Now i'm sure he didn't spend time in poor man's Nigerian prison, he would have been traumatized. |
Fortruth:Are you supporting my points or criticizing them? Russia and Ukraine have the same people and same value system AND THEY STILL WENT TO WAR |
Singapore has just as much religious diversity as Nigeria and it is one of the wealthiest countries in Asia USA and Russia has just as much ethnic diversity as Nigeria and they are the world powers. Rwanda and Congo had similar ethnicity and religion and both countries fought bloody civil wars. Even Russia and Ukraine / Taiwan and China / South Korea and North Korea have more similarities than differences. There is also an ongoing conflict in Sudan I think we need to be more critical. |
Banks are very suspicious, ordinary change of signatory, they will need the signature of all participants. They can't be stupid to loan money without properly verifying the collateral |
Aunty is a scammer, if true she would be sued for copyright infringement and deceitful practice towards buyer and seller. |
Who is a criminal? Different countries have different definitions of a criminal Russia would consider Ukraine supporters criminals and vice versa. If this is true, this policy would completely destroy Telegram. |
This begs the question Why is Asake more popular internationally than Sunny Ade? Most would agree that Sunny Ade represents Yoruba culture better than Asake Perhaps it is the westernization/commodification of Yoruba culture that makes it so popular internationally, maybe they reduced the quality so they could increase the quantity. Movies that truly promote Yoruba culture would never reach a certain level of popularity |
What are the uses of masquerades? In the past they represented the spirit of the dead ancestors but things have fallen apart, masquerades have stayed but the beliefs that surrounded the masquerades has died, no one truly believes in reincarnated ancestors anymore. The people in the masquerades attire themselves might even go to church on Sunday to do Thanksgiving to Jesus, on Monday faithfully abide by the orders of a Finnish national and on Tuesday write to the Canadian Embassy to process their visa. |
Who started the 1967 six day war? Who attacked first? |
It's good this way, not when things go south they looking for a certain Emefiele to heap all the blame upon. |
Some people just enjoy being used as scapegoats and lightning rods. |
The lesson here is that Lagos State Government is not tribalistic but are fair and equal in all they do. But some people will never read it that way. |
Tyrants don't just wake up, they usually start small... A soldier that blatantly refused to obey orders in broad daylight in the presence of other soldiers, even ignoring his own colleagues is not normal. |
He was poisoned... He was too powerful, coups could not work for him, poison was the best bet, it also helped that he was a muslim. |
ItisWell22:Becoming a norm doesn't mean it would become legal... The police would not waste resources investigating the death or robbery of a gay man (which happens a lot), same way they don't care about girls who get killed through hookup, though hookup is normal these days. |
Top is the plug (Verydarkman), bottom is the socket (Bobrisky) |
You don't need to tell women this, every woman knows this instinctively. It sounds like your message is aimed for men. |
You need to check yourself, maybe your giving jolly just come vibes, crooks can sense when your not well connected with your environment. |
Thank you guys for your answers and contributions. |
flokii:I didn't mean all Nigerians are poor and uneducated, I meant that people tend to assume that uneducated poor Nigerians are usually brainwashed by the wealthier elites and become tribalist as a result. |
FourQu:Good point, but some might make the opposite case, that experiencing racism abroad should make them realize that Blacks all look the same to white racists, so this should make them see all blacks as one. |
This seems to be a trend From Adeyinka Grandson to Simon Ekpa to the Igbo woman threatening with poison, to the Yoruba guy insulting the Oba of Benin... Depending on who you ask, you might also include Nnamdi Kanu and Reno Omokri on the list. These are people that left Nigeria, they are usually disconnected from the social life of the average Nigerian, they live in a better country, they have access to good education and infrastructure... Yet in a bizarre twist they seem to even become more toxic and promote more poison than even the poor uneducated Nigerians living in the country. Could there be psychological forces at play? maybe loneliness? |
Thank God Labour party is weak and useless this time around, they can't be used to split PDP vote like during the election. |
Damian911:Some people are not capable of understanding sarcasm |
wow good to hearWhenever I hear Igbos complaining their language is dying due to westernization, I'll be sure to remind them that English is simply borrowed Igbo so Igbo language is actually one of the most popular language worldwide. |
This is good news, may we hear something similar about Simon Ekpa one day. |
I was hoping they would tell us the name of the Nigerian boyfriend |
Can a Yoruba man from Oyo state go to Osun state to run for elections without discrimination? https://www.google.com/amp/s/punchng.com/oau-vc-ife-indigenes-resume-protest/%3famp Ps: Italians and Irish were heavily discriminated against in America (they weren't even considered white) Today Mexicans (who are descendants of Spanish and Native Americans) are heavily regulated from migrating into USA |
I hope this not a reaction to the real Lagos state indigenes claims |
How polite they are is a problem... They should be more detailed in explaining the reason of the ban or deletion of topics. |
What did you do? Or what did you not do? |
This one is mental problem, real ritualist don't make noise like this |
