sorry sir, but I've played in a competition before,
This doesnt take a ounce of truth from what im tryna pass across

if you've already qualified, the coach can just tell you guys to take things easy in your last match so as to avoid injuries and stuffs
Obviously, we all know that very well. That however isnt the angle im insisting on.

so even if the team you're playing needs the game the only reason you're playing is just to honour the rule
the coach's instruction? Yes i agree, but look@ what i said earlier still. Hmm

let bayer leverkusen play barca in a match like the knock out stage and see if barca won't beat 5-0 plus........
I know. Besides the mentality of approach would definitely differ from an ordinary group game

Now rephrasing, bayer were in total control of that game and barca were not in the game. To show they wanted to attack shows the inclusion of messi, thats enough for me as far as intent goes. But if you watched it, there was this feeling of 'is this barca atall?' hanging in the air. Yes injury scare, but see the tackles done, even messi wasnt careful to 'avoid injury' with his play yesternight.

Bayer would beat barca if they played them in the KO stage with yesternight's performance alone. But for all news in the world, we see them squandering chances that should have seen the net even when an 11yr old kicks it

forget gamblers. I dont do such. Giroud has done enough for my team.

huh! All these champs league matches are fixed *smh*

I pity those that are wasting their money for betting.
i agree to an extent.

Example Bayer Leverkusen vs Barca

BayLev were actually the barca team and the barca themselves were playing like getafe or Tottenham. Leverkusen had superb and their style of touches and passes depicts they were actually/are the tikitaka kings. Barca were just fouling as chicharito en ko were going thru d defence like knife thru butter. And yet with 17 sweet chances of 8/9 assurance of entering the net, the score stood @ 1-1. Definitely fixed. I stood many times in anticipation of that 2nd goal, but it never came. Haba. Too obvious a fixed match.

Senegal has not lost a match and i dont think they are about to start with Nigeria. This dream team needs to buckle up. Their performance has not been impressive.

Wish them goodluck though.
it wasnt a prettysolid performance, or a defence. But@ least a pretty solid goalkeeping and a prettysolid simulation of Gk from that defender that handled the ball and used pretence to form his head was hit. grin

Sleekyshuga:
Growing up, I have learnt that calling a particular number twice without getting a response indicates that the receiver is busy or indisposed, and at such, a text message should follow immediately..

Why should I continue calling someone who has refused to take his/her calls at the moment, when every hand set has an 'SMS feature?'

Funnily, I barely call grin, save the matter is very critical.. Since the invent of WhatsApp and BBM, making calls have been a herculean task..

Reasons why a caller keeps calling even after the receiver sends a message:

• Matter of urgency: Yeah!! Sometimes, the urgency @ which a message should be delivered continually gives the caller an edge to call, irrespective of your been busy or not..
An example is a person you gave an invitation to your office, house etc, and along the line, you got busy.. The person, being a first timer continually needs you on the phone for a better direction.. An SMS at this point is worthless cheesy..

• Verification of an info: Most peeps continually call to verify an info, especially in a do or die affair grin.. Your been busy matters little to them until you have heard them out..

• To gossip or to report a case that was physically seen/witnessed: Gossips are better done verbally grin.. You hear peeps say, 'Babe oo.. Wait make I call you.. This tory too long to type..'

PassingShot:
PDP is very predictable with its victim mentality! A useless party that brought sixteen years of pains, sorrows and sufferings on Nigerians.

How has Dokpesi been pronounced guilty by being arrested by EFCC?

Even, kids know that arresting suspects comes before prosecution. And so far, not a single one of those arrested has been held beyond the time limit stipulated by the nation's law. So, where is the lawlessness or persecution you cry of?

PDP and its sympathizers should understand that crying wolves and releasing statements calling on international community will not help them a bit. Not when available evidences do not prove anything against the government.

To be sincere, some of us are even angry that the nation's laws are preventing PMB/DSS/EFCC/ICPC from packing all the Dasukis, Yugudas, Bafarawas, Dokpesis, Oritsejafors, Diezanis and locking them up in jail for as long as necessary. They all trampled upon our constitution in sabotaging the economy and security of the country, yet they expect the same law to protect them from being brought to justice!

I wish Buhari was a military head of state as we speak.

Peeps from Ondo are always fast

Fasugba to Osayomi and now Femi. Maybe they should stage a talent hunt there.

Besides i heard that if they want to rep the country at the big stage, they must sign an agreement with those pot-bellied Officials that 'If you win, you will give a certain percentage to us depending on the medal won'

Now that's a crooked deal that few that love themselves go into. The football team isnt left out either.

64% of athletes that changed nationality in sports have won at least 2 medals on the global stage.

The govt doesnt like sport atall. They see it as ceremony.

Anytime I see this man still carrying out the duties of the SP, it reminds me of the mockery of the anti-corruption stance of the PMB govt.
sometimes a strong prosecution backbone and not a weak fibre strand type is needed to end these kind of events. But it wont be long before He(@the top) realize he needs advisers to bring him back from his vanilla-flavored time travel to military days and back to a democratic era!

Next time, if any party dont present a civilian as candidate, we should 'usain bolt' out of their camp. Enough of these old men that need rest. They are a reciprocal representation of our interest. That's how it looks@ the end of the day. But learning is still a new word to nigerians.

Those shouting 'the wailing-wailers are here' are now silent. It doesnt take long before they are equally affected regardless of partisan love. Both parties are afterall birds of a feather with the num of cross-carpeters worthy of a guiness world record.
