I have this MTN Number that I have not used for about a year because I lost the sim. I had earlier called MTN customer service to block the line which they did. I sent money to someone using a FINTECH account that uses that number. The person I sent money to called that number. It was another person that picked and said wrong number. The person I sent money to later called me to confirm the number. I said I had not used it for a while. I called the number and to my surprise another person picked the call. I linked this number to my NIN. I called MTN customer service to complain and they said that my details have been removed from the number (in other words, they have reassigned my number)
Yes, they re-assign your line if you don't use it for a long while...
In my opinion, that is very wrong (security wise). But, this is Nigeria.
We all know that liquids are not allowed to be taken onboard an airline... The airline would still provide water during flight. So, why the insisting on taking his Onboard?
Idaok007: Gurus in the house, please advise a first timer going for this Passat.
Very durable and reliable german machine... But, only few mechanics can be trusted with it!!! Plus, the cost of spare parts is a little higher than average.
Sunnyrado: I want to thank God for making me eligible to see another year again, even though am not feeling too well but am still breathing. Today is my 45th birthday, still single, but open for a relationship anyway.
Happy birthday to you!!! I wish you many more blissful years ahead... Cheers to greater future!!!
Adekunlegold9ja: Finding true love in the world/economy is one of the most difficult things ever.
Every woman is after who's gonna take care of her with money. Men are after pre marital sex. Those of you that ended up marrying those you love and they actually love you back. Don't know what God did for you. I have seen people in genuine relationships that's last long 30years plus in which both love each so much. For me so far I have only been meeting those I love. And they don't love me as much as I do love them.
Keto believing and one day, you will find that which you're heart truly yearns for.
alphonsoolajide: Bolanle Ninalowo Joins Hollywood Film with Blac Chyna, Launches ‘Maka ti Japa’ Series
Nollywood Star, Bolanle Ninalowo, popularly known as Maka or Makanaki, is spreading his wings beyond Nigerian cinema as he officially ventures into Hollywood, working alongside stars like Blac Chyna and Vivica A. Fox.
In an exclusive interview with The Nation, Ninalowo revealed that he recently wrapped up filming on a Hollywood movie project, marking a significant milestone in his international career. This comes after a brief hiatus from Nollywood, during which the actor says he was focusing on both family and new career opportunities abroad. Eyes Of Lagos reports,
“I’m doing some things in Hollywood as well—creating my mark over there,” he shared. “I just finished a movie with Vivica Fox and Blac Chyna, and I’ve got a few more roles lined up.”
While details of the movie are still under wraps, fans are buzzing with excitement over Ninalowo’s bold crossover into the American entertainment space. Known for his rugged charm and powerful performances in films like Picture Perfect and Coming from Insanity, the actor seems well-poised to make a splash on the global stage.
But it doesn’t stop there.
Ninalowo also revealed that he’s working on a new docu-series titled Maka ti Japa, a personal project set to premiere on his streaming platform, Makanaki TV. The series is described as a gritty, humorous take on the immigrant hustle, following the story of a stereotypical Lagos agbero who decides to chase the American dream.
“It’s about the life of an immigrant—a Naija agbero guy who says, ‘I fit go America too,’” Ninalowo said with a grin. “I wanted to speak for the streets, and tell the story of an area boy trying to make it outside Nigeria.”
Far from the typical portrayal of street boys as irresponsible or violent, Ninalowo emphasizes that the central character is ambitious, street-smart, and deeply relatable. Drawing from his earlier iconic role in Picture Perfect, the series hopes to humanize a segment of Nigerian youth that is often misunderstood.
“This character isn’t the ‘useless guy’ people often assume—he’s got dreams, responsibilities, and determination,” he added.
With production already underway, Maka ti Japa promises to be a compelling mix of drama, reality, and social commentary, painting an authentic picture of diaspora struggles through the lens of Nigerian street culture. It’s expected to resonate deeply with the global African community and lovers of raw, character-driven storytelling.
The dual announcements — a Hollywood debut and a street-level docu-series — showcase Ninalowo’s evolving career trajectory as he transitions from Nollywood heartthrob to global storyteller. By balancing blockbuster ambitions with grounded narratives, Ninalowo is setting a new standard for Nigerian entertainers aspiring to make waves beyond African borders.
Fans, both local and international, are now eagerly awaiting more details about the Hollywood film and the premiere date for Maka ti Japa. If one thing’s clear, it’s that Bolanle Ninalowo is no longer just a Nollywood star—he’s a rising global force.
Kontrol97: "This man took interest in a young lady who attends same church. She was in her early 20's and also a virgin, she refused his advances but the church stepped in to the point of even meeting her parents. They convinced them that it's better they marry out their daughter instead of letting someone else to spoil her and since they all know that this man to be of good character, a barsu kawai su yi auren dangi.
Both families agreed, meanwhile when the preparations was ongoing the groom was also planning to travel to US and before the wedding his visa was out, a day after the wedding he traveled out leaving his young wife behind. Here's the twist, he didn't even touch her that night on the claims that he was too tired, so he left his young virgin wife behind in Nigeria.
She pleaded with him to rent her a house before leaving. But he refused, he insisted that she stays with his parents so they can put an eye on her. She stayed there and was practically slaved for them, his siblings stopped doing anything, she cooked, she cleaned, she washed and ran errands. Infact she didn't have a life.If she's running errands, her mother inlaw will go with her, they never let her go out by herself. After 2yrs he was able to file her and she traveled to join up with her beloved husband. That was when her woe's began, on getting there she discovered that he was already married and living with another woman, she slept on the couch while he and his woman slept in the room. There also, she began slaving for them both, she did the cooking, cleaning and all the available chores.
She also discovered that he drank heavily and smoked, like a totally different personality of what people knew him to be. She was smart enough to gather all the available evidence and then she began insisting that she wanted to return to Nigeria. They eventually did and she reported the matter to the church, omooo when they saw the evidence, they were bewildered, they asked her what she wanted and she said she wanted out, he couldn't even look at the committee, his head was buried in shame. She told them that since she got married to him he has never for once touched her not even a kiss and in his defence he said he's very sure when he left her in Nigeria she was sleeping around. Like how?
She was practically living with his family and couldn't go anywhere without any of them following her, so how was she sleeping around? The committee agreed with her and dissolved the marriage, she went into the marriage as a virgin and left as a virgin. "Alhamdulilahi"
If this story is true... It is really an interesting life experience!!! Some men are Serial time/ destiny wasters
Akanabaa: Two armed robbers thought they had an easy target in Karachi, Pakistan—until they were ambushed by a store worker hiding behind a wooden door.
The dramatic CCTV footage shows the robbers demanding money, when suddenly, gunshots blast from behind the door, striking one of them. Seconds later, the door swings open and more shots are fired, taking the robbers by complete surprise.
ejiszmindset: I'm dealing with a very troubling situation. My neighbor in the flat next to mine is constantly using ice (methamphetamine) every day. His behavior has become increasingly erratic and disturbing. He causes frequent trouble, and at night, he even enters my ceiling space from his apartment.
When his wife tries to caution him, he brushes her off and says things like “Who am I?” and “What can I do?” He has also been spreading lies about me to his relatives and seems to be plotting things with his friends. On a few occasions, I’ve overheard him say things like, “Do I know who he is? , he will kill me,” which is deeply concerning.
Some neighbors have urged me not to react violently, saying it might be a spiritual issue and that confronting him physically could harm or even kill him. This whole situation has become overwhelming for me, and I’m not sure how to move forward without putting myself at risk.
If anyone has experience dealing with something like this—especially involving drugs, threats, and potential mental health or spiritual issues—please advise on the best course of action. I want to stay safe and deal with this lawfully and wisely.
NDLEA is your friend in this matter... and plan to move out of that house as soon as possible
