Nation Wide Strike for Npower Volunteers over the silence/delay of Oct/Nov stipends.*

It is extremely inhuman and act of wickedness for the said Ministry now in charge of Npwer to treat 500,000 Nigerian Npower graduates like a kid. The question I ask myself is that “REMOVING NPOWER FROM THE OFFICE OF THE VICE PRESIDENT, IS IT A WRONG MOVE??” believe it or not, when the office of the Vice President was in charge of Npower , even before getting up to this, they would have released official statement telling volunteers the reason for the delay payment and afterwards , apologize. That is the office that respect the graduates and as such treat us as one.

For me, even the support group are kept in the dark and that is the reason up till now, no one has been able to give us concrete reason for the delay of the stipends. With due respect to the Honourable Minister whom I believe is a mother to all especially being a woman, I don’t expect this kind of ill treatment from her to the volunteers. I expect before now, she would have officially informed beneficiaries the real reason for the delay through her social media page, but instead, she kept mute and decided not to reply to any question posed to her by Npower volunteers through her social media page. This is wrong and unacceptable because they aren’t doing us a favour, it is our right and we deserve to be paid work done.

- We therefore call on the Hon. Minister to come out and tell us what is actually happening. If the program will continue or they are planning to scrap it, we deserve to know the reality on ground.

- When exactly are they going to pay us??

- Any other update aside from the one from the Hon minister is not acceptable and will never be taken as reliable information.

- Volunteers can no longer cope having to transport themselves to their place of primary assignment.

WE CHARGED ALL VOLUNTEERS STARTING FROM MONDAY 2ND DECEMBER TO STAY AT HOME. THIS IS THE ERA OF "NO PAY, NO WORK"

Baba Buhari has gotten his second term in office, as such, N-POWER terminated... Go look for job or biz to do, before they call you lazy youths...

A driver whose vehicle breaks down is supposed to work on it and continue the journey if he starts looking for another vehicle for you guys....that's a bad omen

Finally, if your vehicle breaks down while travelling....be wary of vehicles that come to rescue you.....

For a long time, this how some wicked commercial interstate drivers in government parks facilitate the kidnap of their passengers....by deliberately stranding them in the middle of nowhere but the passengers usually don't know

What about if I entered FairPlus or GUO motors and it develope problem and the driver decide to call for another should I also be wary ?

My school results has been released, and right now i feel so miserable...

I was admitted late last year into this school and because of that i missed a lot, upon my resumption i discovered i had missed 6 of my course tests out of 11 courses in my first semester and in less than two week after my resumption exams started coupled with the registration it wasn't easy, anyway i wrote my exams and everything was fine...

My school results never showed up until after our second semester break...

Although i know i didn't do well in my first semester so i tried to patch it up with second one but it was unfruitful, i had a rethink and remembered i was been carried away by my side hustle back (since i wasn't financially stable) in my second semester and also didn't read much I've always had this habit of procrastinating whenever it comes to me reading my books and discovered its not helping...

So i ended up having 1.82.
My immediate elder sister came out first class 4.79 just last year, I feel i'm a failure i don't want my uncle and my mom to feel like they are wasting their little hard earned cash on me.

Please i need your respective advice am ready to change.

You can decides to hide the department but not the school and course, because in this your case the school and course really matters , because


In some school , the CGPA calculation in 100L is 10% or less depending on the duration of the course, , of which if you happen to be in such school, u can still make a second class upper, because the CGPA in 100% doesn't matters, While in some school, it's 20% all through in the CGPA calculations.

Even at that , if u wake up, stop those side hurstle and be serious with yourself , u can make a 2-1 , PROCRASTINATION has been main issue killing most students in school apart from those who read and easily forget...If u want to succeed in the university , u must deny your flesh...

Some weeks back, a guy saw my wares online and came around to pick some footwears since we are in same city. He kept on talking on phone with a particular girl (my girl) about the type of shoe she likes. Remember I just gave her a new pair when she requested for one. Not even up to a month.

So this guy selected 3 pairs of shoes - two males shoes and one female own. He just told me to packet them that he would call me when money comes in. Fast-forward to today, he called in the afternoon and gave me a location to bring the shoe that he went out with his girl and will be traveling in the morning.

I dressed up, picked up the shoes at the shop and dashed to the location only to meet him with my girlfriend.

I just pretended like nothing happened, passed the shoes to him. She was shocked to the marrow but the guy never noticed. He asked her to wear the shoe so as to see how it suits but she just told him that he shouldn't bother that it's OK.

He paid me and as I was about leaving, he called me back and introduced me to his girl. I told her my name like we just met and left.

That's just it. I'm out for good. I'm free

Mistake...

I went to a birthday party of one of my close friends, I had three friends and we are like clique.
During the party I got drunk and the guy that took us to the party in his car took advantage of my drunken state and had sex with me and make it look like it is consensual. During the act I know what was happening but was too weak and blurred. I didn't know there was a video recording of the act. When I woke up the guy was no where to be found so I kept it to myself.

When my guy found out that I cheated on him, he was furious. I denied it initially but when he showed me the sex clip I admitted it but defended myself on the ground that it was rape and not consensual. I summon courage and asked him how did he come up with the sex tape but that he would not answer to. He left that moment and I start feeling that he knows something about the tape and wants to blackmail.

He showed up one day at my hostel and threaten to leak the tape online. I begged him profusely not to do that but he said my plea and tears are waste of time. That he will let everyone know the kind of loose lady I am for betraying and cheating on him. That I will regret the day I met him. That I doesn't deserve his love.

He is yet to release the clip but may actually do that with what is happening to the Babcock ex student.

What should I do to stop him before he destroys me.

The only thing you can be afraid of is the Babcock treatment, as such, GO TO THE DEAN OF STUDENTS TO REGISTER YOUR COMPLAIN , of some students druging u during a birthday party and has been using it to collect money from u, that you are tired and have to open up to him , if u have one in your school, see the counselor, let her lead u to the dean of students, this is the best for you now since you don't have money to get a lawyer....please be fast in doing this , because once he release it , u cant do this again... If u can see this today pls go tomorrow, no amount of begging will save u , that guy is bent on releasing that video..

I totally disagree with this.

I am not disagreeing as a feminist. I am disagreeing as a sane woman.

In as much as a lot of women folks are guilty of the caption charged against them, i think the male folks should also be blamed as an encouraging factor to this.

Gentleman, apart from calling her to come over to your place for the weekend, have her wash your clothes, keep your house clean and have massive sex. Have you tried to engage her in an intellectual/an intelligent discourse?

Apart from drilling that hole, have you tried to drill and extract her God given potentials from her?

Have you tried to discuss your dreams and aspirations with her and see how she fits in by suggesting ideas that would contribute positively to your dreams?

Apart from taking her to the club and have countless sit outs, have you ever taken her for seminars and workshops?

These are questions a lot of male folks are guilty of.

It takes two to tangle. Until you give her room to show you her potentials, you will never see her showcasing it.

THIRD FORCE cannot solve the problem, those names u mentioned and others are part of the problems, if only u know the back politics behind what they are doing...I am still thinking on how we can strengthen our institutions and put our laws into use so that people will work , and Nigeria will move forward...No govt institution in Nigeria is currently working, if only INEC boss can tell u what he is going through due to pressure from the govt... But if there are severe penalthy for many things , people will rather prefer to resign than to abuse their offices and institutions...I would have prefer a death sentence for corruption to social media bill, but that's to tell u what the ruling class thinks and are planning against the masses who may want to rise against the govt because I have gone through the bill and HATE WAS NOT REALLY DEFINE... Nigeria's problems is too complicated..
