My friend tells me what I don't need to hear.
We share stuff together, as in no matter how small. I remember one time back in boarding school, we have what we call "starvation week", 2 weeks after exams when everyone's is broke and the only stuff you're likely to have is soap and toothpaste.
Me and my friend rummage thru our clothes and find N20.We head off to the snack shop- we can only buy 2 cokes and nothing else, but my friend comes up with an extra N5 and buys himself a loaf. Off we go to a table, and he splits the bread right down the middle and hands me a share. And we go on chatting like it's just natural for us to split whatever we get.
We get into trouble together and, by God, face the music together! I just talk to him, don't have to rehearse, tell him what he's done or what he's doing or about to do. Same way he lets me know when I've messed up.

Tell me how long 29 year olds are going to play first team football, will they justify the money wasted on them? I think not. Abramovich is paying a huge price for success, instant success. This is not a long-term investment, it's for the here and now. How full is Stamford Bridge at full capacity? How many fans watched them win the league this season? Less than 50,000. Why? He is already trying to recoup, tickets are expensive and will keep being too. One thing's for sure: Roman's billions won't guarantee the champions league. Champions league football is all about HEART- Relive Liverpool's comeback last season. Mourinho's marauders are mercenaries, men like that don't give you 101%.Chelski has bought instant SUCCESS, Mourinho just managed it.

Well I did the test also, but my Zone was in Abuja. The site tells me to check back for another list on the 12th of June.
I expect that the bulk of those getting letters now are from SW, NW and NE zone. But most of the workers there tell me medical is just a formality and I'm being "congratulated" already for getting the job.

I don't think increasing the tariff is going to do much good. Before you can make any increase, the commodity you're supplying has to be available first. You're suggesting PHCN do it backwards. The thing is NEPA/PHCN is staffed with incompetent bumbling people. Then they are corrupt;and I don't mean upper echelon, it starts from the bottom rungs!

You owe a "crazy" bill (As much as 10,000 a month for a residence, ). The dudes handing out the bills tell you they can fix it, for a token of say 3000. You pay them, they go to the computer room and your next bill reads 1500!

Each year, PHCN tells you they are generating 2500megawatts or 3000megawatts- all this is balderdash! Even if they can only generate 100megawatts, let them distribute that first for all to see. Their infrastructure needs a total overhaul- poles, transformers, cables etc.

The good news is that there is going to be mass retrenchment at PHCN very soon! I hate to sound so joyous about this, but desperate situations require desperate solutions. The staff is a big minus at PHCN and someone has noticed.
P.S- Today makes it one week since I last had power in my house, just because it rained and 3 rotten poles fell. One week to erect 3 poles? In the 21st century?

Though am no Samsung fan, it turns out that this was a really good buy! The Mp3 quality is second to none,and with the external loudspeaker, we can actually have a bash I needed no MM card as well, cos it comes with 96mb inbuilt memory. Only snag is the video, it's 3gp. While this is good for space consideration, the quality sucks!

But what is so wrong with Okotie running for the presidency? Which of our leaders ever followed an established route to office? How many presidents ever became governors,senators and the like before running for the presidency?
That a good number of them are ex-military is not even a good yardstick for measurement of their qualification because most of them are "Polimilitary", holding one political office or the other, looting coffers and retiring on ranks that ordinarily they would only dream of.

What does good governance entail? What does it take to be a good leader? What do people mean by Nigeria is a complex country that is hard to rule hence it needs "special' or particular type of leaders? What type of leaders? People like OBJ who is too cowardly to announce he wants to have another "Go"? People who amend and append the bloody constitution at their every whim? People who wheedle,cajole,bribe,threaten and kill their way into power?

Whom amongst us on this forum cannot hold or vie for a post of responsibility? The trouble with us is just complacency and satisfaction with the status quo. No one wants to upset the apple cart, so we'd rather stick with the usual suspects.

I voted Okotie the last time because I was bold enough to say I wanted CHANGE! I will vote him again and again and again. I sleep better knowing that even if I couldn't vote him in, I did try to vote the current man out! And my vote is no waste.

This post smacks of controversy, why is it directed at christians? Is it only christians that believe in a "Heaven"? Don't other religions have some form of afterlife or paradise as well ? This won't end, its like the age old argument between scientists and Christians about the origin of life and the story of creation.

The answer is even staring you right in the face if you can READ and UNDERSTAND. It is directed at Christians- not Pagans,Muslims, Atheists,Scientologists and Ifa followers!

Christians, Can non-christians go to heaven? NO. End of bloody argument. You can't be good by your own standards;there is nothing like 'doing good' and qualifying for heaven (at least not in Christianity!).

Someone should ask Muslims if non-muslims can go to Paradise or ask Scientologists if non-scientologists can make it to where their equivalent of paradise is.

@nike,glad to be of help. To help you connect to other phones via bluetooth, check that your phone is visible under bluetooth options. If it's not, enable it. Once another phone can identify yours, you can exchange files. More luck.

Well I don't know about USB, but if you installed the software correctly, u are probably missing something minute. Check if there is an options or Tools panel and check that your connection settings are adequate there i.e. u may have to specify USB cable etc as your serial port.
I use bluetooth for my D500 and it's just smoooooth goin all the way! Let me know if you have any success then.

Honesty pays, (literally speaking now ). A customer picked up a Nokia 6230 in the internet cafe where I work. Turns out it belongs to one of our better customers.
