ccrenda5540:I know he was terribly defeated when he tried to invade Onitsha, he had advantage in weapons, advantage in numbers, more food and supply and yet 90% of his troops were killed, only incompetent leadership could achieve that. His expertise was in plotting coups and shooting defenceless civilians, he was cunning but was never intelligent (if he was intelligent he might still be alive) |

For one temple to be built another must be destroyed, you cannot serve two masters Either the Sultan has the power or the Governor has the power, choose your poison. If the Sultan is an Islamic Leader then let him be officially an Islamic Leader of Nigeria and abandon the Sokoto. This was most likely a blackmail from MURIC. |
ShinnBet:Why go through the trouble of killing Northern leaders just to place Northerners in every strategic key position in the country... He was already Major General and on more than one occasion he disobeyed Nnamdi Azikiwe in favour of Tafewa Balewa... Doesn't sound like a typical Northern hater to me. |
ShinnBet: GeneralPula:See how both of you are contradicting yourselves One claimed Aguiyi Ironsi appointed David Ejoor as Midwest commander due to nepotism The other pointed out that David Ejoor was not Igbo so it couldn't be nepotism then claimed David Ejoor was never appointed as Midwest Governor Can't even get your lies straight |
GeneralPula:David Ejoor was not Igbo, and according to the guy I mentioned, Aguiyi Ironsi wanted to kill David Ejoor, why empower a man you wish to kill? |
Whatsapp forwarded message is solid proof Hilarious A politician is a politician they can only work with the resources they have, if PDP governor had the power to make people's lives better he would have done so because it would profit him... Alex Otti does not have the power to fix Abia state beyond what PDP could have done.
|
Christistruth00:I haven't seen or heard any proof of the alleged interview until today - can you produce another site? Why on earth will Aguiyi Ironsi make David Ejoor commander of Mid-west region? Why would he make Murtala Mohammed Chief of Signals of the armed forces? Why will he make Gowon Chief of Army Staff? Why will he make TY Danjuma his personal scribe and the head of his personal guard? Why will he station the 4th Battalion (a northern dominated army close to Lagos)... For a tribalist who wants to kill and dominate everybody he seemed to be making the reverse steps. |
Christistruth00:This your version is high speculation with not a single evidence and a very pathetic attempt to justify atrocities... The funny thing is the man who led the coup was Nzeogwu Chukwuma, when he died he was buried in Kaduna with military honours by Northern soldiers and his burial was fully supported by Murtala Mohammed... this is a historical fact... The very people claiming to fight for revenge actually honoured the man who started the whole thing. |
Cesarr1:That is prison, guys in prison are sex starved, isolated and have no options, that doesn't mean they are gay - it's just prison... Rich gay guys dey but they won't pay you for sex. |
I wonder why people always have the false impression that wickedness is the easy way out, that inhumanity can make someone successful, in reality wickedness is hard work, if you are a lazy person who loves a good night rest don't try to be evil... You will have to stay awake all night, watchful for the day when those you offended would come back for revenge (and they will come back)... Israel's wickedness and inhumanity has placed it in a terrible situation where they are now surrounded by enemies, lost international sympathy and have to rely on white antisemitic leaders the very people that chased them out of Europe for protection. And now they would have to keep fighting and fighting until they either get exhausted or the Antisemitic leaders finally decide to pull the plug. |
No guy will pay you to open your nyash for him, most guys can't even pay a girl for sex let alone paying a guy... It's either it was a kito trap or you are lying. |
There are more Igbos living in Lagos than Yorubas in the east There are more Igbos living in the Kano than Northerners in the East In a stable country this should not be so, one tribe should not have to depend upon another tribe for their survival, it tips the scale of power in favour of those they depend on... That's why Oba of Lagos will threaten to throw Igbos to the lagoon if they don't vote for Ambode (even though Ambode was running against Jimi who is not Igbo) and nothing will happen... Why the Northerners would pass all sorts of segregation policies disguised as religious laws... Power does not seat on the throne, power is more complex than who has this title and who has that. You can be the president and be powerless like Nnamdi Azikiwe You can be the major general and be powerless like Aguiyi Ironsi. You can be a mere regional governor like Ahmadu Bello and be running the entire country. You need to rethink marginalization. |
Zxcvbnmghtr:In your perspective did the Christians launch a counter coup killing thousands of Muslim men, women and children majority of whom did not participate in the killing and some even stopped the coup? |
Have you read this book Les Miserables? The main antagonist is a police officer whose name is Javert Javert was born in a jail cell, yet he does not steal, he does not lie, he always fights crime no matter the danger, he always respect authorities, he is not corrupt, he accept no bribes... and yet he is the main antagonist precisely because of these qualities. When a prostitute was caught attacking a taxpayer, Javert immediately arrests her and tries to lock her up for 6 months (according to the law), it turns out this woman only engaged in prostitution to take care of her only daughter - if she is locked up nobody can take care of her daughter for six months... Javert being a 'good police officer' strictly abides by the law and turns deaf to her pleading. The point of my rambling is... Some Nigerians always complain that the law enforcement agencies are corrupt but the question is, if they were not corrupt, if they truly abided by the laws and customs of the country, would you be safe? I know some drivers who drive without license, some carry more loads than they are meant to, some cut corners and follow one way, if the police start being 'good' would these drivers be safe? |
Is that not oven I'm seeing there? Some apartments are dirty naturally by the construction and setting, some are dirty artificially by the tenant's bad habits, this poster should learn how to tell the difference. |
Abi, let thugs take over the road... People take things for granted too much |
Our Nigerian prince has done well |

Jennyclay:Aunty if you want money so desperately put aside your pride and BEG, I will listen to you and kindly tell you say "I no get". |

To be fair he wasn't targeting the police officer, he was targeting the far right activist in other words a racist his only fault was attacking an officer who was just doing his job. This doesn't look like Muslims being bad to me, the racist deserved it. |
Britain doesn't like trouble especially trouble that doesn't profit them... Britain tried to negotiate peace treaty with Hitler just to avoid trouble... Britain will not give themselves headache over a dual citizen, not just any dual citizen but one who is head of a movement that had repeatedly cursed the British people. |
zombieHUNTER:Nigeria is not a dictatorship it is a republic in a republic power is shared into units. The authority in Abia states lies with Otti yet to appease the mob he supported nonsense. |
obiekunie01:Because if they sent northern soldiers you will claim tribalism, so they sent mainly Igbo soldiers and one from that state of origin to deter any foreign invaders claims... IPOB walked right into that trap. |
Proudman1:As a chess player I agree chess is overhyped but so is football, heck football is a 1000 times more overhyped than chess. Ludo is a game of chance it all depends on how the dice lands...Chess relies much less on luck (although there's luck involved, it usually comes from the mistakes of your opponent rather than pure chance) Draft is too boring compared to chess... in chess each piece has a unique ability, A pawn can move one step at a time, a bishop can only move diagonally, a knight moves in an L shape, a Queen can move in all directions etc. This makes the game more interesting, more stimulating and more imaginative... (you can imagine yourself as a pawn in a bigger game of chess in life maybe your boss is the king) I don't believe chess is a sign of intelligence, even Kasparov himself claimed Poker is a better sign of political intelligence than chess. Kasparov was a legendary Russian chess player who tried to run in an election against Vladimir Putin, he had to flee from the country, his chess skills didn't make him a better politician because he played the wrong game, he played chess when he should have played poker. But still, chess is an interesting game and to be a master in anything even a game is usually a sign of high intelligence and hours of practice, a good doctor will be a terrible lawyer but that doesn't contradict his intelligence. |
They should be thanking Nigerians big time, we are doing them a big favour our Nigerian princes are making them sharper, more suspicious and more cunning. Update cast but update don't finish because update is always up to date. |
Mindlog:Your example confirms the very thing I'm talking about, instead of simply collecting taxes and building the schools you guys all contributed money (which is almost the same thing) but the difference is that most of you won't live in that community forever, many of you will migrate, so when the school needs money to upgrade and maintain the school, hire more qualified staffs etc. There won't be anybody available to pay for it because you never had a stable tax system. You would have to rely on another mass donation. |
igwebuike01:The only time where Igbos worked together was during the Biafran war and that was only because you were forced into a tight corner with no choice... In Anambra alone there are Onitsha Igbos, Nnewi Igbos etc, each group fighting for their own communal interest, discriminating against other communities at the expense of the greater tribe, even the language is a mess with infinite dialects... And this sounds like a good thing to you. Note: Democracy is mob rule, Nigeria and USA are Republics not Democracies. |
igwebuike01:Study the history of Rome, study the history of France, Germany and Britain It was usually the most undemocratic leaders who acted in the best interest of the people and elevated their societies to a height of respect. Politicians are the Kings of today so it makes sense the Kings of yesterday need to give up their power. |
igwebuike01:Everything Igbos, pure narcissism Igbos never had kings it was the British that installed them for you, because they knew without kings you can't make the simplest decisions even in your best interest... Till this very day Igbos can't coordinate together in the Yorubas and Northerners can, you always confuse mob unity with coordination. |
Ganduje was trying to weaken his political rivals Yusuf is trying to weaken his own political rivals who are friends of Ganduje It's all about politics and control, but sometimes good can come from evil |
