NamelessOGBENI:Na so bro. |
CodeTemplar:Oga carry your Wahala go. Tell her not to cry but just buy the next available ticket going to Nigeria, and come back. It is not rocket science. |
She should please come back to Nigeria. I am tired of this mentality of always complaining about bills as if those in Nigeria use plantain leaves to sort out their own problems. |
OpLike someone said earlier, football match doesn't start from 2:0 among the teams/clubs |
Anfieldboss: ![]() Pele. Hope you got one you are holding for the meantime? |
taiwogabriel:Yeah. Aptly captured by the bolded. |
Anfieldboss:Yeah boss. It has always been that way for most schools. The good ones among them will specifically tell you on their portal not to contact them. Just allow them to do their things till the end. |
For those with multiple funding offer, please try and reject the ones you don't need appropriately (notifying the graduate admission ) to enable others on waiting list to be offered. Late reject simply means that offer is lost permanently. NB: My own little suggestion |
Any University of New Haven admit? Can you confirm if the university gave you funding/graduate Assistantship? CC Tohlou Motiqueen Thesuperladyy |
The weeping General It is unfortunate what he passed through |
Obavoh:Please take your wife to hospital. We are talking about 2 people (wife, and unborn baby). Worst case scenario, borrow money (to be repaid once your salary drops ) or deposit valuable something at the hospital (to be collected once you pay your debt). Life no get duplicate, and it is not worth you should play ping pong by coming online to seek medical opinion from total strangers. Also, try and do family planning. it will go a long way for you and your wife. |
Gokoyer0:As in, I was even shocked to see that March 15th has passed, and still nothing. From the look of things, it might be end of this month that most universities will push out decisions (probably from next week Monday for some universities). It is well. Just chilling and waiting patiently. |
Anfieldboss:Okay bro. Just be hopeful. As for mine, absolutely no news so far. STEM courses and admissions are definitely on another level all together. |
Anfieldboss:Did the funding and school clicked bro? |
Esoresor:Is he truly a Reverend Father ? ![]() What most people don't understand is that OP doesn't want to be a celibate. If he wanted such, he could have simply become a Roman catholic priest or Chinese monk. Sex is the 4th basic need of man. Wahalie, if you happen to be a Nigerian, it becomes even more important than food itself. ![]() Broda man hold that Ugandan wella, and may more fall upon you (more open doors to you as you explore) CC Thamesbridge |
chibertha:Hello madam, If you don't mind can you chip in 'step by step process' your friends in academics (Masters or PhD ) used in securing green card before they finished schooling. (With published works or without publication) NB: Just for knowledge purpose as someone has dropped the route for work (company filing for the person ) somewhere in this thread. |
md16:(*chipping in) Yeah. Just put that exact name on Google to see it. We also have others like Wes GPA etc |
Sisib15:Okay. It is all good. |
And the funny thing about my regret message on this application, that graduate coordinator is very mean. Of all the day to sent such, he decided to send it on February 14th being an important day all over the world. it shows she/he has no single joy at all😂😂😁 |
Sisib15:Thanks for the concern, and sorry for yours. But at least you have gotten one with funding right? I think I came across your comment on it. |
Gokoyer0:To be honest, any school still considering you for app fee waiver is not helping you. Most schools are already in top gear in awarding admission and funding to students and once the slot closes, you can't do anything about it. |
Dreamsss:WES ? Ahha, no go there o. That their verification and second confirmation verification na long thing. It is a long story for me. |
Zihno:Anxiety is a terrible thing. As for me I tried to keep my mind off it. It was this school that I was checking out once in a while on their portal. For others, I can't even remember that I applied to them. Just allowing them to do their thing |
Dreamsss:Nothing is there joor. 😂😂 I don't want those two words to be attached when I am being addressed on this forum. A quote is more than enough🙏 |
Zihno:Na wah Boss, I no be ma 😂😂. Did you forget about our correspondence on University of Florida? I was the one who offered help before you told me you are no longer putting in application. This is a Forum, and I would like to be quoted without all those civilities (Sir/MA etc ). it is what is obtainable in other foreign forums. |
Zihno:Yeah, but I no be Sir O 😂 You can reply me without that word. |
Zihno:Yeah, PhD program. Just allow them to do their thing. Hopefully, March is when they will start dropping those admitted in order to meet up with the government April 15th deadline for acceptance or rejection by those offered. Sure, one hopefully will click. |
Dreamsss:Thanks for the wishes. The reason we spread our option in school application is also the singular reason why all eggs are not put in a single basket😅🤣 Utah is pending for me. After paying app fee, they started demanding official transcript. ASSU Wahala and unnecessary school closure made it impossible for me to be able to apply and deliver official transcript to them before deadline (February 28). 2 schools, still have not paid their app fee up till now cause I don't have it. It is well. Just one Full admit to drop like Michael Jordan 3 point in basketball game is all that matters. |
Zihno:Earth and Environmental Science. |
Soft Reminder February 28/March 1 is the last application date for remaining universities for those interested in Funding. Other passed date include December 1st, December 15th, January 1st and January 15th (I think they are the major ones). So push through those your application if you are still considering Fall, 2023. 1 love letter (Regret message/mail) just dropped for me ( Tulane University). Checked profile and saw it there. |
Zihno:Their minimum is 2.0. Moreover, the course aimed for is not a strong STEM course. Lastly, all the schools I mentioned in both States has February 28/March 1 for priority deadline, and application fee for schools in State of Florida is affordable (around 30- 50 dollars per school). NB: My assumption is based on fact he is paying out of pocket but not focused on Funding. Also, he can check out Wayne State University, but their fee is brutal (around 50k dollars). CC Vester48 |
Vester48:Try and drop more information on this. STEM or Non-STEM course? Modified*** Check schools in State of Florida (university of Florida, Florida state university etc) and probably schools in State of Colorado. |
