What are their names, ranks and date of commission?
Personally I know of AIG Peace Ibekwe Abadallah, an Igbo lioness married to a Northern chairman.

She was promoted about 2 years ago to that rank, having followed the proper ladder.

He's basically saying the Gabonese constitution says the president must step down if he is infirm and cannot perform his duties. And seeing that Bongo has suffered a stroke and has been away in Morocco for months convalescing, that provision in the constitution has been met. He also says nobody who watched Bongo's New Year speech would say the man is recovering and well enough to return to office.
He then claims the Gabonese military is the guarantor of the Constitution, which is why they've taken this step on behalf of the country.

I suspect they'll get away with it because the regional body is so weak. All depends on whether the real power in that region, France, decides Bongo's time is up. It's instructive for example, that he didn't slink away to France for medical treatment. And what's up with these arseholes who bolt overseas for medical treatment?
Here in Southern Africa, they all run to SA. The Zambian pres actually died here. The Malawian died at home, they kept it quiet and actually flew his body to SA, claiming he was alive. It was the SA government who forced them to stop lying to their people and announce his death.
Too many African leaders have died in Percy recently

The number of cycles does not matter. An aircraft can takeoff and land as many times a day as time permits. All it will cause is more wear to certain components but if serviced and changed as and when due is perfectly okay. An aircraft in the ground is capital tied down. They are far too expensive to own and maintain to keep idle in the airports.
Tell them o........so far the air frame is within LOV (Limit Of Validity) for cycles and hours and well maintained,

24 hour (realistically 19 hours with ground time etc) flying with an aircraft is usual

The 'official secrets act' is that in the Nigerian Constitution?

According to Vanguard Newspapers:

Enacted on September 1962, the Official Secret Act provides for the protection of official information.

The act specifically provides for the protection of sensitive official information, among others.

The act provides that any person charged with an offence under the foregoing subsection shall, unless the contrary is proved, be deemed to have acted for a purpose prejudicial to the security of Nigeria.
Yes. Any well read civil servant will tell you this exists.

CareerRe: Just In: NNPC Staff Protest Unpaid Salaries by DaV8King(m): 9:36am On Jan 04, 2019
Adeitanajoke:
https://dailypost.ng/wp-content/uploads/2016/10/NNPC-tower.jpg

Private security guards attached to the National Petroleum Cooperation (NNPC) and who protect oil pipelines from Lokaja to Kaduna, on Thursday staged a peaceful protest against the non-payment of 22 months’ salary arrears.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), reports that the protesting workers blocked the entrance to the NNPC Depot at Awawa, Abaji Area Council, FCT and denied members of staff, petrol tankers and visitors entry.

The security guards, who are employees of MRS Limited, carried placards bearing inscriptions such as: “Pay us our 22-months salaries, “We are not slaves” and “We will block Abuja-Lokoja Road if we are not paid.”

The spokesman of the protesting workers, Alhaji Abdullahi Kaja, lamented that when they were working directly under the NNPC, they were paid as and when due and received other benefits until MRS Limited took over.

“Other security guards doing the same work at Warri, Port Harcourt and Katsina, have been paid, but we at Lokoja-Kaduna axis have not been paid.

“When we were working directly under the NNPC, our salaries were constant and we worked under good condition.

“But when MRS Limited took over, there is no provision for even torch lights, raincoats and rain boots to enable us work properly.

“All we want is our salaries paid; as well as going back to work directly under the NNPC and not MRS Limited,” Kaja said.

He urged the government to intervene in order to resolve the dispute and forestall any breakdown of law and other.

Other protesters, Muhammed Hassan and Umar Isa, told NAN that the action had exposed them to hardship and unbearable conditions.

Hassan accused the management of MRS Limited of being insensitive to their plight, alleging that the management had turned deaf ears to their demand for payment of their salaries.

When NAN sought to speak with Alhaji Sani Mohammed, the Abaji NNPC Pumping Depot manager, he declined comments on the situation.

Mohammed said MRS Limited was responsible for the security guards and was in a better position to respond or address the media.

Sizzorkay:
Countries with shortage of manpower or low population while facing enemies or adversaries with numbers do this, it doesn't have to be current adversary, it easily could have been historic, so they left it on the books.
Now i don't know the population in those countries you mentioned, but i bet Nigeria dwarf them, so why not hire people for it when we have them in the millions? What enemy are we facing that requires us to start conscription.

South Korea for example have an enemy next door with over 1 million soldiers, so I'd say it's justifiable .
Finland and Denmark have Russia to worry about, and the one in Asia, perhaps worried about China or Japan / North Korea

AFTER A LITTLE GOOGLE SEARCH...

Finland> 5.503 million

Brunei> 428,697

Israel> 8,970,810 million

South Korea> 51.47 million

Denmark> 5,806,015 million

Nigeria > 190.9 million

This is why we don't need conscription, we have the numbers, unless we are on a war footing against Russia and US put together lol, no need
We don't lack raw manpower but we are badly lacking trained manpower.

Hence the suggestion of NYSC becoming a program to produce same via introducing basic Infantry training.
