MBBS is extremely competitive and if you dont meet the merit cut off, you wont be offered admission into the course but you may be given another medical or a science course.......but don't be pessimistic, you've not even done the post utme yet

Am only telling u why they had 5.0 last session. Someone is Still telling me they failed last year. Its only in foundation that student who had 40 mark in entrance exam will have AAA, that happened last year. let's see how this year will look like.

Foundation will have bright students esp the younger one that had to go thru it cos of age. But if they are to compete thru utme, most of them will not get in that am sure of.

Font forget with DDD (6+1 free mark)in foundation, u will be given a course. Those with 7 point upward must be given a courese

there're a lot of factors that could make a student fail or score low in an entrance exam( faulty computer, etc)....that doesn't mean the person is not intelligent and besides we've seen situations wherby unserious students become serious and vice versa........n utme is not a test of one's intelligence..........

If u had patience you would have seen where I said oau hostels are dirty, That its easier to pass in UI cos of comfort and that UI policy of attaching zero importance to jamb score is very bad.

I praise and criticize all the school but well na unilag dey breed u, I don't expect much from u.

This statement is not true.....if the in course is fraudulent, why did some students have 0point besides not up to 50% of the student that did the foundation programme last year were admitted, cos a lot of them failed

yeah, exam starts next week monday........I even have incourses throughout this week( Tue-Fri)

when I did mine at UNILAG last year, we had lectures for about 4-6hrs Mon-Friday n practicals on Saturday........it was so stressful, we had only sunday to rest

Unilag accepts HND holders into 300level, but its limited to faculty of Engineering and Environmental Sciences only

last year, a lot of students also made that mistake, but it wasn't amended..... just go to foundation office to let them know.....

did you actually write the exam,or you just bought the form to register your name with jamb?

DE exams are conducted by the school and not jamb.......And unilag does not conduct any exam for DE students......So you'll just by d form to register ur name n details and also to get your jamb Reg number which is very important, you'll submit a copy of the E-slip and photocopy of ur O'level result to jamb office , the admissions office at senate building (unilag) and to ur faculty..... That's all...N u wait for the admission list.....But for those not using awaiting jupeb result, they'll submit a copy of their previous degree certificate ( A'level, B.Sc, NCE, etc) together with those documents

The lady in question said she went to JAMB office last week and they were claiming it's not out yet. And that she enquired from Zenith Bank on Isolo area, they too said it's not out. It's just like they are using her to do turn-turn.

She should try again next week..

you can get a bus going to obalende from yaba.....when u get to obalende, go under d bridge and ask anyone where u can get a bus to jamb office. And as someone said above, they'll drop you in front of jamb office

If it's out, please, kindly state the amount and where (I mean the exact bank or agency) where one can purchase it. The person in question had enquired from some banks and they are claiming not to be aware of anything.

Firstly theDE form is from jamb and not unilag....... The scratch card is N5000 and u can get it from Zenith Bank or any jamb office n also FCMB

courses like Philosophy, Sociology and psychology.... though you should check d requirements for each of d courses on the website of d sch she wants to choose

Its a probability.... you may be lucky to be given another course....but don't expect a course in College of medicine.....But don't be pessimistic, you've not even done the post-utme exam yet

You'd buy this years DE form which I think is already out......you'll apply with awaiting jupeb result...... Get the form Asap n also meet ur coordinator for instructions on how to go abt it

Your name will appear, its just that when its time for u to be screened they'll ask for ur birth certificate n d date of birth as to correlate with thay on ur jamb slip

This unending siege in the College of Medicine of the Univerity of Lagos must come to an end. Over the years, students have battled with this menace. And the students body under the COMPSSA umbrella has fought in vain to end this nightmare of BEDBUGS in the hostel. They make arrangement for fumigation, at least, twice a session, but nothing has changed. The fear of bedbugs is now the beginning of wisdom. They hang on anything in the room, waiting for students to lie down. They swoop on students, and massively suck their blood. Imagine, students have to cross check to ensure they don't carry bedbugs to clinics /wards during clinical postings. Atimes, you see students helping themselves to pick bedbugs from their wardcoats. This is embarrassing!
Go to the medical hostel, you see students daily spraying one chemical or the other (usually Snipers) on their mattresses and spread them in the sun. Despite all this, bedbugs still holds way.
The Provost of the prestigious College of Medicine of the celebrated University of Lagos must declare a state of emergency on this bed bug menace, and put a permanent end to their proliferation. Even if the students are to vacate the hostels for one week, or even more, for effective fumigation, it will worth the sacrifice. The students through their association, COMPSSA, have done their best, let the authority come to their rescue.

please house I need your advice! The date of birth on my jamb slip is not the one I provided during jamb reg. I used 1998 during jamb reg. but now am seeing 2000... And now with this current year of birth(2000) am not up to 16yrs since my month of birth is December... Please will it affect my chances of gaining admission?
