This is an insult to age old traditions If this hardship is too much for you just know you have the power to end your suffering any day any time, hunger is not an excuse to commit abominations. |
There is nothing is new under the sun a wise man once said... When this sit-at-home madness began majority of Igbos enthusiastically supported it and fully supported it's cruel enforcement, this is exactly how many Igbos initially celebrated the cruelty of the Bakassi Boys, and thanks to the support of the people - the Bakassi Boys became powerful and quickly transformed into a terrorist organization, brutally killing people without any fair trial, without any proper evidence simply because their 'juju said so', it took many years before people were willing to admit Bakassi Boys are evil and even then it was a partial admission. The IPOB apologists we have today are also nothing new - Simon Ekpa and the DSS hijacked the movement and turned it evil, is exactly how they defended the Bakassi Boys, it was good but they were hijacked by politicians The two questions we need to ask is How long will it take this time for people to admit that they have replaced one problem with another greater problem? What is it about the South East geography / culture that loves and promotes vigilante style terrorism? |
This is what Verydarkman has started We claim we want a better society yet we don't mind people's right to privacy and dignity being sacrificed for it. |
Sowore want to gather votes maybe even merge with LP. Nnamdi Kanu is a narcissist, he suffers terribly from vanity - he thinks too highly of himself, he changed his name from Nnamdi Kanu to Mazi Nnamdi Kanu (MNK) to plagiarize (MLK) Martin Luther King, he allows people to bow down before him and worship him, he allows an entire region to be shutdown because of him and he never stopped wearing that Fendi. People like that can never be negotiated with, releasing him would never be framed as the kindness of Nigerian justice system, it would be framed as the mighty intelligence of Nnamdi Kanu and proof that Chike Okike Shalom is on his side... People who think releasing Nnamdi Kanu would bring peace are the same sort of morons who thought giving Hitler Czechoslovakia would make him stop his invasions, You never negotiate with Tyrants. This is all Buhari's fault, Buhari should have made him disappear in Kenya no evidence-no explanation but Buhari's strong sense of justice clouded his better judgement. |
So in conclusion it wasn't cultists but IPOB? Why would they be chasing a Hausa man in broad daylight, are there no rich Igbo men to kidnap in Awka (the capital)? And how come everyone just stood by and didn't try to help the Hausa guys? This is a kidnapping live and direct, is it legal as long as the victims are Hausas? The idea that it was cultists would be less mad and less controversial than if it wasn't cultists. |
Computers can never become conscious everyone just loves hyping it up |
Reno seriously misunderstood Tinubu... Tinubu won Nigerian election inspite of the insults he received on Twitter, if elections are won online Peter Obi would have won. Tinubu proved beyond a reasonable doubt that true power does not lie online it lies offline and it doesn't make noise. Reno then thinks that insulting Peter Obi and Obidents ONLINE will make Tinubu like him but the reverse is more likely, it might even make Tinubu despise him for having nothing better to do with his time. Tinubu judges people strictly based on Actions no matter how little (not words no matter how loud) and he never forgot that Reno's staged a protest against him, he hasn't staged a protest against Peter Obi so far. Reno thinks like an Obident. |
He is trying to curtail Asari Dokubians madness, greedy set of people. |
TheTundeMuniru:What is history? Everyone thinks they know their history |
RIP I don't see blood so I would suspect drugs overdose |
TheTundeMuniru:From the cultists point of view the oppressors are the other cults, so they too are fighting oppression |
The state creation aimed at two goals.. 1) To give minority tribes more autonomy, Gowon himself was from a Northern minority tribe. 2) To create a more stable balance of power where one region would not use their authority to dominate the whole country. It was a wise decision politically. |
Lagos state doesn't discriminate If you disturb the state you collect |
Game of thrones |
Only mass looting can end this sit at home rubbish, Government need to look into that. |
"He who fights with monsters might take care lest he thereby become a monster. And if you gaze for long into an abyss, the abyss gazes also into you" - Nietzsche Reno has been fighting the Obidents for so long he might have contracted the Obidents curse. |
UltraSolid:It always starts small, no major movement was ever started by the majority, it is usually started by the intelligentsia and the upper middle class and some military elements, as time goes on the majority will join. This year alone we had two protest, one in Oyo and one in Osun, excluding Igboho in London, we can expect more in the nearby future. If Yorubas do not want to secede and simply want regional autonomy as you claim, then that raises more questions... Why now? and against whom do they want regional autonomy from since the Federal structure is currently controlled by Yorubas. |
gidgiddy:I'm not sure hypocrisy is the right word If they were fighting for secession and changed tune once they have their man in office it might be hypocrisy. It can be many things but not hypocrisy |
GeneralPula:I'm not saying anything just curious and no one seems to say much on the topic |
Other tribes in Nigeria want secession but they want secession because they feel marginalized but with Yorubas it seems to be the complete opposite The President is Yoruba, CBN Governor Yoruba, DSS Leader Yoruba, Chief of Army Staff Yoruba, Commissioner of Police Yoruba In short it is at the precise moment when Yorubas are ruling the country that are fighting for secession Is this a sign of hubris - "We are too good for this country" Or is it a sign of authenticity - "We are not using secession to blackmail the country to meet our demands, we really want to leave" |
The insanity of some people See how one mad man just destroyed someone's life and his for nothing |
The manager should have prevented the man from escaping |
Is shim not part of the problem? Bribing our officials, encouraging corruption in the country |
Time for scapegoating... I'm very tired of SA news, any Nigerian still living there knows what they are looking for and may they find it. |
Let all stop fooling ourselves We all know this is fake. Probably manufactured to gain funding. University of Ilorin was not even top 3, bad scammers. |
This is very common, they always pretend to know the people in the premises, they take your phone and tell you to wait for them, meanwhile they follow another entrance and japa. I don't know why girls keep falling for this. |
Regionalism wasn't even a good thing, Gowon was very wise for abolishing it, unlike Aguiyi he opted for Federalism not Unitary government. |
In summary "Peter Obi is not qualified to run for 2027 because he is not a fanatic and will not imitate the likes of Nnamdi Kanu" I also believe Peter Obi is not qualified for 2027 but it's clear Kenneth is more fanatical and delusional than Peter Obi. He is condemning Peter Obi for entirely wrong reasons |
The truth is, corruption is part of our culture and traditions. The more corruption dies, the more our tradition and culture dies. |
Why the sudden drama from Asari of all people? Does it have something to do with Wike? Modified: This is a very old post |
