more.... the seller sells because of the data consumption ..... so bb is better
pls where did u buy from?

lastpage: I just wonder why those in "authority" in Nigeria, are always so inclined to institute more poverty on the people?

From FRSC - New Plate Number to New Driver's License!
From NERCD - Regular increase in Electricity Tarrif and Fixed Charge, yet power supply is dwindling on a daily basis!
From the 'Telecoms Regulator" - We still pay the highest amount per minute call, all over Africa!

Now, its one more additional banking charge.... when banks all over the world are doing away with these extortionist fees!

Why are these people so GREEDY AND WICKED TO NIGERIANS......

...and WHY ARE NIGERIANS SO DOCILE, GULLIBLE AND READY TO ACCEPT ANY UNDUE PUNISHMENT METED TO THEM?

And for those of you saying "Sanusi this, Sanusi that", l think you need to examine your heads because Sanusi is part and parcel of these thieving elites! Its like using Kettle to replace Pot ....al na "black"! shocked shocked

****shakes head in disbelief****

Lastpage!
Your post was spot on until your Sanusi Diss. While Sanusi was not a saint, his accomplishments are self-evident. A good example is the removal of the N100 ATM charge during his tenure in office. That said, Please re-examine ur head. grin grin grin

Repteam: This is totally wrong! This shows the complete lack for vision of the administration. The best way to have imposed the cashless policy would have been the way SLS left it. Obviously they have their aim to make us suffer!

This is wrong! Sincerely nothing has made me happy about this administration except when GEJ made a law against gays. that's d only positive thing I see.
How has outlawing Gay rights made Nigeria betterhuh..... huh huh huh...Did it increase electrical power supply in ur area?...Did it fix the bad roads in Nigeria?..Did it make our useless Universities better?...Did it Kill corruption?...Did it make internet services faster and cheaper?....Did it stop Boko - Haram?...Did it increase access to loans?...Typical Nigerian mentality, smh. When it comes to serious national issues: Dead Silence...but when it comes to trivial non issues, they transform into Super Efecttive law makers. Nigeria's motto should be "Champions of irrelevant issues. Absent on National Issues".

I pity this country. smiley smiley smiley smiley

Jobs/VacanciesRe: Why Are Chinese Companies In Nigeria Maltreating Nigerians? by DanjaNinja(m): 10:07pm On Aug 10, 2014
dasparrow: This is what happens when you come from a country like Nigeria where you have leaders who don't give a damn about her citizens. Can the Chinese try this crap in the UK, USA, Canada, Germany, France and the likes? Of course they can't because these countries have labor laws in place that are strictly enforced. Secondly, unlike most Nigerians who 'worship' anyone who is not a member of the black race, people of other races and nationalities respect and hold members of their race and fellow citizens in high esteem. I can't go to USA and maltreat an American and expect that Americans will have my back and support me. Americans will support their own first, they will support their fellow indigenous American citizen over any immigrant, naturalized US citizen, or American-born offspring of a once-upon-a-time immigrant.

The average Nigerian on the other hand will throw his or her fellow Nigerian citizen 'under the bus' while supporting the foreigner instead. Take it from me who was born and has lived outside Nigeria for an extended period of time, it is NOT done that way anywhere. Nigerians are the only set of human beings that I know of that are quick to support foreigners over their own fellow Nigerian citizens both at home and abroad. Other Africans don't do that, Americans don't do that, Europeans don't do that, Asians don't do that. They support their own citizens but the Nigerian? Nope!

So then, why should it come as a surprise that foreigners treat Nigerians like dirt in their own homeland? The Chinese know that Nigerians are sadly not united and have never been. They know that Nigerians hate each other with impunity and will not come together to fight foreign oppressors on our soil. So obviously, the average abusive Chinese employer will continue with his wickedness knowing fully well that he will get away with it or he can easily bribe his way out of the situation.

The day Nigerians begin to truly support one another is the day things will begin to look up for us as a people and as a nation. However, as long as we keep supporting foreigners over our own people, as long as we are quick to have a foreigner's back while throwing fellow Nigerians 'under the bus,' we will continue to suffer as a nation and will never reach our full God-intended potential. When you have a country like Nigeria where many of her citizens are filled with self-hate and are always looking to tear each other down wherever they find themselves - home or abroad, on the world wide web and in-person - how can we expect people from other nationalities to respect us and take us seriously? I mean, think about it.
God bless you for this. You read my mind. Nigerians are a bunch of self-hating, religiously, hypocritical pricks.

I realy wanna improve on it this time, which material will serve me well in this regard. And I will like to know where I can get more simulator for the test apart from the power prep. Thanks.

I found a standalone simulator for the GRE...Turns out its way better than POWERPREP. Holla me if you need a copy.[/s]

This is no longer valid advise. The official GRE materials are the recommend study materials. Nothing even comes close.

For the Verbal, Grubber works pretty well. You can add Princeton Review (i'll be adding it to the mailing list) and Barron's to get a broader perspective. But Grubber works really well.

Unfortunately, PoWERPREP II is the only GRE simulator i know of. I think you can find others via google but i think the exercises in the various books you downloaded contain quality questions that would serve just fine.

shakol91: @ OP I don't know why I'm scared to take this exam. Pls which one is better for an average Accounting edu. student, paper base test or computer base test? (2) I need a way to erase this fear (exam fever) from my mind. (3)I know you've done a great job by taking your time to explain, but please I need your help (I've downloaded the materials on pc) please for God sake,if you have the time,(please and please) you can post a certain material, the chapters/pages you want me or other interested people to study for each week. after reading we can post questions or do group discussion. If you have a better idea or suggestion please feel free to drop
@Shakol91 You don't have to be afraid. The best way to conquer fear is to identify and confront your fears. Fear is an illusion, its simply False Expression Appearing Real. That said, What do fear most about the GRE? Please identity your weak points and draw up a study plan to address each weak point. If you find this difficult, I can help you by creating targeted study plans for the various areas of weakness BUT you must play your role by doing a self appraisal.

I like the group discussion idea but i don't think i have the time to fully commit to make it sustainable. I would try my best to contribute the best way i can. You can start by posting questions on areas of perceived difficulty. I'll do my best to solve them.

Thanks.
