Everything in life has advantages and disadvantages but if you mention of polygamy the disadvantages in it surpasses the advantages. I was born into polygamy, my mother was third wife to my father and was the one to begat him three sons, this sparked hatred in the extended family that even the family members of my step-mothers became jealous of my mother till date, and they pass it to my step-brothers and step-sisters to inherit against us.

Governor Aminu Waziru Tambuwal the Executive Governor of Sokoto State, former Speaker to House of Representatives in Nigeria, and 2019 election PDP presidential candidate has through his special adviser on media and publicity directed the release of relief materials to families victims of Gangara community killings by notorious Fulani bandits in the region on Wednesday, 1st of this month April. But to his dismay the community leaders in anger rejected the money he granted to the youths of the community and murmurs when he mentions that they should not be on guard to protect themselves. He said: "Karku ɗauki doka a hannunku" meaning that they should not take law into their hands.

The governor in his condolence visit also condoles the community members to take heart that the government is doing its best possible to checkmate insecurity in the Sokoto east region. He also urged the people of the community and other communities in the State to avail themselves of the knowledge available about the Coronavirus (COVID-19), which he said is a global pandemic right now.

The incident happened to my relatives in Gangara so I have first hand information of what is going on, you can google it the news is all over facebook and top media houses

The people of Gangara Town in Sabon Birnin Gobir, Sokoto State are struggling to survive the state of Coronavirus, all of a sudden struck another virus in human form- Fulani bandits who have committed what is more deadly than the COVID-19 to them as the attack have confirmed twenty-two (22) people killed and many are in hospitals as result of shootings, properties burnt, livestocks stolen, the whole town is totally in smoke. Two mobile policemen were reported to have been kidnapped by the bandits and a soldier was shot. As of now family members are in search of their missing relatives in nearby bushes.

The advice of Sultan should be act upon because the happenings in Northern Nigeria today is history repeating itself but this time in multitude.

To a lay historian and critical thinker, what Danfodio can be best called is a warrior not "Islamic reformer" or "Jihadist" as its often claimed, because he didnt fight for Islam but he used the faith of Hausas in Islam.

The nigereriens who mostly speak Hausa and generally Muslims migrate to the south in troops, doing menial jobs over there,selling sugar cane, doing shoe maker, begging, selling suya and cutting nails and other common jobs whit little pay. they don't care because their currency is very poor once they go back to Niger the money become something else.
The southerners see all of them as Hausas from northern Nigeria because most of them speak Hausa and are generally Muslims and they find it difficult to deferenciate,most southerners don't even know that mejority of those Abokis they see in the west are foreigners, we also have many of them hustling here in northern Nigeria.

An average northner from Nigeria don't Travel to the east...except those in Army, Police, Navy, those doing lucrative business and those exporting agricultural products to the south.Mejority of those Abokis ain't from Nigeria ask them, many of them will tell you the truth

2.Insurgency : the southerners believe that all the Northern states has been ravaged by insurgency,once you mention north,they will shout Bokoharam many of them believe that northern Nigeria is a conquered Bokoharam territory.
But in reality, the only state affected in northern state is borno, zamfara, yobe and Adamawa. Adamawa and yobe is almost free not critical like maiduguri... Kano, Gombe, kebbi, jigawa and bauchi is more peaceful and safer than most of the southern state

Poverty: The southerners believe that Northerners are extremely poor that majority of the Northerners are poor.
In reality they judge this base on those Niger migrants they see in the south doing anything just to make as low as #500 per day
An average Hausafulani is not that poor as they want you to believe,our people engage in business,agriculture they are are everywhere in government... We have igbos here in the north hustling along side our people

I have been to the 4 out of 5 state in East And I will tell you that the east is in no way better than the north both on economical and infrastructural development

Illiteracy: they believe that majority of us are illiterate which is partially true... There's mass illiteracy in the north...but the upcoming Generations of Northern Nigeria will shock the world... Lastly... An average northner don't care about one Nigeria, the only people interested in one Nigeria are politicians who are benefiting from the system... Even if Nigeria divide today! We have oil at Gongola commercial quantity and we still have untapped oil from lake basin, we have land for agriculture and industrialization

The misconception and stereotype on the north need to stop... We are not asking you to love us but please stop spreading lies and propaganda against north...

Let me start with you misconception on Niger people by saying they tarnished your image. How and why? Remember before the coming colonial masters Niger and Northern Nigeria have shared ancestral bonds not only among the Hausas you're speaking of, but to the Kanuris, Zarmas and the Fulanis alike. Niger Hausas that I know don't speak bad of you their Nigerian brothers and are law abiders wherever they find themselves, unlike their counterpart who are fond of backbitting and doing the opposite. And trully you can hardly find them engage in social menace as foreigners they are. Then how do they tarnish your image?

What research have you made to come up with this writeup of yours? Menial jobs that you make mention of, selling sugar cane, begging, selling suya and firewood breakers are jobs done mostly by Northern Nigerians; Sokoto, Jigawa, Zamfara, Kano... Our youths are not married until they do the "white" marriage. What Nonsense, even after fulfilling all our traditional rites. Indeed, we are ordinary clay in the hand of the whites (Our "sculptors". They use us anyhow they want and dump us in the trash can when they think we are no more useful to them.

If I may remind you, These same white people we are worshiping, came firstly as traders, as our business partners and we traded by means of trade by barter. They gave us peanuts and packed our resources down to their own country to establish themselves. When they noticed that we are not getting more stupid, we no more allow them use our brains in the trade by barter system they introduced to us. we agitated over the small thing they give us in exchange of much things they take from us, so they went back to their country and returned, this time, no more as our business partners but as slave traders. They captured the strong among us and transport them to their countries to become their slaves. They even encouraged our fathers to sell the stubborn ones to them as slaves, which because of ordinary peanuts, they agreed to sell out their great minds. At the point where they knew we are becoming more intelligent, we no more buy the stories of their slave trading, in order to still remain relevant to us, the same traders, slave masters, turned and became the missionaries!
I don't blame the whites for using us this much. But I blame us for having allowed ourselves for having acknowledged that we are being used this much
