And he was obviously being celebrated, revered, given titles and hailed to the high heavens as a hardworking, smart and generous philanthropist, while the original legitimate hard workers will be looked down upon and probably bounced from that same event.

As we write here, so many like him are still being worshipped today in our neighborhoods and even places of worships.

This is the sad reality to how low we have descended as a nation and people.

I understand your concern and fears brother but I think some of the military schools here are well maintained, if you don't mind I can research for the best among them for you. I'm also a product of Nigerian Navy Secondary school but it is the one in Lagos and has no facilities for boarding boys.

The other concern you raised is about tribalism, you will not find that in military schools, is it the teachers that will victimize kids due to tribe or students from middle/upper class? tribalism is deeper with lower class, unfortunately now Buhari is taking it to another level by his unjust appointments but the educated upper/middle class are not as tribalistic, please let's shield kids from all these adult politics

PS: Catholic schools are good too
Pls help me research them and school fees too

Dear madam, don't listen, I repeat don't listen to people who laugh over his behavior or ask you to ignore it, check their homes, their boys are future thieves & Yahoo boys further more their kids lack home training. Many parent feel that they don't need to train their children(boys especially) but that they'll grow out of their problems. What if they don't grow out of it? if you can't do it, send your son to me, I'm a disciplinarian and like kids, I will be his guardian in Nigeria and he can attend a military boarding school here, your son will be transformed for good. God bless u
@ the bolden:
I have thought of this for my son but due to the state if corruption in Nigeria that has made a lot of infrastructure to go into dilapidation, i fear he may live under terrible environmental conditions and because i have lived in similar conditions (and was left with a scar psychologically) in an institution even before things became this bad, i vowed never to let any of my kids have a similar experience. Also, due to the state of tribalism in Nigeria, that is another challenge that may endanger him worse than the aforesaid environmental conditions.

First of all it's about choice, and everyone should respect if she says yes or no.

The primary thing a lady should check is if the guy has future, goals and ambitious. hard working and have a plan even when the money is yet to come.then other things that makes you love him.

This is the kind of guy a lady should be inspired to have, if the guy is rich it's a win win. If he is still building his life my dear join him and build it together.

What ladies should know a guy can be rich today and poor tomorrow and poor today and rich tomorrow. What makes a man is the ability to focus, have a plan and pursue his goals either rich or poor guy this is what you should look for in any guy. Same goes for guys looking for a lady.

Ones a lady have that same chemistry, ideology with the guy my dear they would move mountains. Been rich or poor is of mind set not necessarily physical aspect
My guy, I say u LIE. U never see at all. No let men wey don see, teh u Wetin dem don see for this life. Forget all that talk. Let the ladies pick Wetin dem want. No b issue. Guy, if u see Wetin some men don see ehn, Chai! This life no be everybody get am o. Some things go just dey happen to u ehn, even native doctor go fear say ur issue go rub am. E go begin take style dodge u. U never see my guy. No let person wey don see, tell u Wetin e see.

ALL of you talking crap here about not looking down on a guy's humble beginning, una never see disappointment that looks like witchcraft dey run ur life. From one shocking problem to another. From one issue to another. Frustration would set in; the guy if he has a heart would begin to find a way to let the poor girl go marry someone else, cos he is tired of keeping someone's daughter is perpetual poverty. Suicide would be his everyday thought. Disappointment would drain every determination in him, when he sees those way below him, climbing up and he is left in the slums and can't even afford the slum life. Una never see strong thing. Sotay ur bad luck go begin affect ur woman life. She too go begin see serious shegey wey she never see before. My guys and gehs, if I all diz geh wey dey say dem no fit do am, no matter how God fearing I expect u to be, I no dey blame u at all, becos who don see, don see and e no go want make u see Wetin e don see.

it's the Dynamics of law. A judge refuse to grant one that will be paid directly to the plaintiff but later did after a long while. The courts have always speculated that's why no presidential election and some high profile cases judgement will ever go the way it should especially as the consequence of the judgment out weighs it's merit.
Should i take this with a pinch of salt or just say the lawyer didn't really know wat best to do for his client. I have a matter where the losing party grin appeared and asked for a stay. I opposed the stay but in the alternative i asked for a conditional stay, should the stay be granted. I even went ahead to specify the nature of the conditional stay and the court granted it. The losing party grin was furious and only able to comply in part with the conditional stay. Since he partly complied, that is no compliance, i had to apply for an enforcement of the judgement and the judge booked an audience with me to satisfy him on why i am entitled to an enforcement. I leave the rest to your imagination grin grin grin

yah I agree with your submission. But on whether a court has no business requiring it's registrar to hold judgement sum an exception may apply were the defendant has intention to appeal and it's not known to the court a judge may preempt that there may be an appeal and do that but when the appeal is time bared. Sum will be released to the plaintiff. Although not in all cases.
When has speculation become the business of a court?

I was not led by the headline David. I read the entire op, clicked on the link and did a search too, and still found nothing about this judgement apart from the initial case lodged way back in 2011 and the garnish order against CBN, and all because it seemed absurd to garnish CBN without a judgement against the liable FG.

looks like there are SAN's here. When odi was invaded and the matter was in court, it was the FG that was found culpable but it went as far as the supreme Court and compensation was paid. Can a garnish order be enforced when the matter is on appeal or will be appealed. I think that a judgement preceeds a garnish order and the judgement provides grounds for appeal.
The order of the FHC was that the judgement sum be paid into an "interest-yielding account" under the control of the Reg of the FHC. Now if u say the case is on appeal, that order of the FHC must therefore be an order granted pursuant to a conditional stay of execution. What I mean is that there a judgement awarding that sum to the community. However, the FG must have appealed against the judgment and also sought to stay the execution of the judgement, by filing a motion for stay of execution before the same FHC. Reading the quoted ruling of the FHC, the court must have granted the stay of execution but on a condition that the money be deposited under the custody of the Registrar, so the money would generate interest, pending the determination of the appeal. It was that condition that the lawyers to the community must have sought to enforce or ensure the FG complied with.
A court has no business with requiring it's registrar to hold or take custody of a judgment sum, in any situation other than that of a conditional stay of execution, becos a judgment sum is to be paid to a successful party and to no one else. So the only basis for a court to make this form of order is that a conditional stay of execution was granted to the dissatisfied and appealing party.

No! It like you suing my bank for me slapping you. I'm sure my bank will tell you to fuq off, and if my bank does pay you I'd sue my bank and likely win.

The order goes to the FG who could likely be liable here, and not to the FGs banker who has no responsibility for what the FG does!
See how daft somebody's father can be. Wat a pity

Most improtantly, please pray for him.
